I called Same Day Garage Door Services and spoke to a nice lady who answered all of my questions, was very transparent about pricing, and was able to get a technician to my door in only about two hours. Angel, the technician, showed up respectfully wearing a mask, introducing himself while staying socially distanced, and he was very outgoing and friendly. I'm in the service business myself and they don't get any friendlier than Angel was. I explained to Angel that my door opener is having it's 30th birthday, sounds like a diesel engine, and I showed him the areas that needed attention such as the loud roller wheels, missing door seal, etc... It was bad! Angel was very courteous in answering my questions. He didn't upsell me on a single thing, there was zero pressure, you can tell that he just wanted to make sure I am making the best decision for ME which is insanely rare. The pricing was extremely fair, to the point where I had him do a ton of work.... Door opener, springs, door seal, and roller wheels. He was very precise in his work, he's just as obsessive on detail as I am, I could not be any happier. I now have this garage door, that used to sound like a bulldozer and make the neighborhood dogs lose their minds, to now having this whisper quiet door that's comparable to hearing mouse leak an air biscuit in New Mexico. I was getting off shift and pulled into the garage half asleep, when the spring on our garage door snapped and made me jump out of my seat! I was definitely more awake after that one! I called Same Day and was given a reasonable price over the phone. They weren't available same day (Sunday) but were able to come out first thing Monday morning. When the installation tech came out (Trevor I believe) we met and he explained why the springs fail. Our two-door garage had only one spring and he stated the garage door would function better with dual springs to share the weight of the door. Unfortunately, this increased the price by about $90. On the plus side, the installation took minutes to complete and most importantly my garage door opened and closed smoothly again. read more

We had a garage door issue where the mechanism was no longer able to pull the door open and we had to do it manually. I contacted Same Day garage and they basically responded and came and got things fixed in a couple hours. Not only that, but the repair person figured out there was some wiring issue with the sensors on the side and repaired that, and also recommended we get a silicone lubricant for the coils. All we paid was the cost of the house visit. Since their visit, our garage door has been the smoothest and quietest it's been since we moved in three years ago. My garage door was jerking and very noisy. I thought I needed it serviced so contacted this company. Michael showed up on time and when I told him what was happening, he said he knew what it was when he drove into the driveway (my garage door was up). Amazing! He asked me to close the door and as it closed (and reopened) he showed me where the door was bowed and that it needed a brace (reinforcement strut) on the bottom panel. Took him like 10 minutes to complete the installation and, voila, door was good! Also performed maintenance (lubricating springs, wheels, bolts on doors) while explaining to me what he was doing and where so that I would be able to do so in the future. Checked with me the next day to see if the door was good. Michael gave great customer service, was professional and knowledgeable. Will definitely use them again when needed. I found Same Day Garage Service well looking for a company to come and check to see if our 2 garage door openers where installed right because we began to see cracks in the drywall around the units. So began my trip down the rabbit hole of looking up companies and reading reviews and in that process I found my way to Same Day Garage Door services. So I'm happy to repot that our service guy was Anthony P. and he showed up on time and had his ladder in hand and began the process of checking the units. Turns out it was a drywall issue ( found out that the drywall tape lines where tapped over more than once) any how Anthony said the only issues he found was that the rubber liner on the bottom of each garage door was in need of repair ( it was actually split because they where old) and so thats what we had the work done. my final thoughts on the matter is YES!!
