The man who answered said he could pick her up in an all-wheel drive vehicle and that he'd be monitoring her flight arrival time. After she got her bag, she texted him and then called him twice and left a message - with the same phone number I used to book the ride, 206.883.0666. No answer or reply to her message. And no record of a call or message from him on her phone. She spent the night at the airport. I called him the next day to inquire, and he said he'd waited an hour at the airport and tried to call her multiple times but that his calls went to voicemail. He said he didn't leave her a message. She has no record of a call from that number or any other number at that time. I'm assuming he still had my cell number on his caller ID from earlier in the evening but he didn't call me. Also, the website gives two different Redmond, WA addresses as a business location. Neither is a legitimate Redmond address. Just had the worst experience…read more The person at Oncab who took our information(departure point, destination, etc) took such a long time to get all our information down. It was a 10-15 minute conversation. I had said our destination is Sea-Tac airport, but the person had written down the wrong address somewhere in the city and had given us the wrong quoted price. The dispatch center( which is a separate company) had called to tell us that the destination address is wrong and would have to charge us an additional fee. Kudos to the dispatch center because they try to alleviate this mess somewhat. We were waiting for the driver to arrive but he was at the wrong address because the person at oncab had written down the wrong address. I don't know why because when she had repeated the address to me it was correct. Ultimately because of cross contracting, no one is "responsible" for anything.

However, when we reached the Delta drop-off area, he claimed it was $55 due to high gas prices and refused to honor the earlier $50. When I handed him my card to pay, he pulled his hand away and said paying with cash is quicker. Then, with frustration, he questioned me about not having cash three times before running my card. For some reason, he then tapped the scanner after removing it from his phone and told me it had my information. While getting my luggage, he mentioned something about being Christian and wouldn't be dishonest. The vehicle had such a strong odor that he left a couple of the windows slightly open for the entire trip. I will refuse to use another taxis in Seattle and plan to stick with Uber.
