For $28 I can buy 5 quarts of high mileage oil all day long. Hands down, the folks at Express Oil have consistently given me the best experience I have had in working with a garage. As a guy who lost his man card many years ago when it comes to fixing cars, I am clueless when it comes to repairs. This has often caused me much angst as i have had to worry about either getting ripped off, or subjected to a continual misdiagnosis of whatever is causing the newest noise. Luckily I found this incredible shop. The operation is excellent. The oil change side of the shop is run by Jessie, and I am always amazed at how well trained and friendly the crew is there. They are fast and make sure your car leaves better than it came in. Her positive and professional attitude is reflected in every employee there. The adjoining shop is run by Wayne. Wayne is an outstanding Service Manager. Everything you would want and expect when you bring a car in. He has consistently gone above and beyond I helping get me and my kids back on the road safely. He is honest, and knows his business, inside and out. What more could you want? Every technician and mechanic at the shop also know their stuff and show they care on every visit. With so many nightmare stories about mechanics and garages, it's really impressive to see how Wayne and Jessie run such a world class shop. This afternoon, I got a dashboard notification that my tire pressure was low. I pulled into the closest place which happened to be Express Oil Change and Tire Engineers. By the time I go there, the tire was completely flat. I knew it was only minutes until they closed their doors for the day, but they welcomed me in. They quickly addressed the issue and searched high and low to see if they had my tire in stock. Jesse the office location manager is excellent. She really went out of her way to make the experience as cautious as she possibly could (some employees were not with the program) and I didn't have to exit my car at any point - she took all of my details over the phone including mileage, VIN etc and at the end the cc info through the car window. Totally COVID safe, more expensive than I expected which is why it's 4 rather than 5 stars, and a really excellent customer experience. Jesse apologized for the long wait but candidly it wasn't bad at all. Employees - some wore masks but others did not. I brought two vehicles for oil change today and each time was "greeted" by a female service technician who attempted to get me to roll down my window and speak with her when she was without a mask. That didn't happen...I called the service manager and he pulled me right into a bay doing everything on the phone. Don't come during lunch time. This is the second time I've tried to come during my lunch break and honestly not even that busy. Was sitting up next for an oil change and was waiting over 15 mins and hadn't even gotten my service. This is very frustrating because I'm hoping this to be a fast in and out as many places are but would say this has started to dampen my relationship with express as they also add on time by telling/printing everything my car needs which I know is their job but I'm never going to get with them because of their prices. Like every other Express Oil Change & Tire that I've patronized, this is a great place to get your routine car work done. I used to go to the EOC&T on Holcomb Bridge on my lunch break when I worked in Roswell. Then I started using the location in Sandy Springs which was closer to my house. As part of an event for my women in engineering group, we visited this location for a tour and explanation of routine maintenance to be done. The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough in their presentations and explanations. So this is now my go-to place for oil changes and tire rotations. For oil changes, they'll have you in and out so quickly that you don't even leave your car. They do a safety check for lights, will replace your filters and wipers as needed, always showing it to you with their advice and making sure you understand what they'll be charging you for. When the technician noticed that my tires could use a rotation on my last visit, he asked if I wanted it now or later. Once I said I wanted it right away, I walked to the clean waiting room while he transferred my car to the other bay. Within about 15 minutes it was taken care of and I was checking out. They notified me of things that might be an issue that they'll make a note to check on during my next visit, making sure that I was aware, but not alarmed. Hands down, best oil change place around. I've been to several other quick service places and always end up having some sort of hassle. I've been to the dealerships where I end up wasting 2-3 hours for an oil change. Not here. You are in and out in 5-10 minutes and they are honest with things you need, might need soon, and the condition of your car. It's right off hwy 9 in Alpharetta, across from La Parilla and Hudson Grill. I've never had to wait for an oil change, either which is nice. The prices may be a little higher than some other cheap places, but it's totally worth it not to be d*cked around. On Tuesday they have $5 off for ladies, which also helps. Dropped by for an oil change, hadn't even seen previous Yelp reviews but was in the area. Sure glad I did happen upon this location! It's right near my honey and i's favorite pizza place, Campanias, near intersection of Main Street and Windward. Pulled up and the guy greeted me right away. I left keys in the car and went up the steps to their waiting room. This location is larger than it looks. The waiting room was huge, and chairs were comfy. Lots of wasted space though, they could easily throw some couches in there and tables but once you see how fast their service is, I guess it's not needed. They have bathrooms off to the side and water, plus a TV as well. Guy came in and asked what oil my car took (didn't know myself), and I asked him if they replace light bulbs (front left light was out) and he said yup, that's part of their inspection too. He left me customer sheet to fill out and a lady came back to take it. I swear I was only in that lobby 8 minutes before he came back and said my car was ready. Super fast! They did an inspection on my car, replaced light bulb and oil all in less than 12 minutes. Service was friendly, and complete change from taking my car to Honda and them tell me something is wrong with my car every single time I go. He pointed out my tires might be due soon to be changed but that was it. Basically, no pushy salespeople here! The cost was a bit higher than normal oil changes but WORTH it! After my AC started blowing hot (of course on the first hot day of the year) I called around to compare pricing on an AC service and oil change. The man I spoke to on the phone at Express Oil Change was super knowledgeable and friendly, and was willing to fit me in even though they were closing just 45 minutes from when I called. When I got there they immediately checked my car out, performed a super fast oil change, and found that my car was low on freon. I was in their waiting room, which was super clean, had a Keurig and was nice and cool, and was in and out in maybe 30 minutes! Their pricing was extremely reasonable and the men were all super nice. Definitely will go here from now on for oil changes and other services! I recommend them 100%. I also really appreciated the fact that they didn't try and take advantage of the fact that I'm a woman who doesn't know a ton about cars.
