Among the egregious disappointments was an incorrect optometric Rx and wrong measurement for my progressive lenses. The frames I selected with staff encouragement were too large for my face and rest painfully on my cheeks. Additionally and again unfortunate for me the lab would not allow me to select an alternate frame, although they had to replace the original lenses due to the incorrect eye exam prescription. Staff at Ebright would not advocate for me. Their advocacy could possibly have been helpful in changing the labs decision given the wrong prescription and need to replace the glasses. So, my ultimate outcome is a pair of every expensive glasses that I cannot wear because they rest uncomfortably and painfully on my cheeks. Which, by the way may, over time cause bruising on my face. I highly recommend that you avoid this business and select from other options, with positive reviews.

Don't let that discourage you. He's there to do one thing. To say that Dr. Nguyen exam was thorough and meticulous, is almost an understatement. He kept me in that chair until there was obviously no better numbers we could get. I have never had an eye examine that painstaking (and i'm 74, so I've had a few). I had my eye exam and a pair of eye glasses made here one month back. The Rx was very accurate and…read moremy vision with the new pair of glasses is close to perfect again. The optometrist did a very good job. She performed a complete eye check including eye pressure and peripheral vision. The glasses themselves were cut very good. Both sides produces clear and accurate vision. I have had an experience with another lense maker in the past where one side had a cut that was slightly off causing me to have a dizzy feeling after wearing them for long periods of time. Mendoza accepts medi-cal, VSP, and other plans. Staff always answers the phone when I call, so just ask them. Since my plan expires at the end of the year, I was able to use portion of my plan to get new sun shades for the summer and I was able to find a pair that my plan fully paid for! Other places you will notice won't even answer the phone but not here at Mendoza. 5 stars!
