I have not been inside a Sam's Club in a decade or more. I cancelled my membership years ago as I simply didn't need to buy in bulk and I found the place "cold" and impersonal. My wife's job gifted her a membership so we went today to give it a try. Lo and behold, I was actually quite impressed. The staff actually interacts with customers and I could actually find employees to ask questions of. They gave this cool machine the squeezes orange juice while you wait and the OJ is incredible. The man running it was pleasant and outgoing. The meat and seafood area is incredible as are the premade means section and the frozen foods. Even the bakery is solid. The holiday aisle in the middle was awesome and really had some first rate Christmas decorations. The woman we checked out with was friendly and helpful. The receipt checker heading out the door turned out to be my neighbor so that was fun. We got to chat for a second. I have not spoken to her in a year or more. I even bought myself a hog dog at their snack bar. Also a fun little thing to do. I used to do that when my kids were children. The parking kinda sucks and the quagmire near the front of the store when entering and exiting is really ugly. They really ought to rethink that in some way. We will definitely shop here for the next year and see how it all goes. read more

Absolute chaos in this joint. Like imagine the holiday rush, but everyone thinks it's your fault. That's the level of madness in here. And it's not just shoppers, either, this place is so poorly aligned and organized that they had video game systems in the books, and along the front of electronics. Arcade machine busted and not working, and candy just toppled over. As for help, no one was around. It was like they opened the store with just cashiers. Even asking one of them what was going on they just shrugged as if it was not their problem. read more

So unbelievably rude. I have had service from the same individual at this pharmacy before. And has never been good. This particular time was probably the worst. I walked up there before I could say anything she says, do you need something in a very offputting tone as if she would rather be anywhere but there. When it was time to pay, the machine wasn't taking the car just right and she aggressively said do it now. Stapled all the information to the bag and pushed it towards us. Always have horrible encounters with this person, but this time is particularly worse. The fact someone like this would even be hired, for position where you see people all day and all you do is talk to people is beyond me. I really wanted to like this place because they offer a different selection of drinks than Costco but the employees make it impossible. Every time I have had to go to the customer service desk, I stand around waiting for someone to show up. And then they are rude on top of it. There are no employees to ask questions. The samples are not served at proper temperatures but at least most of those employees are friendly. Then there is checking out. There are no employees up front to help nor are there actual cashiers. Walmart doesn't pay me to check out my own groceries nor are they paying me in a place where a membership fee is required to do anything but shop. Hire some employees!!!! There was one employee once I spoke with who was incredibly helpful. She went well out of her way to answer my questions. However, that one employee is not sufficient to overcome the numerous other bad experiences. read more

Sam's Club Tire & Battery Center + Excellent service + Fast + Friendly and professional + Accurate time estimate, 45 mins to fix a flat and balance / rotate all 4 tires I brought in my car after having a 3 year old tire go flat. I had recently put on the spare and all of my tools were scattered in the back of my car. Sam's club staff fixed the flat, rotated the tires, and nearly stowed my spare and tools back into the car, which I hadn't expected or asked for. Excellent staff and service, they went above and beyond. It was also $0 since I purchased the original tires at Sam's. I can't see myself going anywhere else for tires in the future. read more

I get delivery once a week. Delivered within 7 minutes with v. Courteous drivers who always bring in my groceries and stack my drinks and bulk paper in the garage. Twice my husband and I have purchased a rotisserie chicken fron Sams Club on south wadsworth. Both chickens have been under cooked...clearly pink and bloody. Both times I have tried to call Sams club, only to have the phone ring Endlessly....not Even a voice mail. I am a Registered Dietitian and am very well versed in food safety. SC is awesome! I've been a member here for a while, and maybe, only had 1-2 bad experiences. They surveyed me, and I asked for more organic products, next, thing I know they had a bunch. The people working here are much happier then Costco. If I had to choose, it's Sam's Club all day, plus they gave me credit I can use at Walmart. So, I never have to pay for anything that day. Also, if you like all beef Hot Dogs. they just offered members a lower price with drink! They get a a lot of business in the area. read more

