Newer member here: I've visited a few times anf each time has been a super easy experience. Although I wish they had a bit more of variety when it comes to their pet section. The store is extremely clean and well just and it is easy to find an employee if you ever need assistance. Their app is also mega easy to use. The scan and go feature is by far the most convenient feature. I literally can scan and skip the checkout line. So far my membership experience has been a good one! read more

Shoppers be very careful when doing self check out. You will be asked if you want to use this credit card for future purchases. Guess what! You will also be signing up for auto annual renewal. It's all in the fine print. I asked for a full refund and to speak to supervisor and was on hold for 30+ min. then trans-fered to an operator and hung up on. A VERY DECEPTIVE PRACTICE. No better way of explaining it other than lack of competence from the staff. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I took the time to enter a curbside order three days in advance only to find out 30 minutes before they closed after the order was already over two hours late that it wouldn't be ready, but I was more than welcome to come in and shop at myself.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had ordered over 100 dinner rolls and six fruit and veggie trays. One of the most disappointing Sam's Club we have been too. The layout was very confusing and very tight. There is only a small entrance and exit available and there is so much congestion in those spots. Top it off with the food court being placed by the exit causing a big line when trying to leave. Place wasn't that clean either. Wouldn't visit this Sam's Club in Holland. read more

First time buying tires at Sam's Club. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was attentive, courteous and polite.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Different tire brand were explained and I choose the one that fit my needs. After getting several quotes Sam's offered the best deal with their end of year sale. The tire department is kept very clean and orderly. My only complaint was insulation took longer than expected. Well..I did like this place but I'm canceling my plan and going with Costco. Every time I get gas sams takes 100.00 plus whatever i use in gas and puts a hold on it. Sams club pick up in holland toledo is terrible. I ordered Tuesday for Friday pickup for 1to 2 pm. My order was delayed for some reason. I called their customer service multiple times and no answer, and it kept hanging up. Customers showed up after me and were picking up their items. I was still waiting for mine to go off delay. After 45 minutes of people of coming and going, we decided to cancel the order. Ordering 3 days ahead of time, you would think y order would be ready. I've been to several Sams. this one is the WORST. read more

Many many years ago I liked Sam's club and then it just seemed like a giant Walmart all of a sudden . The products weren't great and I left it behind. Costco came along and was new and shiny. It's my opinion Costco has better quality food products and definitely better brand liqueur. Sam's recently sent me a free membership and I'll say it is newly remodeled and the products seem to be coming back to the better side. I find more clothing and kitchen supplies I like at Sams than Costco. Costco still and probably always will have the ultimate return policy. They stand behind their products and that cannot be beat. This store has gone from a two to a 3.5 star IMO. It'll do if you need a box store on this side of town.... Bonus, the soft pretzels in the snack area are tasty and those prices are great. I've taken my car in for service 3 times, and the automotive staff are just the worst. Even on the phone they always present dry, rude, and irritable. I would not recommend them at all. read more

Sam's needs to have all the cars go one way to pump gas. It is hard to get out after finishing as there are cars everywhere waiting to get gas, both sides. I thought that with the longer hoses the problem would be solved. There is always someone outside that should be directing traffic. The store is great but gas pumps awful! read more

Made an early morning trip to Sam's today and had a great experience. I was there early so they weren't very busy, but as I walked the aisles everything was clean, organized, and well stocked. As every Sam's I have been in has a different layout, not everything is grouped in the same areas. I was able to ask to employees questions and was immediately directed to where I needed to go. That doesn't always happen when I go warehouse shopping so it was much appreciated. When getting ready to checkout, there were several of us in line and everyone ahead of me had overfilled carts or two carts. The head cashier called up two cashiers to open additional register and we got out very fast and efficiently. Like getting directions, this doesn't always happen so when it did it was appreciated. Sam's does have self checkouts but they require you to use a debit or credit card. I prefer to pay cash or I would have used them. I do like the little diner they have. Nathan's hot dogs are so tasty and they have the special with a 32oz drink. I do think their individual chips are overpriced. When you use a warehouse club you can save a lot of money if you shop smart and get the things you know you are going to use as to not let things go to waste. Their sizes and multipacks are different then you will get at traditional department or grocery stores. Use a calculater to find cost per ounce, pound, or unit and make good choices. My bill today was 78.71 and by my esitmate if I shopped at a non warehouse I would have paid 110-120.00. May or may not seem like much but over the course of a year it definitely adds up and pays for the cost of a membership 15-20 times annually. read more

