I waited about 3 months since I've purchased this car to make this review, I  have a 2020 civic that I purchased from our next car and I waited to have enough time with the car so I could make a genuine review. The car was advertised on craigslist by Juan, one of our next car's employees, Will seems like a nice guy and was very helpful throughout the process and this is why I'm conflicted to make this review. About a week and a half after purchasing the car I decided to do an oil change just to be certain that the oil was new and clean, I noticed that the area where the spark plugs are was full of what seemed to be tree nuts which lead me to believe they don't do a thorough inspection on the cars, I never bothered to call them about this issue because I didn't get a warranty on the car and it was an easy clean up with a vacuum. About two months into owning the car I noticed that the paint on the front bumper started to literally peel off, these cars are salvaged titled and the bumper was one of the "repaired" areas of this specific car, I just don't think that it's a good buy considering I paid 20k for a salvaged titled with a really bad paint job, the reason I paid that amount was because I was under the impression that the repair job that they do on the cars is top notch quality, but it really isn't, I would have gone somewhere else and gotten the same salvaged car for much cheaper with the same bad quality repairs but that's my fault I guess. If you buy a car here maybe try to haggle the price to something much lower than what they are asking for or just go somewhere else where they sell salvaged vehicles, again, Will is a nice guy but I think that maybe he's not in charged of going over the repairs himself. Hopefully this review helps people out or at least serves as constructed criticism for the business to improve on, I'll just save my money and have the bumper professionally repainted in the future. read more

BUYER BEWARE! Before you purchase a SALVAGED car from Our Next Car, do yourself a huge favor and TAKE IT TO A MECHANIC AND GET IT CHECKED OUT. I purchased a 2010 LR2 from Will (the owner) for $8499 and he gave me the impression that the car was in great shape and nothing was wrong with it other than some minor issues like a cracked reflector, scrapped up rims, a jammed moon roof screen, old cracked windshield wipers, a dead key that needed to be replaced, cracked rubber molding, broken hood lifts, and some other things I was willing to take care of. But when I drove away, I started hear a humming sound coming from the back. I thought it could have been the 4WD or maybe it was the tires. It continued over the next few days, so I took it in to get it looked at by a mechanic who specialized in Land Rovers... they said the rear differential bearings and the vacuum brake pump was shot and would cost a minimum of $2400 to repair... possibly even $3800+ if they find out there are more issues. I brought this to Will's attention and he said "it's a manufacturers defect" and it's not covered under his 30-day warranty... (which only covers airbags, engine, and transmission). Will conveniently left off the drivetrain on the warranty. I spoke with a CA lemon law attorney and he said that is not common practice. Most used car dealers 30-day warranties should also include the brakes, steering, electronics, and drivetrain. Our Next Car's Warranty DID NOT! Be informed and be warned! After some pleading and negotiating with Will to help me since he sold me a car without disclosing that it had those issues and still needed major work ... he offered to help only if I paid back the $500 "discount" he gave me on the car and paid him back for the key he bought to replace the dead key he sold to me with the car. (Note: I had to pay an extra $100 to cut and program the key he bought with his dealers discount.) So all in, after I bought the car... and already put $500+ into it... He wanted me to pay back the $500 discount AND pay for the key... then he would do the work on the rear differential and still charge me 50% of the cost of parts and the labor. I have taken it to 2 mechanics so far and both said it looks like someone tried to work on the rear differential in the past and did a poor job on it. I don't know if Will and his mechanics worked it. I don't trust him to tell me the truth one way or another. I decided I could no longer could trust him and no longer wanted to work with him to fix the car. There were way too many slight of hand moves Will pulled on me where he wasn't fully honest that made me lose trust in him and his business. (One example I asked was, if the car had heated seats... he said, "yeah, I think so"... Then AFTER I BOUGHT IT... I asked him to show me where the buttons for the heated seats were... and he said, "oh, I guess it doesn't". This has been a huge headache for me and my family. Our Next Car may have some decent SALVAGE TITLE cars. Just make sure you... 1. Get it fully checked out by a mechanic BEFORE buy it. Don't take Will's word for it. 2. Read and understand exactly what is covered by the limited warranty (30 or 90 day or extended warranty) he offers with the car. Expensive lesson learned. My guess is Will is going to respond to this review and say he bent over backwards for me. I really feel bad for him if really believes that is what he did. UPDATE: I ended up paying an extra $4600 to deal with all the issues the car had. I paid a total of $14,200 (including repairs) for a car only only worth $9500 on KBB. Will exceeded the used car salesman stereotype. I would not recommend. read more

