This review is about the Credit Card Sam's offerers from Synchrony Bank. Synchrony is podunk. Their card seems like it jumped right out of the 90's. This card has not been configured to work with Apple Wallet. Don't know whether to go to the Sam's club website to access your account, or the Synchrony website as Sam's attempted to integrate one into the other...and failed. Setting up autopay when I first got the card was an absolute nightmare, being bounced from one website to the other. Ooooh, and now they crow about how they have a new way to sign in, but the site doesn't recognize the same username or password I've saved in my password manager, and used since I set the account up. Legitimate providers making security changes at least save your login info, so you can sign in and set your credentials to their new system. But nope. Today, the first time I attempt going to either website in a month, a dialogue box pops up and says I've attempted to enter my login info too many times...when I just arrived there. You wouldn't think Sam's would have to scrape the bottom of the barrel for a card provider, yet here we are. read more

This review is mostly for the vision center but our experience with Sam's Club in general has been pretty good; Sam's is the best place to buy over-the-counter medications and they have my skincare products in bigger sizes for better prices than I can find anywhere else. I had a pair of glasses I bought somewhere else to be adjusted at the vision clinic several times over the summer. They were always friendly and willing to do the adjustment for free. I really appreciated how everyone I interacted with treated me with respect and with a welcoming attitude. I'm very much considering getting glasses at the vision center next time that I get glasses due to how friendly and helpful they were with just adjusting a pair that they didn't even make. read more

Less selection than Costco but it's close and has cheaper gas than Costco. And the deli is not a good as Costco's except Sam's has a much better soda fountain selection. read more

To make a long story short. I put an item marked at $169 on sale in my cart. It rang up $199. I cancelled transaction and went to service desk to receive "sorry, item is not on sale, the sign is wrong". Since it was overpriced I forgot about it. The next day I receive a promotional email showing the item for sale at $169. I go back and not there is no stock but over 50 at another store. Item was not available to buy on line and service desk was absolutely no help. My only option was to drive to another Sam's club with inventory according to this store. Upon arrival, no inventory! I eventually found what I wanted the day before the 3 day sale ended no thanks to the terrible service. read more

Experience a flat tire in the area and hoped to have it changed before driving all the way back to Denver. Called the tire shop ahead of time asking if they could help us out, and they assured us that "We're here to help you--just bring it in and we'll figure something out before we close." Instead, we drive the 15 minutes to the store (on our tiny spare), wait 15 more minutes for someone to help us, and then get told they're too busy to help us before they close after all. I understand not being able to help on short notice. But when you call and ask ahead of time and are assured you'll be taken care of if you come in, it's more than a little irritating to be told that's not actually the case. It certainly would have been easier for us to negotiate the flat tire crisis and figure out a plan without being misled by false assurances. read more

My husband and I shopped at Sam's Club in Loveland today. You know those Sam's Club Team members who stand beside the home improvement display as you leave the checkout area. Every time we shop there we are confronted by a person asking us if we need any work done to our house, we know it's their job. They asked us once again today as we walked by to leave the store. We commented " thanks but we are OK," and I jestured no with my hand. They continued to list off rooms and projects we could have Sam's Home improvement do for us. I turned around and said that I am tired of being asked. Then they said with attitude " Look honey, Sam's Club pays me to do this"! Wow, what an attitude, for one I'm not their honey and as a customer I didn't expect that response and tone. If a customer says no, no means no, stop pursuing the customer with a sales pitch if they said no. I guess find out when their lunch break is and shops then. My issue is with one particular Sam's Club Team member who is a middle aged woman I neglected to chat here her name on the tag she was wearing. read more

I've used this place for years but since Costco has opened I have started going there. This SAMS club has started going down hill. The saddest thing to me is how obvious it is that it's struggling and how obvious that it's Costco affecting them. They have had massive cashier turn over. SAMS put up giant menus similar to Costco's in their food court. They have reduce their variety of products and have multiple options of one item. As an example they got rid of mustard packets and now have rows of mayo (check out my pictures) and did the same with ketchup. Who needs 5 mayo options or 7 ketchup options? The same deal with orange juice and apples and etc. I've stopped going because they have run out of many of the items I need and I don't need 7 types of ketchup, 5 types of mayo or 6 types of apples. read more

last October 2021 we purchased a brand new set of tires. We also purchased the warranty. In April of this year we had a tire that had a bolt in it and we're still under warranty. we stopped into their tire center and the two gentleman working first tried to tell us that it wasn't covered, then changed their mind and said they didn't have that particular tire in stock anymore and it wasn't carried. They said they could not fix the tire they could order a similar tire so they did it. We checked back with them several times over the summer and they had not received the tire. Here it is, almost a year later and still nothing. We feel like they are sold us a fraudulent warranty. They should have honored it with different tires. It is not our fault that they no longer carry the tire that we had. read more

