Tire lite on and after I asked why he said drive and it will disappear... LIES !!!

They clear check engine lights that will return in days just to sell a car... Then don't offer warranties ... That's trash cuz u think your doing good but 24 hours later and 50 miles after I signed a 5 year deal it's back on indicating some 1 manually cleared it so it would be sold... WHATS NEXT ??? Should I bring the hood ???

Joe and Sue are very nice and frank. I called the day before and Joe told me about the car (full CarFax report). He was very helpful, even offered to pick me up from airport. (I trusted it so much I flew down from out of town to pick the car up). They sold me an amazing car, in very good condition, at a great price. They even re-serviced it and went out of their way to made it prim and fresh: new battery etc... Car drives like new, in VERY good condition. Joe and Sue were proper and super diligent with all the paperwork. As a DMV agent they did everything, so within 1hr of buying car am completely set! (they take good care of neighbourhood feral cats, which is a clear sign of some stand-up folks!) Can't recommend them enough. Super trust-worthy.

    Bus

I've been looking for a passenger bus for a few years. Looking for just the right one. I finally found one at J and S auto on Facebook. I went to yelp and looked at the reviews. Their aggregate rating was kind of low so I looked at the details. The only complaints they had were mistakes the DMV made and somebody that only talked to Joe on the phone. The guy that talked to Joe on the phone didn't like Joe. Now Joe was probably just in the middle of something because it's a small shop and he and Sue do everything But that's just the first impression maybe catching Joe at a bad time. I like the bus because it had a wheelchair lift and I need one because this bus fulfills my dreams of traveling in spite of challenges. Then we cut a hard deal with them. Negotiated real well and they gave us a good deal, which I'm sure they weren't happy with. That being said even though we negotiate hard with them a bit they were really kind and gracious. Went far out of their way to make sure everything went our way. They bent over backwards did way more than anybody could ask a car dealership to do. They're honest and decent people. And yeah Joe doesn't always have the best phone skills but his hearts in the right place. You can trust these people.

    Pearl White Subaru Impreza

My sister bought a car from them in 2017 and had a great experience, so I stopped by and talked to Susan about wanting to purchase a Subaru Impreza wagon with low miles. I also had a Prius to trade in. They didn't have one on the lot, but Susan found the exact car I wanted within 2 weeks!! Now I am the proud owner of a pearl white Subaru Impreza wagon with all the upgrades!!! Highly recommend. They can find you any car you need.

Just bought a 2015 Ford Explorer from S&J auto using their financing option. They found me a great bank to finance with. The car is in excellent condition and was at a very fair price. Susan , Joe and Evelyn were extremely helpful in purchasing my first SUV. They knew everything there was to know about the car. I will be going back to purchase my next car from S&J in the future. Highly recommend!

I got the car of my dreams on a great deal at S&J Auto! Thanks Joe!

I'm the type of person who only writes reviews when an experience is REALLY BAD or REALLY GOOD... and ever since I moved to L.A. a year ago, I never had that feeling of "I'm doing a review on this"... Until now... So I decided to do my first review on Yelp... I was looking for a car for about three months now and since I'm REALLY obsessed about finding THE exact one that would match my personality (and of course, my budget), I've been searching every day ever since. I found "the one" in two dealers but, not only S&J had a better price, but their car was 20.000 miles less than the other and it was in better condition. Other than that, Joe is one of those guys that looks like they came right out of a movie! What a character... Funny, helpful and above all, seems really trustworthy... A cool family guy! I cannot avoid mentioning his office manager Evelyn... She was really sweet and helpful too! I know I only had the car for about 24 hours now, but it seems in perfect condition... Of course, if something unexpected happens I'll definitely come back to update this review, but so far I'm REALLY happy with my car and would definitely recommend S&J to all my friends when they mention that they are trying to buy a car! Thanks Joe!

