Usually on point but I had a bad experience that I think needs some work so hopefully the owner reads this and takes this feedback and helps his team improve I placed an order for a cake for my sister's birthday. White chocolate with just a simple Happy Birthday written on it. Called in on 12/27/19 to pick up on 12/30/19 around 4pm. Plenty of time right....WRONG!!! Got there on 12/30 around 4:45. The guy at the counter looked me up in their order book, then went to get my cake, only to find out NO CAKE. He proceeded to point to a cake still in the pan telling me it's not ready yet. Soooooooo me calling 3 days ahead is not enough time????? Anywho it's for my sister's birthday so I had no choice but to wait for them to prepare the cake. Sitting there waiting, one of the guys from the back called me up to the counter because he doesn't know how to write on cakes and no one knew how to. I was thoroughly done at this point I guess he saw my face of annoyance and gave me $10 off....should've been more but I just wanted the cake A customer is trusting your business to provide the service they are paying for. Not answering phones and when you finally get someone, they give shoddy service and make up stuff just to get you off the phone. Was told they didn't have my cake after waiting 20 minutes because they didn't have the flavor and My child's 11th birthday party was at 7 pm. I came to pick up the cake at 5 and there was no cake. I made a special trip for this cake after my daughter mentioned it. It was worth fighting the traffic and being a greater distance than I anticipated. It is in an obscure shopping center off Washington Rd after Camp Creek Parkway. I arrived about 1.5 hours before closing. I tried the white chocolate cake. The slices are huge and they have it portioned for two servings. They had the nerve to have warm pound cake out too so of course I had to get it! Who walks away from warm pound cake?! I'm the baker in my family and I have to give it to them, they make some delicious cakes. The Linda cake is delicious! It was the perfect consistency and the flavor was delicious! The white chocolate cake was a bit heavy but the flavor was good. It tasted more like a sour cream maybe with a cream cheese frosting, than white chocolate, but it was good nonetheless.