Their fruit was actually extremely fresh for the winter it was a nice surprise! They have really good prices and a great selection especially for family meals ! Can also find some limited edition options here that you wouldn't see in the normal grocery store ! Great membership price I highly recommend! And the best part is CHEAPER GAS ‼ read more

Sam's Club needs to redo the fuel pump area. They need to redo the parking lot so that vehicles travel one way to the pumps and exit the other end. They should use Costco in Perrsburg as their model. As it stands it is a total cluster on busy days. Someone is going to get hurt. read more

The gas station at Sam's Club has reasonable prices so since they do not accept cash I buy a gift card. Being on a budget I load so much on the card. Went to use my Sam's Club Gift Card at the food court. She couldn't complete the sale. All of the sudden one of the other employees says We can't except Gift Cards anymore! Cash or Credit cards that's it! I went to Walmart right behind Sam's Club and bought 4 regular size nathans hotdogs their with my SAM'S CLUB GIFT CARD!!!!! First they replaced the picnic tables for chairs that aren't set very far away from the tables so for some people it is very uncomfortable. Now THIS! I love shopping at Sams Club . I find there members mark brand excellent. I always am greeted with friendly workers that are always helpful. They recently changed things around which always takes some getting used to but it was well over due for an update. I like Sams way better then Costco and highly recommend it over Costco. There prices are very competitive, I shop there at least once a week. I also get all my prescriptions there as well and find the prices to be way less then anywhere else. I have also ordered cakes from the bakery and never a disappointment there either . All in all I'm a Sams club girl I guess, lol it's my go to for everything! read more

Purchased a TV from this location upon receiving my membership. After I purchased it they called for someone to help me put it in my car as I am 4'7. Nobody came after 20 min and luckily a guy pulled in beside me as he saw I was about to drop the tv in an attempt to get it in myself. Couple weeks later due to the lady putting in my information wrong my account was cancelled. Called customer service and the gave me attitude about their mistake. Moving to Costco read more

I ordered a two tier chocolate cake with white frosting for my son's birthday party. The bakery accommodated my requests. It came in a large box, which made it easy to transport. My guests kept asking me where I got my cake. It was so beautiful. I highly recommend using them. Their customer service was excellent! read more

Sam's Club is a nice place to shop also. Although in my opinion Costco is better I will continue to shop here still.

I talked with meat cutter there and made it very clear I did not want any rib eye steaks cut over 7/8-1 inch thick nor any steaks over a pound, for no one can eat that much and it gets thrown away. He assured me he understood my directions...So, I purchased a 15 pound ribeye $148.00 ,and he cut it into 11 steaks.?? what an idiot,,, every steak is nearly 1 1/2 pounds and almost 1 3/4 inch thick.. That's nearly $5 thrown away of every steak.$55 in the trash,,,because of your poorly educated apprentice meat cutter,, SAMS Club, this is the second time your meat cutters have done this to me in the past few months, I will be buying all my meats at Costco for now on, this idiot should be fired!! I know any kid over 14 years of age can tell the difference from 1 inch cut of meat to a 1 1/2 inch cut of meat and if he does it everyday, he had to have been laughing at me as I walked away, knowing each steak was 1 1/2 pounds,, but it all comes back to you Sams Club Management, I'll never buy high end quality meats from your store again. read more