Buying a…read morecar can be stressful, but these guys made me feel like I was being taken care of by family instead of being treated like another sale. Yaz was my salesperson, and what I appreciated most was that he was NEVER pushy. I came in already knowing the car I wanted -- a beautiful 2024 Nissan Sentra with very low miles. I decided to put a larger amount down and finance the rest to help build my credit. Yaz made the entire process easy, explained everything, and helped me with the application in detail. He did show me a leasing option so I could compare and make sure I was making the best financial decision, but he could tell my heart was already set on that Sentra. Instead of trying to push me into something else, he respected my decision and helped me get the car I actually wanted. I really appreciated that. Then came insurance. I was already frustrated with State Farm and had been sitting on hold forever trying to get coverage for my new car. Yaz told me they had Allstate right there in-house and introduced me to Poblo. Poblo immediately calmed my nerves. Within a few minutes, we were laughing and talking, and he actually recognized me from a TV show I was on! As an actress, that was such a cool moment because it reminded me that the work we do really does connect with people. But Poblo didn't just make me feel comfortable -- he got me a BETTER insurance rate with Allstate than I had with State Farm. Goodbye, State Farm! Finally, I sat down with Moe in finance, and somehow the experience got even better. Moe was able to get me a better interest rate than I was originally offered AND my monthly payment ended up lower than I expected. He really hooked me up! By the time I left, I kept thinking, "I just met these guys, but they feel like people I've known forever." They were reassuring, respectful, patient, and most importantly, they did exactly what they said they were going to do. I drove away in the car I wanted, with a better insurance rate, a better financing rate, and a payment I was happy with. If you're looking for a car and you DON'T want the pressure, games, or hassle -- go see Yaz, Poblo, and Moe at Honda World Westminster. Good people, great service, and they genuinely made me feel like my business mattered. I would absolutely buy from them again.

Honda World -- Please Think Twice Before Doing Business Here…read moreI would strongly recommend that people think twice before doing business with this dealership. We have been customers since CK was there, and over the years, my husband and I have referred more than 12 families, including my sister and my dad. Unfortunately, our recent experience has been extremely disappointing. Since the new corporation took over, we have seen significant changes, including long-time employees being let go and what appears to be unfair treatment toward employees who have dedicated many years to the dealership plus cutting their wages. We recently purchased a used CR-V, and unfortunately, it developed a major problem just a week or so after we bought it. We were then offered an HR-V as a replacement. However, we did not realize at the time that we were being given a lower trim/model than what we originally expected. After being loyal customers and referring so many people to this dealership over the years, we expected much better communication, transparency, and customer service. This experience has been incredibly disappointing. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and treats both customers and long-term employees with the respect they deserve. Please do your research and consider taking your business elsewhere. DONT support this place.

I bought a used 2022 Toyota Corolla Hybrid from Toyota of Anaheim on 12/4/2025. It had to be towed back within 5 days and was out of service for 31 days. Toyota of Anaheim's own repair documents later showed wiring issues, corrosion/exposure concerns, replacement of a wiring harness and door module, and signs the right rear door had been worked on. These concerns were not reflected on the CARFAX provided at sale. The car failed again within 5 months with multiple warning lights and another major repair. They fixed the repairs and helped with rental, but that does not change the fact that the vehicle had major problems almost immediately. We requested a goodwill resolution. They declined repurchase, offered a trade-in/new purchase option, however STOPPED responding to our final written follow-up. Not even a polite decline, just completely ignored. Caveat Emptor -- Buyer Beware…read more I recently attempted to purchase a Ford Transit 350HD from this dealership as an out-of-state buyer. Unfortunately the experience turned into one of the most disorganized and frustrating vehicle purchase attempts I have encountered. This dealership advertises itself as a "family-owned business," which suggests a certain level of accountability and professionalism. That was not reflected in my experience. After identifying a specific Transit van listed online, I contacted the dealership and confirmed the advertised price. I spent several days working through the purchase process, provided documentation, and secured financing approval through my lender (Westlake Financial). At that point the deal should have been straightforward. Instead, the transaction steadily deteriorated. Three nearly identical Transit vans were involved and the dealership repeatedly confused VIN numbers during the process. Pricing changed multiple times after the initial quote. I was eventually told that the price I had been given was incorrect and that the vehicle should have been listed higher than advertised. In an effort to move the deal forward in good faith, I even agreed to the revised higher price. However, the problems continued. A shipping credit that had been advertised was removed, and the dealership then insisted that I would need to pay California sales tax on an out-of-state purchase despite clear documentation indicating otherwise. What was most concerning was the lack of management involvement. The salesperson, Anna, was polite and personable throughout the process and appeared to genuinely try to help. However, it was obvious she had been left to manage a complicated transaction without adequate training or support. When the situation began to unravel, a sales manager should have stepped in to correct the problems and provide direction. Instead, the responsibility for the entire situation appeared to be left on a relatively new salesperson. The finance manager, Emilio, was particularly disappointing. Calls were not returned and basic questions regarding financing and tax obligations were not properly investigated. A finance manager's role is to clarify these issues and ensure the transaction is handled correctly, not to leave customers chasing answers. Throughout the process I remained patient and professional, even as the terms of the deal continued to change. Ultimately I decided to walk away because the pricing, terms, and vehicle information had shifted too many times to proceed with confidence. For transparency, I retained all documentation related to this attempted purchase including email correspondence, financing approvals, pricing discussions, and VIN information. My advice to potential buyers is simple: verify every detail in writing and proceed carefully before committing to anything. A dealership that promotes itself as family-run should demonstrate the coordination, leadership, and accountability that such a claim implies. In this case, that expectation was not met. It's also worth noting that the only time I've seen Maria, the sales manager, get involved is when apologizing for all of these negative reviews. If you read this in it's entirety, please check out my profile. I don't leave negative reviews, only positive. This is my first and its so sad.

