    Mini Panzarotti with Cheese
    Mark K.

We stopped by for a late dinner with my brother-in-law and his wife. They're pretty much regulars and hosted her 50th birthday party there. We had a drink at the bar waiting for the rest of our party to arrive; the bartenders are fast and friendly, the drinks are reasonably priced. Having moved away to Florida, we don't get panzarotti, so I jumped at the Mini Panzarotti ($5.95) I got five good size balls of crispy fried dough filled with plenty of cheese and a little sauce. They were delicious and served with a small side of sauce for dipping. I also had an order of their 10 Buffalo Wings ($9.00) with their Garlic Hot Sauce - it was a nice twist on the usual buffalo sauce. It was hot but had a great blast of garlic. It was served with celery and blue cheese. Everyone else raved about their food as well. They're nothing fancy, a nice locals bar with good food.

The mild wings were extra crispy and full of flavor, and the blue cheese that came with them was great. The nicely plated chicken cheesesteak egg rolls were really good too, and I loved that they use Liscio's seeded bread for their sandwiches. It's soft and fluffy on the outside with that perfect crunch on the outside of the chicken. Their hot honey sauce had a nice mix of sweet and spicy, and the fries were cooked perfectly. Drinks were made well, and my cosmo looked great and tasted even better. The chicken quesadilla was stuffed with fillings, though I wasn't really into the cream cheese on the side. Prefer sour cream. The salsa it came with was fresh and flavorful. Service was quick and friendly, but the atmosphere felt a little awkward. There wasn't any music playing, just TVs with an NBA on with commercials which made it a bit too quiet & odd. The pool tables seemed to be the main draw since people were playing constantly. Overall, great food and drinks with friendly service. I just wish there was some background music or a livelier vibe inside because the food alone makes it worth coming back for.

We ordered Hot honey wings and dry wings with the sauce on the side. Wings were small and over cooked. Not much more to say. We ordered loaded fries which were delicious and the kids devoured them. No one touched the short rib fries as the meat looked very dry. Petal onions were good and a nice alternative to onion rings. My husband said the longhots were okay. Oh and last but not least was the pizza that was not cooked all the way through. The young lady who took my call was very nice but won't be back.

The bank rolls, dry rub wings, and whiskey wings were absolutely amazing--perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Service was friendly and fast, which made the experience even better. Even made my own a few times, thinking I had it all figured out. But then I walked into The Bank Bar and had my mind completely rearranged. The place itself? Perfect. It's got that old-school, no-nonsense vibe with just enough charm to let you know they actually care. You walk in, and it's like the place has been waiting for you--dark wood, a little history on the walls, and that unmistakable smell of something incredible happening in the kitchen. The kind of place where you know, deep down in your soul, that good things are about to happen. And then came the sandwich. This roast pork wasn't just good. It wasn't just great. It was the best roast pork sandwich I have ever had in my life. No exaggeration. First bite--boom--instant revelation. The pork was juicy, packed with deep, rich flavor, and shredded just right, like it had been slow-cooked by someone who truly understands patience. The roll? Oh man, that perfect balance of crusty and soft, holding everything together without stealing the show. Then you get hit with the garlicky, herb-loaded bite of the greens--sautéed just enough to still have a little bite, but soft enough to melt into everything else. And the cheese? Sharp provolone, the kind that makes your taste buds wake up and pay attention. I sat there, sandwich in hand, just nodding to myself like some kind of roast pork prophet. Every bite was a reminder that this is how it's supposed to be done. It wasn't a meal. It was a life experience. If you haven't been to The Bank Bar yet, fix that immediately. Order the roast pork. Thank me later.

Very tasty and yes it and the bacon filled me up. The rice said it was a coconut rice. Well it is. I tasted in the first bite and it was pleasantly different. Service was great just soft spoken. Too many years around construction equipment other things that don't help hear in a restaurant. I would love to come back in the evening so I could enjoy one of their list of adult beverages.