I only do pickup but something to keep in mind is if you go later in the day it takes them a moment to come out, even if your the only car waiting, like up to ten minutes or so. Also, If you put in multiple orders you better tell them even though you check in with everything because they will either bring you out the first or the last of your order and not all the orders. So though the app says you can add to the order and process payment just don't expect it all to come out together you still need to verify ask and check. Overall though I'm happy with what I've received so far. read more

This Sam's CLUB is close to proximity to COSTCO, which I have not been as yet. So this is an added bonus in case, I can't decide where to go to get my BULK items. Sometimes, what COSTCO sell, Sam's Club did not, and vice verse. Greeted promptly from the Staffs as usual when you visit any Sam's Club. I head down to the ladies room, the ladies room was indeed kept clean. OK Sam's Club to me, since I was here during the weekday. Might explore further if the opportunity arises. You know, there's nothing wrong with this Sam's Club. It's Sam's Club, ya'll. I don't have a membership, but I sometimes tag along on my sister's shopping sprees and pick up a few things here and there. I typically feel really overwhelmed when I walk into big price clubs like this. The amount of food and product is just staggering. Sometimes it actually makes me feel...queasy...but I understand the need for buying in bulk. And it seems like 90% of the store is non-perishable kinds of goods, so it's probably unlikely that stuff goes bad. Really, I just start to feel a little like a small speck in the Sam's Club Universe when I wander around the towers of cereal, potato chips, big screen tv's, dvd's and dog food. (Remember that SNL skit where Jennifer Garner was a Wal Mart greeter and joked about them having their own weather patterns? Yeah. Like that.) Anyhow, I live in a 500 square foot apartment so there's really no need for me to get stuff in bulk, but once in a while I'll pick up a few things when it makes sense. Gets the job done! read more

Ordered the best cake I have ever had from this Sam's Club. The cake and the whipped icing were seriously delicious!! I am a cake snob so I promise you when I say it was the best, that it was just that! My other son turns 1 in June and I will definitely be using them for his cake as well. We ordered a minion cupcake cake and it look exactly the way it was as pictured. I would highly recommend this location for their cakes. I've been shopping at Sam's Club for over 20 years at the Littleton location. Seen employees come and go, management come and go, but this particular employee I have seen/heard be rude to multiple customers and employees. Every time I seen her at checkout i rather stand in an extra long line than deal with her rudeness and look giving. The other day when I went to Sam's for a few household items and I overheard one of the mangers Pat or Pam telling an employee that he should work harder and compare him to other employees. (I am assuming from the name dropping.) The gentleman couldn't be any older than 65/70. When I went to intervene she told me to mind my business. Regardless of any situation, business should be handled behind closed doors with other management and not in front of customers. From the conversation she seemed very comfortable telling him off, probably not her first time yelling at her subordinates. Terrible leadership skills and customer service!!!! read more