Tire and battery area is terrible now. They used to be open everyday when the club was open. I could go in and get a battery changed by them for free while I shopped. I was there a week ago and the guy told me it would be an hour and a half wait, which I said I'd come back then when I could wait longer. Went in today, the guy told me I had to have an appointment and the soonest they could do it was October 1st which is 10 more days away. I'm glad I didn't get my tires there, if you have a flat they can't get you in for 10 days. Do some hiring and be open with the club that we pay our membership for. read more

I used to use Scan and Go, and loved it---scanned items as I put them in my cart and then bypassed the checkout line and went straight to the exit. Then Sam's changed its policy and to use their new app I have to give permission for them to access anything on my phone. I don't think so. When I complained I was told no, that is not what the agreement required. When I showed it to them then the response was either "so what?" or "even if they could get into your contact list,your texts, your photos and videos, they wouldn't". Right. Sorry, but "trust us" doesn't fly with me. Any time I mentioned it they got very snippy. When I wrote to Corporate I got a letter back saying this is what they have to do to process bar codes I scan. Nonsense. They expect me to believe their tech people can't write code that will send the bar code directly to their app, without needing permission to access all my photos and videos and contact list and texts? Well, I don't believe that. I still go there when I am in a hurry, and do self checkout, as I live south of Loveland, but when I have a little time I go to Costco. read more

My rating changes today from 5 stars, to one star. This club is completely worthless. The basic minimum I expect from a sams club type store is for "one day sale" prices to be correct for the one day sale. Posting a sign by all the gift cards marking them down 30% with the only exception being movietickets.com, gives the expectation that all the gift certificates except movietickets.com are on sale. NONE of the ones I took to the register were on sale. When I asked the employee checking me out, she said they were. When I examined my receipt, they weren't. So I went to customer service with a photo of the sign and asked for the price to be corrected, saying she couldn't. She could only refund them. No matter how I explained the situation, they didn't care. Seems like a deliberate false advertisement intended to make people buy at an expected discounted rate, while charging full price. I returned my entire purchase for the day, and I'm about to go in and get a refund for my membership. No telling how much they already conned out of me, but today will be the last time they ever see a dime from me. read more

Never a pleasant shopping experience. I only shop here to try to save money on bulk items like toilet paper, paper towels, meats, cereal, etc.. This last shopping trip frustrated me because a) all of the packaged salads in the refrigerated section had old, limp or rotted lettuce b) employees and manager more interested in talking and smiling with each other rather than smiling at customers and asking them if they need help c) I waited patiently for 10-15 minutes at the cafe to get a soda only to find out from the cashier that the carbonation was out. There were people wiping the machines and counters down. No one bothered to put an "Out of Order" sign on the machines or near where customers wait. I just wasted time for nothing. I really think these big stores need to remember that customers are what keeps them open and to make customer service a priority. When my membership expires, I won't be returning. read more

It is completely absurd how awful the service is at this store. Incomprehensible really. Tires and Battery department have no idea whether the tires I ordered 2 weeks ago came in or not. The service department attendants don't know how to put a call on hold. "Manager Joe" is someone they asked if I wanted to speak to; I said 'yes', waited 20 minutes and nobody ever answered the phone. So I decided to show up, did my shopping, decided to get a bite, Food Court attendant watched someone's "hamberder" cook for 10 minutes instead of keeping the line moving. I never missed COSTCO until I started shopping at Sam's. I wish there was a COSTCO closer than Timnath. read more

We shop both Sam's Club, Loveland and Costco in Fort Collins and there is a plus to both of them but we really enjoy our experiences at Sam's. Slower pace with less customers but more employees to help you find what you are looking for. I appreciate that they hire more seniors aka mature adults throughout the store. Its refreshing. Food court is much cleaner than Costco by far. Pharmacy is great. Timely prescriptions refills 15-20 minutes. Eric is very helpful in answering questions and tries to be helpful with customers. All staff seem to work well together and are responsive with great customer service. I do agree with the review by Ken S. it is irritating to have 3rd party remodel company that interrupts your shopping experience. I had to call my husband to get him away from salesperson as they would let him go. This is not thoughtful of Sam's to allow them in the store. This is my only complaint. read more

