I recently got a Sam's Club membership and have had my Costco membership for over 20 years. While this is the only Sam's I have gone to, I can write that this is NOT Costco. While the store is neat, parking ample, gas station never crowded (and $7 car wash a must), they cater to more of an Hispanic community with many of the choices in can goods and spices. They do not try to go for the unusual gourmet type items that Costco carries. They do have the basics and I will note as a health conscious family, the Gary's Quick Steaks in the Frozen section are phenomenal and healthy (drain the fat) if your like Italian type beef. Meat is good, especially the Baby Back Ribs. However, all in all I go there for the staples. One more thing their app that enables you to scan your purchases and not wait in a check out line is great....BUT you still have to wait in line to exit the store which to me kind of defeats the purpose of using the app. read more

I had to stop in the Automotive section to have a battery installed. Want to give a shout out for the employee at the tire and battery register. The employee JENNIFER was the best. Very professional, personable, was a treat. She had a great sense of humor and appreciated the company while waiting. And all this while having me get through the paperwork. She was the best. I work at Sam's club and I like the job but the 2 supervisors are very rude people and like to pick on you for little this. I was closing and she came outside and pointed out every little thing. Like she said straighten out the carts witch we where not done, they where only a little crooked. And when it was raining we had all the carts full, and all caught up she came out and said put a poncho on and get moving. I had wet feet all day and my clothes were wet, and I went home with blisters on my feet because they where went all day. All she had to tell us is wait a little bit and wait till the rain stops. And when I got hired, I got no training and they're very disorganized. I'm not the only person saying that. The good thing is that we are very help full to customers. I would not recommend working there if you do watch out for the 2 supervisor. read more

When shopping for tires in this area I've come to find that no one offers same day service. And Earley will a retailer have your size in stock so 'Be prepared!' Ordering is a matter of a few days; week at most. But getting them installed a whole different story. Two aspects worth writing about; installation costs and ongoing maintenance. Dealers will separate charges by line to include break-down, discard, mount, balance, and install. That can run $40-60 per tire. Over the life of the tire you're to rotate and balance at manufactures recommendations so you'll pay some of those fees again and again. Now visit a Sam's Club and you'll pay a flat $20 per tire and that's it. Admittedly they are severely short-staffed so you can wait weeks to get the tires installed and forget calling for any reason. Be ready to drive back if you have any questions. But the savings is substantial enough to warrant the drive. read more

Arrived at store on a Thursday opening at 8am to get car battery. Normally I would have just purchased battery, installed at home, then brought old battery back. But since I was told only 2 jobs were ahead of mine being done and should be less than 2hr wait I let them install saving me another trip back with old battery. Lucky I didn't wait in store since when I called from home at 11:30am to check on status, informed they had yet another just 2 jobs ahead of me before they would get to my car. Finally called at 1:40pm saying car was done. Nearly 6hrs to instal a car battery, going back to doing myself in 5 minutes. So much for honesty from Sam's employees. read more

I really love the new scan and go at the gas pump. You just scan no need for inserting a Sam's card then a credit card. Sure make it fast. We also use scan and go for all our shopping we never have to go through a check out lane nor self checkout. Just slide the bar over when finished and show the door person your QR code on the phone. read more

This is a really nice Sam's. While I am not a member, a family member is and I accompanied them to this location. Parking is ample, and what really made it sweet was the fact that they have a covered drive-through area where you can load your car after you make your purchases. Especially helpful when it's raining! Store was neat, well organized and clean. Check out was super quick. Employees that we encountered were courteous. Selection of items is pretty extensive, but I have nothing to really compare it to as far as Sam's Club locations go (since, as stated, I am not a member and haven't been in a Sam's in years). It was similar, but different in some areas, to the Costco that I frequent in my home town. A nice store that has a lot to offer. read more

The one thing I like about Sam's is that they have great deals and they carry different items. I have also dealt with them from a manufacturing perspective and their standards a high. I will never buy tires from Sam's ever again, what a pain. I called and they can't tell me if they have available appointments for a simple tire rotation and balance. What's the point in paying for the extra road hazard for your tires??? You can't get in to take of your tires. Then they will accuse you of not maintaining proper tire care and say the warranty is no longer valid. I should have bought my tires anywhere else besides Sam. I think it's time to move over to Costco. read more

