Our garage door wouldn't close and I called Same Day Garage Door Services at around 6:00pm on Friday night. They gave me an appointment at 8:00am the next day . Angel came out to our house promptly at 8:00am and it turns out there were a lot of problems with our garage door. The garage door opener was bad, and the garage door itself had a lot of issues. Angel was very knowledgeable and spent all morning fixing the main garage door and also our golf cart garage door. They both open smoothly and quietly now. We'd been having problems with a 16 year old garage door opener for two weeks. It would open but not close with the door openers. So changed batteries, got a new open... still it was sporadic...so sent in a request for help and Peter called in a short time and we set an appointment for that afternoon. Peter and Trevor explained it was a sensor and could be fixed but because of the age of the open and something else could happen it might be cheaper in long run to install a new open. Our 16 year old garage door needed serious attention. After searching Yelp for a service company I decided to call Peter at Same Day. Even though it was 3 PM when I phoned, he had a service man at my home at 7:30 that evening. After examining the door the technician found that my door metal was buckled. (I had let the door drop before the service man arrived). Yet the serviceman gave me the option of repairing the door with the realization that it may not last much longer. He then gave me the option of purchasing a new door. No high pressure...no pushing me to do one thing or the other. I decided to purchase a new door. Long story short, the door was installed in three hours this morning (2 days after initial service call). I was not charged for the first service call and the complete door installation was handled professionally and promptly. Needless to say, I am extremely pleased by the service I received. I have 3 vehicles and and 2 garage doors. All three keyless entry's stopped working. After two days of frustration I was ready to replace everything ! My phone sent me to yelp when I searched garage door services. I called this company about 3 PM because they have great reviews. Pete called me back within 5 minutes and said he would be to my home by 7 PM that night. He had me up and running within about 30 minuets ! I can't give a review unless I rate same day garage door. So I will have to give a one star for such a horrible experience we had with them. First off they took us for all it cost to get a Door and haul away too. We had to have another company come and put in another new one as they didn't even line it up right . Which may have been a factor in their new door breaking too. They didn't want to even fix it when it came off the tracks and jammed. Finally after many phone calls and them blocking my phone number (they would talk to my hubby only on his phone) they gave us back $600 of the $1995 plus $100 for the removal. But it was a battle. They also have other names for their company. The county couldn't even find them on the internet either. They have some 5 star reviews but they must have paid them to post them. Save yourself money and really get a qualified company for your next garage door replacement or repair. read more