Waited in line at self check out like everyone else and I was the only person that needed to have their receipt checked item by item against what was in the cart. Extremely disappointed in samsclub.com On September 13th I ordered and paid for a king size mattress to be delivered to my home. On September 21st I received an email saying my order had shipped and I should be receiving it by October 3rd. I never heard anything else by phone or email and the tracking information wasn't working, so I made sure to be home all day October 3rd. The mattress never arrived. When I called to check on it on October 4th I was told that the mattress had been in my local warehouse since September 22nd but that they had moved my delivery date to October 19th. I expressed that this was not acceptable to me and the warehouse manager became very rude, said he didn't care if I cancelled the order, and refused to try to get the mattress to me any sooner. He couldn't even give me an explanation as to why I was never notified about the new delivery date. Not only will I NEVER use samsclub.com again, but I will also encourage everyone I know not to use them either. read more

I called back and she was super rude and hung up on me after saying she had a super long line and couldn't help me. Well, she should have gotten my phone number and called me back when she had time. This review is for the pharmacy where I have had multiple problems on prescription refills and they did not even call me to let me know there was an issue. Instead I show up after work to find out they were not smart enough to look at the refill to see there was a partial one still remaining. I wrote a comment card about this asking for Management to call me to discuss things yet no one ever called. Wow what awful service. I will never use the Pharmacy again in this place, workers seem poorly trained and lack customer care skills. read more

My membership only works half of the time and I renewed 2x a year and never get my rewards back. When you talk to customer services they all tell me something everytime oh sorry that happened but we cant see that full detail it only tell us when its going to expire so I dont auto renew anymore pay cash keep the receipt for $100 membership. They won't give me credit for extra charges nor give my rewards back. They cant do anything that's just an excuses so they can keep it as bonus. read more

I have been a Sam's club customer for over 26 years. I have been satisfied with my membership and have enjoyed the service I have received up til now, but I have to say I am seriously considering dropping my membership after the way I was treated by the customer service representative this week. I guess Sam's feel that they have plenty of customers and there is no need to worry about treating people poorly. I had a situation in which a part was missing from an article I bought on clearance. I understood that I could not return this item, but that is not what I was asking. There was a note on the box that indicated that all the parts were there, but they were not. They had more of this item on the shelf, but were unwilling to replace the missing part. Thanks a lot :( read more

As a member of Sam's Club for over 10 years; I can NEVER remember being treatment so poorly as I was yesterday at this SAM's Club. As a result, when my membership expires, I will be joining COSTCO instead. First the good: Tanya at the Customer Service Desk was very helpful. The Manager, Mr. Nevins, promised me he would address the issue. A "little girl," by the name of Michelle, who was the check-out clerk, was the rudest person I have ever encountered in a retail environment. She barked out the amount due, refused to say please or thank you, at any point, and instead, gave me haughty dirty looks, and shrugged her shoulders. She has no business working with customers. Yes, retailing is a difficult business - absolutely. I know because I work in retail. But I also know who butters my bread; and that I never know what a customer may be going through in their personal life, so kindness is always the best policy. read more

We were traveling through Loveland and staying the night at a local hotel Needed gas which was very expensive in the area where we were staying. The front desk clerk suggested we try Sam's Club which was couple of miles toward town. Gas was 20 cents less at Sam's than most other stations. Easy to get in an out of the gas area. Had 5 boxes of paper in cart. Moved up so cashier could scan. Was told they had to transfer all merchandise from one cart to another. The cashier couldn't lift them and the wasn't going to move them so a manager finally told her to scan them. Understand lost prevention but when a box of paper weighs 75 lb and employees are not to lift more than 50lbs what do you do? Want to see you transfer a gun case from one cart to another. read more

On 9/24/2014 I bought regular gas at Loveland's Sam Club and drove home 2 miles away. I capped off at 16 gallons as I was 3/4 low and on 9/25/2014 I headed toward Estes Park and after I drove almost half way to Estes my vehicle started missing and vibrating severly. I was thinking of things that could possibly be wrong. After process of elimination, it was the gas. Once I got to a gas station, I bought 3 bottles of HEET (gas line anti-freeze) to remove the water in my fuel tank. It took quite few miles for the missing and vibration to subside to a reasonable level with the HEET in the fuel tank. I am not sure if they have corrected the problem or had other complaints of water in the fuel tank or their storage tanks. The damage to an engine with water in the fuel can cause severe damage. I was just lucky to pinpoint it soon enough. Also, why are gas prices so high in the region when other states have gas prices drop so sharp? Colorado gets ripped off by crappy gas and high prices. read more
