Upon completion of my treatments I realized there was a credit on my account due to an overcharge on a filling I received. I was unaware of the credit until I specifically inquired about it. At that time I was notified that funds were withdrawn from this credit for the two treatments I did not pay for in 2024 but also did not receive. I was told there was no way to dispute not receiving these treatments because I signed the "treatment plan." Therefore, I was allowed to be charged for them. As far as completing my treatment plan, my teeth look fine. The staff is nice. However, I would have appreciated more transparency with patient billing.

He took a great deal of time to gently and patiently explain exactly what my issues were and offered me valuable advice on how best to remedy the situation. I had been struggling for over a year with implant supported dentures that kept breaking and were painful to even wear. I could barely even chew with them and they had cost me over $11,000. The work had been performed in Maine and I just didn't know where to turn now that I was living in Zephyrhills full time. I'd had a horrifying experience with a different dental practice in town that necessitated my need for dentures in the first place so to say I was a bit "gun shy" is putting it mildly. He knew I was traumatized by the entirety of the situation at hand and that he was quite literally my only hope. He also knew that finances were a big issue for me but he never made me feel inferior because of it. Because of his 34 years of expertise and his kindness, I left his office with a solid game plan on how best to resolve my problems. I no longer felt uninformed about what my issues were and for the first time in a long time, I had hope that my nightmare would soon be over. I highly recommend Dr Melker as he is a wonderful Endodontic Specialist. I would like to also give five stars to Lavendar who is the gal who works at the front desk. When you need a root canal, a week seems like an eternity. Next, Dr. Melker can really numb up a tooth. He came in the usual place and then returned 10 minutes later to do some other injections in and around the tooth. I didn't feel a thing during the procedure. In fact, I was numb until the next day.
