I visited this Sam's Club location last Friday afternoon while I was in the area after work to pick up a few items and grab a pizza for dinner. One thing to note is that the parking lot is very congested. It's shared with several other businesses, and compared to other locations, this one feels a bit small and crowded. The staff here is usually friendly, which I appreciate. I ordered my pizza online ahead of time, which was very convenient. When I arrived, I was able to skip the long line and simply show my order number to the associate at the side for pickup. As for the pizza, it had plenty of cheese, which was great. However, it was a bit heavy on the sauce. I also think they could improve their menu by offering more variety--options like cheese and sausage or a pepperoni and sausage combo would be great additions alongside their current selections. Overall, my shopping experience was good. I was able to use Scan & Go, which made things much quicker and easier, and ordering food ahead was a plus. One thing I'd love to see is the option to purchase the same hot dogs they serve at the food court for home use. read more

I personally really love Sam's club. The aisles are all organized by numbers and have general category and names on them unlike Costco!! The parking set up is awful and it's really hard to get in and out during rush hours and the weekends. I've never been to their gas station so I can't speak on that. I love that they have healthy snack options too and I love that they've stocked Drizzilicious. I destroyed this bag in 3 days haha. I did buy some cold medicine and the lady at self check out must've been new or something because she kept punching in my birthday on my ID and could not get it to pass clearance until another lady had to come and help her navigate the system. read more

They aren't helpful at finding anything in the store. I honestly enjoy shopping here... only through delivery though. The stores are always crowded and frustrating to deal with, and their produce lasts only a few days before molding. Shelf stable products and frozen or wholesale goods are better choices for the savings you expect. read more

The gas station has a really bad set-up when it comes to entering then having to pick a lane. There is a curbed planter at the entrance you have to go around one side or the other. If you go left, you can get in the first, maybe second lane without a lot of maneuvering. Same for the right if you choose to go to the right. But, you cannot drive straight into a lane. Everyone is jockeying for position and its just a cluster you-know-what if you're trying to get to one of the center lanes. This is not my regular go-to Sam's Club. I use other Sam's Clubs closer to where I live. So I know by comparison this location is one that could have been laid out much better. Whenever I am in this part of the valley and am in need of gas, I dread having to go to this particular location. But, 1) at significantly lower prices and 2) having to justify the membership fee, it is an inconvenience I just gut thru. read more

So who said that digital everything is better I have found so many issues with this whole decision that someone came up with on their own. F.Y.I. Probably should of kept cards around just in case!!!! I did a return and was given a e-gift card without being asked if that was okay. Then I proceeded to customer service to ask for an actual gift card so I could use it at a gas pump. The fact that you can't fully accommodate your members with manual input is ridiculous or not make it easy to pay with paper is also. Very Disappointed with Customer Service Waited in a long line at the Sam's Club food court to order a large pizza, only to be told at the window that they weren't making whole pizzas right now. No signs, no announcements just a waste of time. It's incredibly frustrating to stand in line for nothing, especially when a simple notice could've saved everyone the trouble. I'm kind of baffled by the negative reviews on here. We have been Sam's members for a few years now, and really feel we get good value from our membership. The warehouse is well stocked and laid out, and we save so much here on groceries and gas. Total sticker shock when you go to a regular grocery store and pay the crazy prices of inflation. This Sam's location is our go-to for regular gas fill ups... Just wish they had more gas pumps than they do. We usually come for gas first thing in the morning when they open, or later at night, shortly before close. It helps you avoid the longer lines. We also enjoy using our membership on the road for gas and for other things. Our experience with ordering for pick up has been good to great, and the same with online shopping where they ship it to you (free with Plus membership). I have ordered several things for gifts this way. That really comes in handy at Christmas time. Great clothing values online! We love being able to use our Sam's cash as we earn it, instead of waiting for a once a year redemption opportunity (like Costco). That is wonderful! Having their credit card is a must, the 5% cash back on gas purchases alone pays for the membership and then some. 3% on dining out, and cash back on warehouse purchases, too. Members Mark products are great, we've never had an issue with any of them. Quality is as good or better than the national brands. I can always find what I need here. I shop here about twice a month and it's a big haul!! If I run out of something I usually end up making a couple of smaller trips to the store for those items throughout the month. So basically I'm here every week it seems like LoL I have 2 growing kids. Their school schedule is very long daily. They need two snacks per day, plus their hearty lunch, on top of all the water, sugar free juice boxes and Gatorade... it adds up to huge hauls for them. They are now also in after school clubs, which they need another water and snack for. So you see, this is certainly worth every trip. read more

purchased an auto battery from sams club 2 years ago this month with a 3 year complete replacement warranty. Brought the dead battery in and they guy tests it and says, we need to charge it and if its still bad we will replace it but not with the same quality battery if you want to wait 1 1/2 hours. I guess they don't want to honor their warranty so beware. Sam's Walmart and many others are NOT standing behind their warranty. read more

When I lived in Illinois, I used to buy my frozen shrimp at Costco, because they were much closer than our Sam's, but now that we live here, the Avondale Sam's is very close, so I have bought their frozen shrimp twice now, and both times it has been very bad. The first time I thought maybe it was a fluke so I tried again and it was the same. Both times every single shrimp had some freezer burn, and, although it appeared, that the shrimp were split and had the poop vein removed, over half the shrimp still had dirt that I had to clean myself. I went the distance and drove to Costco yesterday and the frozen shrimp were thawed today and were pink, clean, and perfect! What's more, they were less expensive than Sam's. Never again! read more

I ordered an item for $299 online. I needed to return the item. I had called sams club and they told me I can return in store or via usps. So I load up my two heavy boxes and go to my local sams. I get to the counter and tell the customer service rep what that I need to make a return. She tells me I need to have a printed receipt in order to return it... No one told me this, so I asked if I can AirPrint at their store or if she can print my receipt. She tells me no sorry... So now I'm leaving with my two boxes and I get questioned at the exit. Me and my wife are always in the club....Sams Club. Sometimes on the weekend, we even close down the club. We go to Sams Club so often that the staff knows our names because they can read our names from our Sams Club card. Seriously, parking is always good and the lines for gas aren't as long as the other warehouse. The prices are pretty much the same as the other warehouse too. We actually have both warehouse cards and we end up using Sams Club more because it's less crowed. I enjoy using the check out app because now I just get my items, scan it and leave. The receipt is saved on the app so you don't accidentally misplace the receipt. read more
