    Turkey leg

I have been wanting to try this place for a long time and I so happy there is a location on cambellton road. This is the newer location. Its located on the shopping center I think it next to Didis there wasn't a sign when I went but there is on there now. So you enter and I was immediately greeted by the owner. It's spacious , with arcade games in the front and a place to take photos. Super clean. The menu is visible with many options. I ordered a funnel cake with whip cream and powdered sugar , candy apple , Turkey leg and tiger blood shave ice with condensed milk. The owner was very nice and patient I wasn't sure what I wanted but she helped me decide. The candy apple was great , the funnel cake was fluffy and not greasy at all. I loved the Turkey leg it was yummy and huge I was able to make Turkey salad from it lol . The sno cone was great. Only thing next time I would get maybe a bowl or something to place under it because it melted fast and I like it kinda soupy. But it was many flavors and topping to choose from. I'm so happy to have this place closer to me I will be back. Next time I'll take pics before I start eating lol

This one is located in the heart of Auburn Avenue, and embraces the soul of the historic neighborhood. The interior is small but does have the exposed brick which permeates the buildings historic charm. I love pecan pie and this one did not fail my expectations. Additionally, the blueberry cobbler was amazing. However, if you want update your gustatory experience and reward your taste buds, I recommend heating those desserts up and pairng it with some ice cream. Parking is limited though.

We drove downtown specifically to try out this spot - paid $8 for parking in the lot next to the building. Front space Clean fun inviting feel with handwritten notes on wall. Service: The young lady helping was nice, but we waited at least 10 minutes before she came to the front to greet and assist myself and another customer before me. No pudding available Cobbler: had barely any crust (iyktyk) and the filling could use improvement. I think we were also supposed to get ice cream ? If so we didn't get it. I got the cinnamon roll with apple butter. I thought it would be throughout but it was on top, and the roll itself was a little dry. Purchase 2 peanut butter cookies that were huge for my son. Not sure how they were but he didnt complain so I assume they were good.

We saw some of the really cute things in the window, so we walked in and it did not disappoint. The place was filled with chocolates macaroons and a whole bunch of pastries. You could also order a whole variety of espresso drinks and lattes, etc. It even had a really cute seating area directly outside, but if you could fit yourself inside, there was some bar seating as well. The place is not large however, the cases are definitely filled with a lot of goodies. On this particular day, it did take us a little while to make a decision as there are quite a few choices. However, the two staff members who were here that day were very patient with us. We did walk away with macaroons a lemon meringue tart as well as a Canele. You know what it's in the pictures. I do not have a picture of that because it was eaten before I got a chance to take a picture of it. But everything was so tasty absolute perfection. I don't know who's making this stuff but they are truly talented. I have to come back here again when I'm in Buckhead Village.

Their ube is also excellent - richly flavored, and again not too sweet. I highly recommend getting them swirled. Their drinks are also very good - we have had matcha, oolong, and others. I guess I must've written it off due to the parking situation, and I honestly would've never visited, but a friend suggested coming here, so here I am. It's very, very limited parking. I'm not sure if we're *allowed* to park in the nearby parking lots, and I didn't have to, but if there's only like 6 spaces with barely enough space for cars to pass through entering and exiting... idk, it's not for me, esp when Doraville can get v traffick-y and the turn lanes are just waiting. Interior wise, it's cute. It tries to invoke a sense of Japanese aesthetic with the shoji panels, all the wood and light, the fake flowers, and I don't hate it. It's a fine place to sit and chat, though I feel bad for others who want to visit because again, the parking here sucks. I got their black sesame latte float with a matcha and sakura (seasonal flavor) swirl. The sakura was sweeter than anticipated and not floral, which was a bit disappointing since I didn't like it alone or mixing with the matcha flavor. The black sesame portion was fine. I like the nuttiness of black sesame in general, and I would've loved if they used more for a stronger flavor. The flavor was subtle, and with the ice and soft serve on top, got easily diluted.

Matcha Cafe Maiko - Very tight. It was probably cute when they opened but it felt a little muted/old to me.

We went to the amazing Atlanta aquarium, and the Yard is a short walk away. The menu is a good size, and there are a good variety of options, we had a hard time choosing. It was not very busy during our visit, considering how involved the shakes are to make, we did not want too long. Our group of three each got a milkshake jar. They are pretty pricy, you do get to keep the jar. I had the salted Carmel cheesecake. There was a bit too much whip cream. The shake itself was very good. It was topped with a peice of cheesecake, which was still frozen. I was not a fan of it frozen, we ended up taking some of the dessert toppings home, and the cheesecake was good later. I was surprised my niece did not finish her Brookie Batter, she said it was too chocolate. I tried it, and it was too intense with the cocoa. They had a washing station if you get a jar shake to clean it and take it home.