I love this place because they have so much to offer. I love shopping for the fishing clothes here as the Habitat clothing line is durable and breathes well. We also shop for wines as they have much to offer and stock many Cabernets from the Stags Leap District which is a favorite of mine like Chimney Rock & Stags Leap Artemis. Another great value that Sams Club offers and probably the best deals is the gas station and car wash. I frequent here for both because the premium gas is usually about .20-.30 cents cheaper and the car wash is only $6.00 for a premium wash. They have both a brushless and brush car wash so for those who worry about possible scratches, they have you covered. Just the gas price and car wash savings alone will more than pay for your annual membership. read more

You need to carry Miracle Whip and cannister maxwell house coffee. They do in Michigan. We checked out in the self serve check out. We were told to scan and place in empty cart provided. Others didn't and I stood there and watched people scan in the same cart they used and not scanning all items. This is stealing!!!! read more

This place is one busy shop especially when the snowbirds come own. I have found just about anything I was for. The customer service line can be a little slow if you need an adjustment or return of something. Gas line usually long but will save you at least 15 cents a gallon if you sign up for their credit card with Synchrony Bank since you get 5 pct back. read more

About two weeks ago we placed a cake order as a gift for my sons first birthday. When we picked up the cake it wasn't what we had originally requested. The coloring was off, the borders of the cake didn't match, and the picture that was printed was supposed to be red and looked pinkish and had flaws. When I asked if they could change it or make it look better the gentleman said, "no because it'll ruin it further." I don't normally make a fuss about things like this, but it was just very poorly done and when I expressed being displeased, there was no real effort in trying to find a resolution. Any professional cake decorator should have known that looking at the finished product, would be displeasing. My aunt ended up paying for it anyway because she felt obligated, but never again. We will not be recommending cakes from sams again. Stinks because we really do love the place -- just not the cakesssss. read more

They still need a better system for exit receipt checkers they get bogged at times. Gas prices are a slightly better for Naples standard. Not always the best prices but deals are plentiful. The worst run wholesaler in the Naples area. Costco is so much better, for starters. In short, go to Costco and then visit Sams and you will realize the vast differences in atmosphere and mannerisms of their staff. Sams is like Walmart in ownership and every other aspect. Its the dregs of consumer life in America. But the good new is it can get worse! Their help could smack you on your head every time you asked a question. Now they politely answer you in Spanish. I was here in the afternoon and found there was a 6 hr. wait, and told it's best to come back at 8:00 AM (forplus members) I came back at 8:00 AM to find there were people already waiting, 5 cars ahead of me, And a 4 hour wait to have the sensors checked on my tires. Unreasonable! Either Mecene. Did not give me a correct estimate, or Sam's Club is running a very poor tire center. It is a 4 bay garage, one person working at the desk, and another 2 people working in the garage. As I spoke to another associate, he said they have a hiring problem, since many prospective employees fail preliminary tests. People who are qualified, work in dealerships where they pay better. I replied "then Sam's Club needs to pay them better. They are losing more business than they are saving money." The associate agreed... 11:00 on a Monday. This place is not even busy, but there is a cluster at the checkout lines. Only two lanes open. You have 3 associates helping a customer remove items from her buggy onto the track? Really? Oh and about 4 associates, including a manager, standing around talking and looking confused. My husband finally walks over and tells manager maybe he could open another lane? Of course he says yes he was just about to. So they open more lanes and guess who they take first? Yep...the people in the BACK of the line! Guys! We have been standing here waiting and you take the person who just walked up? Very poor management and no initiative with register staff. This is a really great store and the people that work here are very friendly and helpful. It does get busy on the weekends but the lines move you along quickly. I started using the Sam's Club app on my phone and I scan each item in my cart and pay for it on my phone. They scan the "receipt" on my phone before leaving. I completely avoid standing in the lines. Customer service is the best and they always find a way to make everything work out whenever I have a question, return, or problem. read more

My first review for the 2018 new year is of Sam's Club because what's more relatable than Sam's?! It's a place that welcomes everyone, all shapes and sizes, into their doors, every day of the year (except Christmas, Easter, thanksgiving, and New Year's Day), as long as you have a shiny Sam's Club membership card! Once you get the membership, you're all set! You can go to their stores all over the country and get literally whatever you want, in bulk if you want! It's amazing. The prices are spectacular too! I love going on the weekends because, although it's crowded, there's always a ton of samples out! Come hungry y'all! And the samples aren't just for samples sake, they actually are great ideas for people like me who try to find new tasty things to cook for dinner, dessert, or to snack on! Just the other day, on a Tuesday, I sampled some yummy teriyaki chicken! Soon as I knew it, that teriyaki chicken was in my cart and on the way home with me! And just yesterday, Wednesday, I cooked some of that chicken for dinner! It tasted even better than the sample! I love a place where I can get what I need, but also what I want.
