Took my youngest daughter here for the first in years and she loved it. Menu caters to almost all dietary restrictions - and saw new bagel options I've never seen in other bagel shops. (They get a Bonus for decent pricing too.) I ordered a spinach cheese, veggie spread bagel and my daughter ordered the turkey club with asiago bagel. My daughter loved it so much, she wants us to go back and try the other items on their menu. 8 out of 10 for me, enjoy!

Was here after the rushed breakfast crowd I got a special breakfast in brew. Same issues as before staff isn't really pleasant. They're very short you can't ask questions.. The tables are dirty trash is overflowing.. when they wipe the table it's with a cloth. It's in a red bucket thing for multiple tables.. I'm sure that's a health issue waiting to happen. This location is still the same as the last time I came thought I'd try and give him another chance. East Ranch location is just not the best bet.

I have been coming to this location for over a decade. Service can be slow at times due to their popularity but they do their best. One of the staff members was so helpful last time. She patiently assisted me with the app so I can get a free coffee. She then helped me get hot sauce and napkins even though these items were already on the self-help counter and I just missed them! I have also spilled coffee on another visit and the staff didn't complain or give me attitude. I apologized profusely and they just cleaned it up without a fuss. I am back again today and I had great service again. I finally got the name of the gentleman who helped me this time. His name was Elie. I want to thank everyone who has patiently assisted me in the past and say I appreciate you! Now onto the ambiance, I love coming here because the minute I swing the heavy glass entrance door open, I am greeted with the pleasant smells of toasted bagels and coffee. It feels and tastes like breakfast. My favorite coffee is their vanilla hazelnut coffee. It is aromatic, nutty and lightly sweet. My favorite breakfast sandwich is their egg, tomato, avocado and bacon sandwich under their "Classic Eggs" menu. I also love their blueberry and cranberry bagels, just by themselves, or toasted with butter or cream cheese. My second favorite breakfast sandwich is from their "Signature Eggs" menu. It is the Chipotle Sunrise. That sandwich is flavorful, spicy and filling. I always split that with my son. My daughter likes their pepperoni pizza bagels from their "Deli Lunch" menu. There is really something for everyone if you are a bagel lover. For Valentine's Day, they offer these special heart-shaped bagels. I have special ordered them every year and absolutely adored them for the added ambiance to a very special holiday.

Avocado Veg Out Sandwich, $8.19 prior to tax

This Einstein Bros. Bagels is located in the same plaza as Wells Fargo, specifically two doors down from Wells Fargo. I stopped by this location with my husband this past Saturday morning. I made my order online for in store pick up. I was glad to see that my order was already in the pick up shelf when I arrived. An employee had helped me find my bag and the same for my husband. Then we walked back to our car. Anyways, this is what I ordered: Avocado Veg Out Sandwich, $8.19 prior to tax- This sandwich came with a small bag of chips, which was missing from my order initially. The bagel this sandwich was on was "thin" in which you can choose to have your bagel thin. But I did not choose that so I was annoyed that happened. Also my sandwich was not cut in half like my husband's breakfast sandwich orders (and the sandwiches are supposed to automatically come cut in half, so that it is easier to eat). The sandwich itself was good and liked that it was packed with plenty of vegetables. Twice Baked Hash Brown, $1.99 prior to tax- I ordered this for my husband, in which he thought it was okay. I had a bite and at least glad it was hot. But I wouldn't really call this a hash brown, as it was mostly egg and reminded me more of a mini quiche. There was only a little bit of potato in the middle but it wasn't crunchy like you would expect for a hash brown. Farmhouse Egg Sandwich, 1 egg, $8.19 prior to tax- Just like my vegetable sandwich, this egg sandwich was not cut in half. My mom ate this and liked the breakfast sandwich though. ------------------------------------ (Total= $20.36 after tax) It is a good thing that I double checked the contents of what was in my bag because I was missing 2 items (the twice baked hash brown and small bag of chips). If I did not, then I most likely would not have driven back for those items but would have been a bit disappointed and annoyed. When I had informed an employee near the pick up shelf, this employee looked at my bag and then told me that she will make sure to fix it. She took my bag with the gloves she was wearing making a sandwich and then gave it to another employee. Then she went back to preparing the sandwich she was working on. Because that employee touched my brown bag, she should have changed gloves before going back to working on the sandwich she was working on. Shortly after, I was given my bag again, which included the missing items. When I first arrived, the place was packed and think it is possible if I went on a week day, maybe my order would not have missed anything. I think in the future, if I was to come back to this location, I would probably just come on a week day instead.

Sorry, tiny little bagels not even toasted.
    Dave F.

