She told me that she heard good things about Sacred Addition. I gave them a call to see if they would even be able to do it this week. I spoke to Anthony and he asked me to email him a picture of what I wanted. We stopped by later that day to speak with him. He said he would come in Friday (his day off) to do it before I went back home. I came in Friday for my appointment. We got started on the tattoo and it was immediately way too painful for me. 15 minutes in, I told him I probably would only be able to do the outline. He wasn't pissed (like I would expect someone to be if they came in on their day off to do a tattoo) and told me he was almost done with the outline then we could take a break and then start the shading, which was much easier that the outline. I said okay. He was right. The shading was much easier than the outline. There were a few other points during the 2.5 hours that I was ready to give up. Anthony was like a motivational speaker. He encouraged me to finish it, but in a nice way. The owner (didnt catch his name) was drawing something near where I was getting tattooed and also encouraged me to finish it before I went back to California the next day. He said, "you don't want to be walking down Venice Beach with an unfinished tattoo." I told him I live in San Francisco and likely wouldn't be at Venice Beach anytime soon. But his encouragement was still nice. It's been a week since Anthony did my tattoo, and it looks amazing. I'm so so happy with it. Thank you, Anthont!

The shop has a great atmosphere with cool art on the walls by in house artists as well as others. All of the tattoos I've seen come out of that shop are great quality, and I highly recommend checking them out. You always want to do research to ensure the artist you choose fits the style of what you're looking for, but I'm sure they would be more tha helpful in aligning you with the right person. This is a great place to go for high quality custom tattoo work and I highly recommend it if you're in the area or plan to be.

I sent Joe and message on IG and told him I was interested in getting my leg sleeve filled in with lots of color and small tattoos. He was super kind, responded and told me to swing by the shop for a consult and some photos of the leg that evening. I was stoked to have him take a second out of his day to meet with me. Consult went great and he was cool as heck which was awesome. My schedule is super hectic and I travel a lot and I'm not a resident so I was worried he would be upset - total opposite. Dude pulled out a planner and started throwing all sorts of times and days out there "Wednesday at 640pm? Saturday at 10am? What works?" I laughed because that's how my schedule literally works we ended up getting a few sessions in and knocked out the rest of my leg! I get stopped at least 2-3 times a week by strangers asking where I got my work done. I just love looking at it!
