I'll attach a pic of my receipt below but when I asked her to explain how French tips made the service go up $70. Her response was "well you asked for that" but like.... I feel like I got charged more than I should have. The front desk lady also said "well you didn't have to get French tips you could have just gotten your toes painted..." which yes duh I could have but I didn't want that. Also, I wasn't aware but apparently you can walk in and just say "just paint my toes", you don't have to pick one of the services from the menu? (I didn't know this but feel like that should be public knowledge). With all this and the quality coming out not the cleanest, I would not recommend this location.

The shop is right on Fondren with plenty of parking available. You can walk in or make an appt ahead of time but they always have some availability. The shop is clean but there's no extra frills to distract you like at other shops. They have a few chairs and maybe 3-4 techs working at a time. They offer you a beverage and get right to business. Each time I'm left feeling good because the experience is great. Their prices are similar to old times ($40- gel pedicure and $25- regular manicure). If you're looking for a shop, check them out!

So incredibly sweet! I showed her a pic of the nail art I wanted. She knew her stuff because she was able to look at the pic and tell what was used to create the look. She walked me through what she would need to do to do her interpretation and I let her do her thing. I was not disappointed! The final mani look was amazing!!!! When I noticed that some of the pigment came off with the matte application, she quickly fixed it. The pedicure was so relaxing, and she happily fixed my clumsy smudge! Thu has the softest hands! Now let's talk about the vibe that is The Nail Lounge! It felt as if I was with my girlfriends! I laughed and talked with the other customers in the shop and we all had a great time! Sjardee, the owner, will get it lit with the refreshments! This experience was the best nail shop experience I've had! I did a chrome color - pricing was not disclosed prior to me choosing the Chrome either (Beware any add-on is charged. You are basically nickel and dimmed for every choice. My pedicure became an easy $100. Onto the quality of my nails. The quality was horrendous. The tech did not go all the way down to the cuticles so my fresh nails with a brand "new set" (I don't use tips and still got charged for a full set ) it looked like they were already a week old. After having the tech redo them to fix her mistake, they still look like shit. The tips of my nails are missing chunks of chrome. I'm not willing to walk back in there because this manicure and pedicure became an easy $215. I have never in my life paid that much for a simple pedicure and nail set. We came to Houston to try something new and expected it to be a little pricier, but I did not expect to give away my first born child. Nor did I expect to leave completely unsatisfied.
