The line was very long, and when I finally made it to the cashier register to order, the guy rang me up wrong and got upset thinking I didn't tell him the correct amount of pizza slices I needed. This location is close to work for me. I make the occasional stop here just to see what's in stock and grab quick items on the way home from work. I was able to find a deal they had advertised for an exercise bike that stated it was sold out online and in stores at this location. I had also purchased some kid faces from this location a month ago and came back and they were marked down for almost half off. My location did not have the same deal. Bought the Beautiful Pack of 8 cupcakes to celebrate my moms birthday , she passed but we still celebrate in her honor. I always see these cupcakes, they have 4 different flavors , strawberry, lemon, coconut and vanilla all filled with cream cheese. Well let's just say they only look beautiful. The taste is awful. My wife heard this was a good way to save money (buying in bulk). We went and asked customer service for the "One Day Pass" (still offered on the internet to this day) for new customers interested in becoming members... We were told "No, that must be something we offered in the past." So... we couldn't get the "one day pass" and had to get the membership. We got a hard sell (from Austin) for the more expensive membership. I did my homework so when he didn't mention the cheaper one - I did it for him. We got the cheaper one and signed up while Austin awkwardly flirted with my lady (I had a good laugh at Sam's Club boy trying to be suave). Anyway, I think Wal-Mart is fine... unless you own a restaurant or something. We'll use it sometimes since we paid for it... we probably should have walked away but whatever. read more

Absolutely the worst Sam's Club ever! it was time to renew my card. I went through the checkout line and paid for my renewal then went to start my transaction for my purchases and it declined my card saying I need to renew it. I waited 53 minutes at the customer service desk and went through four different employees, including a manager, who could not even do an override and correct the mistake that was on their end. when someone was actually able to assist me, I asked for them to refund my money for my renewal and chose to take my business to Costco. There I find completely stocked shelves with items that stay in the same place. I find friendly team members who are actually trained to help and assist customers. Everything always happens for a reason and no matter the fact of how mad I was that I had to wait for so long and deal with all that unprofessionalism at Sam's wholesale, I am such a happy customer at Costco now. read more

So they are out of a product. The pull tag/card is still on the shelf. We go thru the line, pay for it, give the card to the front end manager. She goes to the cage,,,oops they are out. Big store with discounted foods in large quantities. It's like a larger Walmart on steroids. Some good deals when there are instant savings. Plenty of parking, but lots stay full. It's like everyone shops here. Love the sample stations, but at this place they seem to run out often. It helps to try items I always end up finding something new I didn't know about and end up enjoying it. I skip the cashiers station by using the "you scan". Not sure about customer service because only interaction I have is when I walk out and they highlight my receipt. Never again! We got scammed into joining Sam's Club through the Value Pack coupon and now Sam's Club will not honor the coupon. They did however, gladly take our money and inform us that our $45 gift card is on the way. On Saturday I ordered some groceries from the Matthews Sam's Club and they were delivered by an "Instacart" employee. She called and told me to come outside (was at wrong address) and get my stuff because she wasn't bringing it to the door even though that's part of their service. When I objected, she hung up, threw my groceries into a yard, 3 houses down and left and then texted me saying go get your F'n stuff. This was in the middle of a torrential rainstorm. I called Sam's Club 5 times, 2 times I was told that they don't deliver and I had the wrong store. After I educated the desk staff on the third call, they put me on hold for 22 minutes and no one called back until the next day. Instacart did refund my money but were not willing to identify the employee or say if she would be terminated. Sam's Club manager later offered a $50 gift card. It was an all-around terrible experience and the whole ordeal showed that Sams Club never informed their employees of the new service and partnership with Instacart and Instacart didn't really did not care about what the employee did or having good customer service. read more

I read all the reviews-good and bad. I am sure there are isolated incidents in which the staff does not handle things well. That happens in all stores. For me, trying to call in by phone is the most frustrating. However, I realized long ago that Sam's is a warehouse store. It is not meant to be the same as a high end grocery store where, incidentally, the prices are a lot higher. I see people standing around doing nothing in those stores, as well. I also see plenty of Sam's employees working their butts off. People I have interacted with almost always are pleasant. I use the tire center quite a lot and always come away having received good service. I have also seen customers in the store with bad attitudes. Don't like waiting at the exit while they check the items in your cart? Use the online shopping app. It works very well. I am sure the incidents of theft are high. They have to check. read more

yeah, I shop there a couple times a month for specials, DVDs, Meat, especially milk and Prescription Drugs. I don't like the fact that you have to buy more than you need on some items and their prices are not always the lowest, but they usually have a good deal on coffee ( I am not particular), frozen Pizza, Paper products, and some clothing items. But the real deal is: HOT DOGs in their food court are the one item I really like. They are extra large and beefy, bigger then the bun and are provided with a 24 oz drink for only $1.50. The only draw back is you can only get mustard or catsup to put on them. However, they are great with just mustard. I sometimes when I am in the area just stop by for lunch! read more

Order tires online and was literally lied about when they came in. I called to check up on the order on Sunday but couldn't contact anyone. So I waited called on Monday and spoke to Tasha. She says they have not even come in yet and wouldn't know if they came in. I said my online tracking said the club has received the order. She says ok let me check the back. Guess what my tires have been sitting their the whole time. So I show up on Sunday to get the tires on my car and they refused to put them on because I lost two lug. It's when I was changing my tire with the donut. I wanted to speak to a manager and Tasha comes back to say actually the tires where being delivered the same time I called to check. Lol am I'm stupid or something? I'd call her out that she just lied to me and she just gives me a smug look like what are you going to do about it white boy. I speak to another manager named Diane who was literally no help at all and was very confused and condescending. I ask for Tasha to apologize to me for lying but she said she would have to investigate like this was the attorneys general office. Can't stand the lack of customer service. I waited in line for 30 mins just to get my temporary membership since I left my card at home. The supervisor could not locate it and the worker beside him was having issues of her own where she had to wait on him to finish with me. Then the supervisor tells me that he will do an override and when I get to the register, I tell the cashier he was going to do an override and he's about 100 feet away helpong someone else. The cashier has a stupid look on her face and says, "There's no way I can communicate with him. I don't have a walkie." she clearly had legs that work and would not even attempt to go get him, so I ran over to him and he came to override the register. I give it one star for the products only.