I would have given them a 0 star if possible after being treated like a criminal and humiliated by a staff member 'guarding' the exit. After shopping at Costco for most of my life, I know that you need to show your receipt when exiting, but sometimes extenuating circumstances call for an exception. At this location, they don't hire employees with enough smarts/personality/or overall good nature to tell the difference. The cashier rung up an item incorrectly, and both of our young, (2&4), kids were crying and needed to be taken outside while one of us stood in line at customer service with the receipt to get it corrected. The door 'guard', (not an actual guard but, instead, an old man with a horrible attitude), made eye contact with me several times while we were checking out in a lane near the exit and looked at us while I tried to hush my kiddos. I figured that since he saw us checking out and paying, (the store was not busy, unsurprisingly, and he did not have a line), that it would be a non-issue to exit the store with my sobbing children and take them to the car while my wife took care of the mistake made by the cashier at the register. Boy, was that a miscalculation. Upon approaching the exit, the man steps in front of my cart with the kids in it and asks for my receipt. I explained the situation and point out my wife standing in line with the receipt. He nastily replied that I couldn't leave without the receipt. At this point, I ask him to please just move out of my way, to which he grabs my cart and again starts talking down to me. I tell him to get his hand of my cart, (that my kids are in, mind you), and try to gently pull back away from him and he pulls the cart back close to him, now physically not letting us leave the store. I then threaten to call the police if he didn't let me out of the store to which he said he didn't give a damn. Now there are 3-4 people behind me waiting to get out, grumbling for him to just let me out with my kids, saying 'he's just trying to get his kids out of the store, his wife has the receipt', etc. I then look over to the managers at customer service and ask for their assistance. The manager came over, waved the receipt in his face and told him to get out of my way and let me out already. At this point, I was so angry and embarrassed for causing a scene that I was shaking. I took the kids out to the car, took some breaths, tried to calm down. After a minute, my wife came back to the car and I was still shaking. No one deserves to be treated this way. It was common sense. I went back inside, took a picture of the door guy, (I'll load it in the pics shortly), and then went to the customer service desk and asked for a full refund of our membership fee, to which they obliged. The managers were even embarrassed and to their credit did not even hesitate. We won't be going back to Sam's ever again. It was only our second visit! read more

I have been a Costco customer for years and was disappointed to find that Sam's was the only warehouse retailer within the city I moved to in 2015. I was told that Sam's paid the county to keep Costco out of the city. I went ahead a purchased a membership, primarily for the discount on gas. This Littleton location has a better selection of items, however, when my membership expires in July, I will purchase a Costco membership. read more

Very Disappointed in the bakery at Sams Club Littleton. Our wedding cake was suppose to be done 7/18 at 10am. At 10:30am we got a call from the bakery asking how we wanted our cake to look. My husband was on his way to pick them up already. When he got there the sheet cake was not even started yet. The employees were in the back complaining about us being upset. The cake we ordered did not match the description of the cake we got. They tried to fix it which cause the frosting to fall of on our way to the venue. I am very disappointed. This is the 1st review I have ever done. It is a big negative on Sam's club hiring policy. I was called on June 5th to come in for an interview. They told me in was hired. She said I would get an e-mail within 48 hours and if I didn't to call. So Sunday afternoon I called because there was no e-mail. I was informed that is rare and usually doesn't happen. So I was told to come in to check they had the right e-mail on file. I went in Monday morning, which it took them quite awhile to find my name in the computer. They finally did and said I needed to fill out the forms before they could go any farther. They sent me a test e-mail ( they had my e-mail correct ) and said they would request that the forms would be sent again and I should receive them that day. She also said she would call me the next day. Well, guess what, it is July 4th and I haven't received any e-mails or phone calls. This makes me realize that I went to the trouble of doing what I was asked and they must not care about really hiring people. This makes me sad to think how they must treat their employees. Fortunately the company I really wanted to work for called me for an Interview. I was hired, filled out everything on line there and started working Please be aware of this Sam's club if you are going in for an interview!!!! read more

Horrible management! Online ordering is a disaster. Called and talked to Kurt TWICE about last several online order issues. He could care less, nor knows anytime about the process. Good thing he is an UNPROFESSIONAL manager. Thought he hung up the phone after our call, heard him slamming me, stating to the online employee my problems, shrugged off the issues. Poor role model...and he is a manager!??? My dog could have done a better job. Frozen celery, half dead flowers, cheese/fruit tray CANCELLED because staff did not show after showing available and went to pick up order an hour before party. Was pulling cuties apart for the party and cutting apples. As a manager, get off your rear and WORK. Kurt was the second manager I spoke to about the last several orders showing placed on the app but never showing filled. Then order gets cancelled because, yes I needed to check my email for pickup instructions. Lol. I ordered through the app. Used to work but Kurt has no clue how to get it fixed nor gives a hoot about customer care/SERVICE. Oh then there is Lucas. Does he do anything other than walk around and do NOTHING to get paid?! Good luck trying to reach a regional manager. Simply put, avoid these horrible experiences. Kurt should be terminated immediately for ripping on a customer for him not doing HIS job. He comes across as an idiot. Hmmm...if he does it to one customer rest assured you are in this same group of he could not help you because he would be proven WRONG!!! Know it all attitude when practicing poor behavior to customers and employees. Needs some SERIOUS training for sure. They now have demo people that annoyingly try to grab you every time you get near their display. The quality of their items are the same as Walmart : The cheapest, lowest grade, sourced from out of the country ( mostly china ). Their employment tactics are the same as Walmart : Lower pay than similar warehouse stores, part time hours so they don't have to give benefits. Understaffed store, many times there will only be 2 lanes open during evening rush hours. If I could, I would demand a refund for my membership! read more

