I gotta say that this place has the best wings around. They're even better pricing than anywhere in a 25 mile radius. I have gotten their quesadilla, which was OK. Their fries are really good with the seasoning on them. Their beer is always cold and crisp. Their panzaroti bites are super good, and never overcooked . They actually know how to pour a beer unlike places like chickie and Pete's, who allows it to continuously pour until the foam is gone serving flat beer. The sad thing is is people don't realize the difference between a terrible beer like that and having a beer from a bar that actually knows how to pour beer. I have ordered beer many times and I have never had. It spilled all over the place like a lot of bars do serve you a dirty alcohol covered cup. It's the same girls all the time when I go there and they're all really nice. It's really hard to find a nice bar. There are a lot of places with bars, but they're overpriced and their drinks are crap but not here. I go for basically the same thing each week and each week it is consistent in quality taste. The service is consistent. They don't charge you for to go food like the jug handle does in Maple Shade. They don't charge you to use credit like several bars in the area do. I just really enjoy going here. And I do recommend people all the time to go here. They also have a big parking lot, but no matter where you park. You're not too far from the front door. read more

Ambiance here is not attractive. Place looks like it has not been renovated in over 40+ years. Very depressing look inside and a musty smell. This is definitely a DIVE bar for the locals in the area. Service was cool, just not as attentive as one would expect. Friend ordered a beer special that was a 1.00 between 10am - 2pm as posted on the wall. Instead of honoring it, they cleaned the board wiping off the special. I ordered the short rib grill cheese. It was a short rib that was short the rib and just had tons of cheese on marble bread. It has no flavor or real taste. If you go here, do NOT order this, it was not good at all. All in all, i give it a 1 star, because there was nothing good and it needs a lot of work. read more

Ahh the nugget. This is one of the only bars I've ever been to where it legitimately feels like time stands still. And I mean that in the best way. This place is 100% old school vibes. At 945am on a Sunday I got the last seat at the bar...and the bar easily seats I'd say 60 or so. I think they open at 7am daily and maybe close at 2/3 am...but honestly I'm not sure they ever close. If customers lived here it wouldn't shock me. Notorious for their wings because the sauce is outstanding. They serve breakfast. And my scrambled egg, cheesesteak, pork roll sandwich with cheese on a long roll is exactly what I needed in my life. The nugget is like an airport bar in the middle of Berlin. I called to order 4 orders of jumbo wings and the woman who answered the phone told me that Golden Nugget doesn't do that. We can order 40 regular wings, but not 40 jumbo wings...I dont understand why not. Does Golden Nugget not have 40 jumbo wings to make? What if 4 separate people ordered jumbo wings? The size on the wings are a disgrace, the owner should be ashamed of himself. I didn't think chickens could be so small. And DON'T order wings for takeout, they're even smaller (if that's even possible). Otherwise, the wings are very good. The service is spotty at best, expect to wait during moderately busy times. I sat at the bar next to the opening and was not even looked at for half an hour. The wait staff kept walking by and didn't look to see if my glass was empty. They may be understaffed at times. I got lost in the neighborhood, remembered this dive bar famous for its wings was somewhat nearby and stumbled in on a Sunday. Soooo many questions. It's just about noon - there are only about 5 people in the bar and about 34 cars in the parking lot. Lots of people must have had a good time last night. I walked in and I felt like every head swiveled to look at me in the darkness of your classic dive bar - broken stools, loud country music, single men nursing beers spaced two seats apart, and an overly friendly bar mistress with a big bust, skinny legs and a huge smile. She introduced me to everyone who worked behind the bar and then rang a bell loudly just to make sure everyone knew I was a virgin - at least a virgin to the bar. She asked what kind of beer I wanted, and I said the kind that came in a Diet Coke glass, and she laughed so hard that I laughed at her laughing. She recommended their traditional wings and yup, now I know why everyone loves them. Are they huge? No, but they are meaty. And crispy. And the sauce was the perfect combination of hot and spicy without being too hot or two spicy. Dang, I might just have found my favorite dive bar. read more