I wouldn't even give this place a single star if it were possible. I'll admit, I could have been a but nicer to Will who had been communicating with me regarding a 2016 BMW M3 that I had been inquiring about. Nonetheless, I was trying to learn more about why the listing for a 2016 BMW M3 had been claimed as "totaled" by the insurance company, yet Will seemed to be just as confused, and couldn't provide me with any more information as to why this was besides telling me to look at the pictures on the website. I DID look at the pictures. ALL of them, and multiple times. There seems to be a few pictures that are alluding to very minor cosmetic scratches, but in no way would this constitute the car to be "totaled" by anyone who has a decent set of eyes. Along with the little information that Will seemed to provide, it seemed even more apparent that even after I had explained to him that I was a serious buyer (which I am), and that I was willing to pay full cash for a car (which I am), he couldn't have seemed any less interested in winning over my business. I have been heavily involved in the car sales industry, and know that any good salesman would have called the customer right away, especially one who is clearly looking to make a deal. How come I was given such blunt responses? Is something being hidden? Why could you not provide me with the Carfax for a car that has been deemed "totaled"? This is not a dealership that I would ever do business with, and would encourage anyone thinking about buying a car here to be very, VERY hesitant before making a decision. Don't waste my time, just be honest with me, and at least make somewhat of an effort to make it seem like you actually want to do business with a potential buyer. Worst experience I've had with a dealership. Shady as hell they don't disclose it on any of their different website advertisements! If you are looking for great value, I highly suggest purchasing a restored vehicle from William of Our Next Car LLC. If you don't mind that fact that many of the cars in his inventory are salvaged vehicles, you can definitely get a great deal from him. The cars are priced several thousand dollars below market, because he passes the savings on to the customer. He and his crew do not acquire, and work on, vehicles that are "high risk", but rather, they only work on cars that they think they can restore to OEM specifications. In addition, they try to make the cars to be safe and drivable, and that they do not cut corners when it comes to safety. I have been driving my car a while now, and everything seems to be working fine. But perhaps the best part of my car buying experience with William of Our Next Car is his honesty and integrity. He does not push any expensive and unnecessary after-market products, like window etching. In addition, you deal with him directly, and he has an onsite DMV affiliate office for paperwork. Bought a car here and was very happy with the price and entire process. It needed some body work which I received at a fair price and was offered a loaner car at no additional price. It seems that this dealership specializes in flipping salvage titles which is why the prices are so good, but I was shown the original insurance report showing that it was only a salvage because of a fallen tree branch causing minor cosmetic damage. William, the owner, managed the registration for me in house without me going to the DMV and gave me a heavily discounted BMW warranty to make me feel good about the purchase. I was very skeptical about his cars, they seemed too good to be true. I did a vehicle history report on some of the cars I was interested in and they were salvage title. But I called and talked to Will and he let me know that they were in minor accidents that caused the salvage, and they've been restored to like-new condition. I was still very skeptical and paid for a vehicle inspection. Sure enough the inspection came back with no mechanical or structural problems. I ended up buying a 2014 Prius-V. There were before pictures of a Prius that had been in an accident, but when I went to see it the vehicle had been repaired and looked very clean. To be completely honest, I have never purchased a salvage title before and was extremely skeptical. My main concerns were regarding financing, insurance, and vehicle reliability. Ultimately, the online reviews and Will's clear answers to all my questions made me comfortable enough to go through with it. There are a lot of misconceptions when it comes to insurance title vehicles but Will was very patient and professional throughout the entire process. Great great price, no pressure to purchase, car itself had all of the bells and whistles and have not had any problems with it (aside from user error, getting to know the vehicle).