I called the auto department on Tuesday specifically to set up an appointment to get tires put on my car.... I was told it was a first come first serve basis and that was fine. I have no problem getting up early to make sure I'm taken care of... I showed up at 7. The employee, yes one, showed up at 7:15.... Then told me the rebate that I was promised two days ago expired.... I said fine whatever do the tires anyway, and 2 hours later I am still waiting for my car!!!! And I'm pretty sure he hasn't even got to the half way mark!!!! If I had any other way of leaving I would and if I hadn't already purchased the tires I would just go to discount, but to make a long story short, don't get your tires at SAMs!!! read more

Sam's Club is quite dangerous if you come unprepared so you better have an idea of what you're looking for before you get there! I find it's also helpful to have an idea of what you typically pay for normal sizes of things, because some items are a ripoff. Things I typically buy here include: Tom's of Maine toothpaste (you can get a pkg of 3 for around what 2 would cost anywhere else), Greek yogurt, raspberries (a giant container costs half of what a much smaller container usually costs at Soopers), salad mix, avocados, and ribs. Once upon a time, I bought a big bag of quinoa at a fantastic price (as in, exponentially cheaper than the grocery store!) and now I can't find it anymore. Every once in a while, I make the mistake of wandering aimlessly and as a result I end up with some crazy quantities of things. Case in point: apparently my stomach recently decided I can eat 9 lbs of oatmeal. (Hopefully not in one sitting.) I used to get cat food at my Sam's Club back in TN, but I've noticed that most of them around Denver don't seem to carry Iams cat food (only dog food). Also, some stores seem to regularly carry things that other stores don't. And for those of you who purchase your name brand cat/dog food here, I'd come prepared in knowing what it costs elsewhere. I recently bought a 44-lb bag of Beneful dog food at Petsmart for almost $6 less than Sam's because of coupons and sales. One thing I find annoying about buying in bulk from Sam's is the amount of extra packaging on a lot of the nonperishable items. It's a little insane that a 3-pack of toothpaste is actually 3 separate boxes repackaged inside of a giant box. Can't we at least pretend to be a little more environmentally friendly? read more

For the Record, this review is for the OPTICAL Dept. only! This is the WORST experience I have had at any eye doctor's office EVER! I decided to bring a family member here for their eye exam because it was inexpensive, I live nearby, and all they needed was an eye exam only. The service from the Doctor (Ron Harris) and the optical staff is just horrible. The worst part, is the system they have in place. Trying to call back for basic, simple information about my exam/visit, was a nightmare because apparently the optical staff cannot access the patient files as they belong to the Doctor and only he has access to them and "sometimes" takes the files home with him when he is not there. This whole Optical office is a complete JOKE and holds true to the saying that "you get what you pay for!" Unfortunately, I fell victim to it this time. Avoid the hassle and headache, spend a few extra bucks, and take your money and business to a quality eye doctor. In regards to this Sam's store as a whole - it is Awesome, always clean/organized, has an AMAZING BAKERY and it's just unfortunate they associate their name with Dr. Ron Harris. read more

Don't hold back reviewers. This store gets five stars. This store is awesome. They remodeled about a year ago and it is never busy! Great selection especially cereals.