On June 13, 2026, I went to Garden Grove Kia intending to purchase a brand-new vehicle. After reviewing my credit, I was told that because I was new to the U.S. and had a limited credit history, they would not sell or finance a new vehicle for me. Instead, they strongly pushed me toward purchasing a used vehicle with a very high interest rate. The vehicle they recommended already had a brake problem. I was repeatedly told that it was only a minor issue, that there was nothing to worry about, and that the vehicle would be repaired and ready for delivery by Monday. I trusted what I was told. Monday came, then Tuesday, Wednesday, and even Thursday, yet the vehicle was still not repaired and could not be delivered. That was the moment I realized the problem was probably much more serious than I had been told. While waiting, I carefully reviewed my contract and was shocked to discover that I had been charged approximately $3,500 for an extended warranty. During the sales process, I was led to believe the vehicle was covered up to 100,000 miles. I did not understand that I was actually purchasing a separate warranty costing thousands of dollars. As someone who is new to the United States, I trusted the people at this dealership. I honestly believed they were trying to help me. Instead, I now feel that my lack of experience with the U.S. car-buying process was used against me. When I told them I no longer wanted the vehicle and asked to cancel the transaction, I was first told that cancellation was impossible because I had already signed the contract. Only after I insisted and told them I would file legal complaints did the sales manager finally agree to cancel the deal. Then something happened that made me even more uncomfortable. The sales manager brought me additional paperwork and asked me to sign before all the information and checkboxes had even been completed. I signed because I believed the cancellation was finally being processed. After that, I was told my $1,000 down payment would be refunded. First I was told a check would be mailed to me. Later I was told the money would instead be refunded to my card. As of today, I am still waiting for my money. I have called multiple times, and every time I receive a different answer or no meaningful response at all. This has been the worst car-buying experience of my life. I feel that because I was a first-time buyer in the United States with limited credit history, I was treated as an easy customer to pressure into signing documents I did not fully understand. Instead of honesty and transparency, I experienced broken promises, changing explanations, delays, and a complete lack of accountability. I have completely lost trust in this dealership. In my opinion, they care more about getting customers to sign contracts than about treating them fairly and honestly. If my refund is not returned by tomorrow, I will file formal complaints with my bank, the California Department of Motor Vehicles, the California Department of Consumer Affairs, the California Attorney General's Office, and every other appropriate consumer protection agency. I will also continue updating this review until my refund is returned and this matter is fully resolved. Please learn from my experience: never rely on verbal promises, read every page of every contract carefully, and do not sign any document that has not been fully completed. I hope no one else has to go through what I experienced.

I took a friend here to see a car they had posted online. Upon arrival I was slightly skeptical as…read moreanyone would be when going to a small local used car lot. However the process was great! The owners and workers all had a great relationship and there was absolutely no pressure or tactics used to sell cars. My friend ended up buying the car and I myself bought one as well even though I had no plans to as I enjoyed the way they do business and they had a car on the lot in great shape with low miles that replaced what I currently had. The entire process was easy and they took care of all of the paperwork. Probably the quickest transaction I've done at any car dealer including the big guys and we bought two cars at the same time on separate transactions. Highly recommend to anyone looking to buy a reliable used car from a reputable and honest local business.

I bought a used 2006 Toyota Tundra with ~$141K miles. Just a tip for anyone who is buying a car that old - you're going to spend more money to get it up to speed - things wear out no matter what with time. Don and his wife Leyna are a wonderful duo - Don clearly takes a lot of pride in the way he runs his business and Leyna is bright, easy to communicate with and very personable. After purchasing the car, I had noticed issues with the rear door lock actuators and brought it up to Don and Leyna. Honestly, it didn't even occur to me to check because you just assume they worked fine. They were very gracious and offered to replace and fix the issues at a fraction of what it cost me. I think this is extremely generous considering the car was bought "As-is" and they had no responsibility to fix it after I drove it off the lot. I think it speaks volumes of how Don wants his customers to perceive their experience at his dealership and knows that it's a small investment for a continuing relationship. This review is NOT intended to advertise or promise anything on their behalf, but my experience with them was great and they definitely earned this 5 start review. I will definitely keep them in mind in the future should I need another car!