Another corporate mess. Panera Brands ownership. Bagels are tiny and depressing. What service? I asked for my bagel to be twice toasted. The person helping me looked at me very perplexed as to what I meant. Gave me some lame Excuse that they had just been removed from the oven so he couldn't toast it twice. This isn't a neighborhood bagel spot. People come around here because of options or lack there of. If another family owned bagel spot opened, this location would close and it would fold up quickly. And for the business manager, who will respond to this review, asking me to respond to einsteinbrothers.com/contact with details of my visit so that you can give your corporate directives and sincere apologies??? Fake Don't even bother.

To think I used to eat here two to three times a week. I had so many go to items that I loved. How negligent do you have to be on food safety and sanitation to end up with a vermin infestation???!!!! Rest assured when they reopen I will NOT be back.

I've been trying to find a good bagel spot close to me and I'm sooo happy we came across this spot. They had such a big selection of bagels and very good breakfast sandwiches. It was super busy but we still got our food super quick and delicious.

First time here. We chose Everything All Bagel + Jalapeño Cheddar as our bread and it did not disappoint! I had an amazing first experience with customer service. Food was delicious, I would come back if I was in the area.

Chorizo Sunrise Egg Sandwich & caramel cream Cold Brew
    Amber L.

Best sandwich ever!! I was a little hesitant with the cream cheese since I've only ever had regular cream Cheese on my bagels. I'm glad I didn't change anything it's my new go to! The cold brew is decent, can be a little on the sweeter side but it does the job. Order ahead if you're in a hurry but if not the line to order goes by quick. Waiting for your food is what takes the longest.

On my recent visit, I tried their bagel sandwich with egg and bacon on a jalapeno and cheese bagel with cream cheese. The sandwich was so yummy! The scrambled egg was fluffy, and although the bacon wasn't super crispy, it was still tasty and paired well with the sandwich. It was also a great deal at $7.50. I have yet to try their drinks, but they have a variety of Filipino inspired lattes like ube and pandan. They even sell calamansi juice. Customer service is great! The only downside is the parking. The avocado blt had nutty smooth avocado, savory meaty bacon, juicy tomatoes, leafy lettuce, and tangy mustard. I got it on their jalapeno cheddar bagel which was chewy, soft yet dense, and had a bit of a kick from the jalapeños. Wasn't getting much cheese flaves tho. The pizza bagel also had a nice chewy, soft, dense bagel with a sugary tomato sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. Wake and Late has become my new go-to breakfast/lunch spot in Pasadena!…read more I discovered Wake and Late about three weeks ago, and I've already been here about 6 or 7 times! I can honestly say I'm hooked. Their burritos have become a staple for me, especially because they're not overly filling and, unlike a lot of breakfast burritos I've had, they don't leave me feeling super bloated afterward. I keep my burrito pretty basic since I don't like meat in my burrito. I usually get egg, cheese, avocado, and tater tots, and it's SO good. I did try adding the refried beans once, and the first time they were delicious. Unfortunately, the second time they tasted a little off, so now I just stick with my usual order without the beans. And let's talk about the iced coffee! This is probably one of my favorite things here. I work in the area and parking in Pasadena can be a nightmare, so I usually walk about 15 minutes from work. By the time I get here, especially on a hot day, I'm completely overheated and that iced coffee hits the spot every single time. Definitely recommend getting one! The service has also been consistently great. Everyone I've interacted with has been kind and friendly, and the whole operation is really efficient. I also love their app. If it's your first time and you download the app, you get $10 off, which I thought was a great incentive. You also earn rewards with your purchases that you can use toward future orders, and I really appreciate that. Those little perks go a long way! My only complaints are the prices for add-ons. I think $2.50 just to add refried beans is a little steep, especially when you're already purchasing a burrito. Bacon being $4 is also on the pricey side. I don't mind paying typical Pasadena prices, but I do think some of the add-on costs could be more reasonable. Overall, though, I really enjoy Wake and Late and it has quickly become my go-to breakfast/lunch spot when I'm working in the area. Great burritos, AMAZING iced coffee, friendly employees, and a really efficient operation. Their packaging/logo is very nice also. I definitely recommend checking them out and get the iced coffee!