VIOLENT BAR. One of the worst bars ive ever been to. On June 23rd 2025 I was assaulted in the parking lot by bar employees and their friends. Shoved to ground and kicked. I was a regular here a few times. At first they were nice to me but after a while weren't as kind. I was always patient when waiting for drinks and polite. Always tipped %15-20 percent. The bar was always packed 7 days a week, and weekend nights was standing room only. I always would uber there and home to be safe. The food wasnt that good. "Best wings in area"? Nope!!! First night i went a fight broke out 2 seats away from me. People would smoke weed right outside the door. The night I got assaulted I had only had a few drinks and the bartender who wears a backward hat thought I had an attitude with him. He proceeds to throw my drink in my face and tells me to get my shit and leave. I paid my tab and ordered an Uber. Before I know it some guy approaches me and says "if you don't leave now its not gonna end well for you." I get up and walk out, one of the bar backs and friends follows me outside and starts getting in my face cursing at me. I told them I was waiting on my ride. Next thing I know im on the ground being kicked. They ran back inside right as police pulled up. Like cowards. I explained what happened and they waited with me till my ride arrived. I called the next day to politely ask the names of who assaulted me because I was going to file a police report. Manager gets on phone and curses me out. The next day I made a report to police and am currently working to file a lawsuit for assault. This place is horrible. I did research and in 2011 a guy burned the place down after argument with staff. Another time they called police on a war vet who's Uber never showed up. Its just disgusting who works there. This place should be shut down for good. Lawsuit will be filed soon and their actions will be prosecuted. So best advice, dont go here. They only care about their regular buddies. read more

The food is good. The service is very nice and friendly. We enjoy stopping on a Friday night, grabbing a sandwich and a beer, watching a ball game on one of their many TVs and listening to a live band weekly while watching the patrons enjoying line dancing. read more

My husband heard this place had good wings so he wanted to check it out. Well let me start by saying this is a DIVE bar! Some are good, some aren't. First is the smell of cigarettes. It is overpowering, probably because it's been the same since smoking was allowed inside and everyone smokes by the door. So it's dark, dirty, and smells like old cigarette smoke. Sit down and this ugly crappy table, that was wet because it was just wiped( but with who knows what). No beer list, and the waitress could care less about letting me know what's on tap, so I had a water!!! My husband ordered wings and short rib fries. My first 2 bites of the short rib was a mouthful of fat that I had to spit in my napkin. The fries tasted awful, they are definitely frying in dirty oil, you can see and taste it. I love good hot bar fries! These were terrible and I know because my husband didn't like either and he is not picky like me. Now for my grilled chicken sandwich. NOT GRILLED! It's PAN FRIED until it's like a piece of rubber, sitting on top of a stale brioche bun. I couldn't even bite the chicken. The plastic forks they give you are good if you're eating apple sauce. I removed the chicken. Ripped it into bite size pieces with my fingers. Because who gives a shit in that place. I ate the rubber chicken because I was starving. Normally i would have sent it back, but I didn't feel like dealing with the waitress, she wasn't the friendliest to begin with. Never again, I definitely do not recommend this place. read more

I heard a lot about this place on social media. We were in the area so we figured we would give it a try. It was good. We ordered the Golden Nugget Fries, 10 wings mild and the crab balls. Everything such a good taste. We weren't disappointed. The place is not the fanciest as its more of a bar than restaurant, but it was expected. Decor doesn't deter me from going somewhere. If I lived closer or if was back in the area, I would definitely go back. I know they are supposed to have a huge outdoor area, but it was cold out so not sure if it was even open, but maybe next time I might go when I could check it out. read more

I just got takeout from the Golden Nugget Tavern. Here the service was really fast it took approximately 10 minutes maybe less. Also their staff were really nice and caring. They apologized for the wait which was only 10 minutes. The restaurant was very entertaining enjoyable and loud, they even had live music. Golden Nugget gets 5 stars from me as it's my type of bar. Dive bar with live country music and incredible wings. Years ago I met the owners through a summer sports league and they are great people. Have been coming occasionally since then. The wings are so good they're mentioned frequently in the NJ Wings Facebook group I'm a in. Indoors they have a pool table and a dance floor. The bar inside is big with lots of seats. They also have a really nice patio bar that is cash only. I've always been treated very well and have never had an issue with service here. They have $2 PBR drafts and some local IPA draft selections (including Brotherton IPA which we love). Wednesdays and Thursdays Nugget has all you can eat wings which I got last night. You can either get their wings or wing bites (little nuggets) and can alternate back and forth if you don't want all wings. If you're in the mood for really good wings and you're in the area I do recommend trying them out. The last time I ordered something other than wings from Nugget I got a chicken cheesesteak hoagie which I thought was good as well but the wings are top notch. read more
