The shop has a great atmosphere with cool art on the walls by in house artists as well as others. All of the tattoos I've seen come out of that shop are great quality, and I highly recommend checking them out. You always want to do research to ensure the artist you choose fits the style of what you're looking for, but I'm sure they would be more tha helpful in aligning you with the right person. This is a great place to go for high quality custom tattoo work and I highly recommend it if you're in the area or plan to be.

We called and messaged the shop multiple times trying to see if they were open, no response. We were worried about losing our deposit money, as they were not very friendly the first time we were there, so we drove almost an hour there at our schedule appointment time. They're closed. We did not receive a call the day after, or the day after that. No one reached out to reschedule our appointments, or to apologize about not informing us the shop would be closed. When we finally got in contact with them, they told us they might not to refund our deposits to us. It took over a week of back and forth calls to finally get our money back. Only leaving two stars because the tattoos from the first time look fine. Other than that I will not be returning due to the unprofessional service and rude attitude from our tattoo artist.

I should've got up and walked away when I realized the lack of sterile procedure and preparation. He had to re pierce my nostril 3 times cause he didn't use the right gauge/jewelry. When he pierced my eyebrow he left me sitting there with the big a** needle hanging from my eyebrow because he didn't have the jewelry ready in his hand. 0/10 recommend.

It was not pierced to match my left one that I already had. After months of trying to heal it, I decided to take it out. Ruby offered to Pierce it again for free, which was very kind of her. However, due to angling issues I decided against it and asked for an ear piercing instead. Which again, she was kind enough to do. We did a conch piercing. I thought something was wrong when I noticed a butterfly post being used for my piercing. As far as I know from my knowledge of piercings those are never used except MAYBE ON LOBES. It should have been a 16g flat back. When I asked, ruby said the butterfly post was indeed 16g, and when I changed it out once it healed I could easily put a 16g in. I decided to trust her because she's the piercer and should know better than me. After I left, looking and feeling it, compared to all of my other earrings which are 16g I realized this was no different than any normal earring butterfly back you could get at Claire's. I immediately took it out. The hole itself was at best a 20g she might have pierced me with. I don't know if she did this because it was a free piercing and she didn't want to waste her good jewelry on me, but I'm hurt. I've gone to her for now four piercings. Tipped every time. Recommended her to others. I can't say I'll do the same anymore. Needless to say it's already closed and I'll be doing elsewhere for piercings. I'm disappointed. Pics attached.

I wasn't aware it was cash-only and said I needed to run next door to the ATM. She told me if I wasn't back in 15 minutes, she wouldn't be able to do the piercing. My friend and I took maybe 5 minutes or so, returned to the shop, and proceeded to wait another 15-20 minutes. My piercing went fine, my friend's did not. She went to a different shop for a second opinion and they advised her to remove the jewelry from her nostril and allow it to heal as it was pierced at an incorrect angle. No mask worn this whole time by Ruby. And I didn't really appreciate her comment about me getting my nose pierced "on the gay side". Unnecessary, unprofessional, and rude.

Lots of things have changed in terms of process and aftercare, so I had a LOT of questions (not to mention, this was a four hour session to finally complete a tattoo outline that I gave up on a long time ago - double what I was used to sitting through). I had stumbled upon Ash's work through Google, and their style was exactly what I was looking for to finally complete this piece. I am so glad I did! Right off the bat, the studio was such a cool space, clean and welcoming. Ash was so understanding, and went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and informed throughout the process. They took time to understand my vision (what I didn't like about the existing work, offering suggestions and solutions), checked in frequently throughout the tattoo (making sure I was handling it ok, explaining what they were doing to transform it, what to expect in terms of healing - shading will lighten, etc). They were so patient with all of my questions, and so easy to talk to; aside from the tattoo, we had some great conversation about books, movies and more. They put me at ease and the time went by much faster than I thought it would! Last but certainly not least... I could not believe my eyes at the end of the appointment. Absolutely gorgeous, detailed work! I am going back for another session (or two) to complete it, but it already looks AMAZING. It is so much better than I could have ever imagined.
