I feel like I got charged more than I should have. The front desk lady also said "well you didn't have to get French tips you could have just gotten your toes painted..." which yes duh I could have but I didn't want that. Also, I wasn't aware but apparently you can walk in and just say "just paint my toes", you don't have to pick one of the services from the menu? (I didn't know this but feel like that should be public knowledge). With all this and the quality coming out not the cleanest, I would not recommend this location.

I walk in to see a young man asleep on one of the chairs right in front of the door. It seems he was related to one of the owners because a woman walked up to him and told him to make himself useful before he moved to the front desk and slept there instead. This was just odd and tanked my perception of value for this place. Somebody starts working on my pedicure and by the way she's handling the tools, I decided I didn't trust them with a Russian service and decided to do a regular gel pedicure and forget the manicure. When I asked to see the colors , I was brought just a few. When I asked to see more, I was told a lot of the colors are 'bad polish' I just wanted a light pink and that just was not available. The pedicure itself was good. She did a nice job and was very friendly. However, I ended up spending full price ($70 after tip) for what really was a discount experience. I truly would not have left such a tough review if the price came out to be what it was worth which in my opinion is about $45-$50.

So incredibly sweet! I showed her a pic of the nail art I wanted. She knew her stuff because she was able to look at the pic and tell what was used to create the look. She walked me through what she would need to do to do her interpretation and I let her do her thing. I was not disappointed! The final mani look was amazing!!!! When I noticed that some of the pigment came off with the matte application, she quickly fixed it. The pedicure was so relaxing, and she happily fixed my clumsy smudge! Thu has the softest hands! I did a chrome color - pricing was not disclosed prior to me choosing the Chrome either (Beware any add-on is charged. You are basically nickel and dimmed for every choice. My pedicure became an easy $100. Onto the quality of my nails. The quality was horrendous. The tech did not go all the way down to the cuticles so my fresh nails with a brand "new set" (I don't use tips and still got charged for a full set ) it looked like they were already a week old. After having the tech redo them to fix her mistake, they still look like shit. The tips of my nails are missing chunks of chrome. I'm not willing to walk back in there because this manicure and pedicure became an easy $215. I have never in my life paid that much for a simple pedicure and nail set. We came to Houston to try something new and expected it to be a little pricier, but I did not expect to give away my first born child. Nor did I expect to leave completely unsatisfied.

She was working on another customer's cut and color by herself (she used to have someone helping with shampooing). I showed her a picture of how I wanted my haircut -- long layers, clearly blended. Unfortunately, when I got home, I noticed the layers were uneven and didn't blend well at all. The cut just didn't turn out the way I hoped, especially considering the higher price. I even called the next day to share my feedback, but she gave reasons for why it turned out that way instead of really listening. Hair will grow, but after this experience, I think it's time to find another salon that knows how to cut and blend layers properly.