It was quite small but strong and enough after the workout. It was delicious too! The vibe: It seems chill but not too much decor. They blocked out a lot of spaces behind the counter and there were limited seating spaces. It was also hard to hear when they call your name for the order. Herby mayo, hot sweet peppers had a hint of spice, pastrami was soft and not too salty, egg was fluffy. It was a good bagel sandwich. However, I don't think I'd reorder this. LATKE Crispy and savory. The sourcream and apple sauce together was delicious. Absolutely loved the apple sauce, which had a beautiful texture and sweetness that was addictive. The star was the applesauce! SALT BAGEL, EVERYTHING BAGEL, CACIO E PEPE, EVERYTHING PUMPERNICKEL BAGEL All of the untoasted bagels except the Cacio e Pepe, had a firm outer texture, a bit hard to tear apart with hands. Inside the bagels were dense, yet had a light chewy texture and not dry either. Toasted, they were even better. The outer crust was beautifully crispy and the inside bagel was soft and chewy. The beet cream cheese was delicious with all the bagels! Cacio e Pepe was soft all around, unlike the other bagels. Cacio e Pepe had a light cheese and black pepper crust. It wasn't full of cacio e pepe flavor right off the bat, but still enough to know what you're eating. If you ate only the top bagel, I think you'll get the best of this bagel. Still good all around, even toasted. I think it will be great as a bagel sandwich. Everything Pumpernickle had a good pumpernickle flavor in addition to the everything seasonings. They did not skimp on the seasonings! Every inch of that bagel was covered in seasonings! Favorite Bagels: Salt Bagel, Everything Bagel BEET CREAM CHEESE Delicious! Smooth, creamy, almost buttery! This is whipped cream cheese with roasted beet puree. Light in beet flavor, it had dill in it too. I was hesitant in getting a tub because it was on the pricier side. But it was so good, glad I got it! SEATS / AMBIANCE It had a lovely East Coast diner feel when walking in. But still, the space felt a bit cluttered. There were booths, counter seats and outdoor seats too. It was packed inside on a Wednesday lunch. Got there before noon. CUSTOMER SERVICE Overall good, friendly service. Staff was smiling and that's always a good thing! Went on a Wednesday before noon, but it was nearly packed. PARKING Horrible. Just horrible. Street parking only. There's a few spots directly in front of Belle's, but it's metered parking too and also it was full. It's parking that always makes or breaks your experience when driving to LA. After driving around to find a decent parking spot, I finally found one close to Belle's, but after parking, I realized it was a loading zone. So hurried to get my food to go and just ate in the car. Overall, I enjoyed the bagels here and would love to return for their bagels and lunch offerings.

When you see food on IG and think...i'll need to add that to the list of places to try on my next…read moretrip. We almost skipped it but so thankful we added it to our first stop on our last day in SoCal. Aside from their top choice garlic stuffed bagel, we tried the LA Lox which was melt in your mouth lovely with crunch of pickled onions, cucumber, tomato and lox. Our to-go order included extras like French Toast bagel that comes with syrup. Hot drinks like cappuccino and ceremonial matcha also made it into our cart. Everything was beyond better than any bagel we've had. The hype is nothing to shrug off. Articles written about this establishment are posted around. They even have a flyer like handout that you can take that tells the story. It was a crowded place for sure. Locals were pouring in for all the.good things. Atmosphere is very casual, relaxed with high and low tables inside and plenty of patio seeding outside. Parking could be challenging. There is an underground parking area with limited parking. Aside from that, street parking is hit and miss. Ordering is managed through the touch screen available at the front. The staff is very helpful and friendly and able to answer questions. They take your name and phone number and you get a text message when your order is ready as well as staff notifying you by calling out your name. There's also a digital screen showing you that your orders in progress and what's been completed. They have complimentary water and lemon iced tea. They also give out samples of bagels for customers. Pricing is on the high side, but for the type of bagel and satisfying eats and drinks it's acceptable. We will always do our best to come to this place when possible. We wish it would expand to NorCal. Until next time we are smiling with gratitude for the experience.

Bacon Scallion Stuffed Bagel 4. Truffle Tots 5. Biscoff Latte My ranking of the stuffed bagels: 1, 3, 2 Dad's ranking: 1, tied between 2 and 3 Dad says the tots were okay, which was surprising bc he devoured them Biscoff Latte was yummy but lowkey kinda small for $7 imo, but my dad likes how it wasnt too sweet :D Line was hella long but manageable. If anything, ordering online might be the way to go Overall, super yummy and dad wants to take mom here next time

I don't like pitching businesses against one another, but I can't describe it any other way. I hadn't realized for years, but I happen to live only a few blocks away from this neighborhood gem. Lucky me. I went on a weekday brunch-y hour and was able to get an elite parking spot and an outside table in the shade. It was perfect. A little too perfect because now I think about the egg salad every morning. Also, I'm a sucker for brick buildings and friendly people. So this... This little bagel spot? It's a 15/10 in my book. Will return.

You go inside, place your order, then pick your order up outside at the window and there is some limited outdoor seating. My lox bagel sandwich was delicious and I also enjoyed the bagel I bought to go for breakfast the next morning (it stayed fresh). I also bought some dessert pastries here for my kids and they said they were very tasty. They boil and bake their bagels here (boiling is a must for me - can't stand just the baked bagels - those aren't real bagels!) Even though it was crowded the service was fast enough. There is plenty of free street parking in the neighborhood - you just have to walk a bit but nothing major.
