I had an exceptional experience with Marie at the Springdale Sam's Club. I called the main store line--not even the café--and Marie was the one who answered. From the moment she picked up the phone, she was kind, patient, and genuinely eager to help. Even though she doesn't work in the café, she went above and beyond to assist me with a pizza pre-order for my daughter's birthday party. She took the time to look into the situation, called me back promptly with an update, and found a solution despite my mistake of not placing the order ahead of time. Throughout the entire interaction, Marie was warm, professional, and truly customer-focused. Before ending the call, she even wished my daughter a wonderful birthday celebration, which was such a thoughtful touch. People are often quick to share negative experiences, but I believe outstanding service deserves to be recognized just as much. Wow I'm surprised at the low rating for this Sam's Club! I like it here. I never see it busy no matter what time I'm there, love the Scan & Go feature, have had good experiences with the staff... This is my first year as a Sam's Club member, I've been a lifelong Costco member. T-Mobile keeps offering $20 memberships with free pizza so I took them up on it and it was super worth it at that price lol. I really appreciate the different range of products they have here, imo Sam's Club is better if you have kids because they have more name brand snacks etc. Also it's less stressful to come here because Costco is pretty much always busy. My aunt has also been a Costco loyalist and she agrees that Sam's Club definitely has its own merits! Today I went in at 7:50, they close at 8... they were so chill about it. I even saw them let someone run in as I was leaving, after 8PM. I felt bad so I was rushing around. I think the store is laid out well and it was super easy to find everything I needed and get in and out quickly. I admit that I don't buy some things here so maybe my opinion is skewed. I haven't really bought much food. But they have my golden kiwis for $7 or last time they were $6!!! They're double the price at Costco. I have never gotten a chicken here, haven't gotten meat or bakery items, and when I look at the berries they look kind of sketch so I haven't gotten them either. I think for like, peaches or pomegranates or something, those would be good. I do mostly get boxed items or shelf stable items. Idk, it sucks that they went back on their DEI policy. Just bought my 2023 Subaru wrx not even a month ago and decided to get some new tires for it. Not a single scratch gouge or anything on the wheels. As I'm leaving the store I see my tpms light came on. No big issue so I stop at a local tire shop and I was told that my right front wheel did not have a sensor in it. Thankfully they replaced that for free. But as soon as I come home and check everything out I found out my 2 front wheels have some scratched and gouges in them. Kinda pissed off. I have been a member at this location since 2008 and really love it. The people are friendly and helpful, and they don't make lots of changes in location of items like some stores. At 4 pm I checked online again only to find out the order had been cancelled. No notice, no reason...JUST CANCELLED. In 2023, I got glasses at Sam's. I paid for a doctor's appointment and waited 20 minutes to be seen. I paid insurance and paid for glasses I didn't order and never used, so they didn't help my vision. HORRIBLE customer service! The inconsideration from staff and management is mind boggling. This is the third time now that I have waited over an hour for grocery pick up. (Last time was 3 hours.... Yes, 3 HOURS!!). I arrived here at 7:15 PM, there are about five other cars waiting with me, not once have we seen someone come out. I came in and had to demand to speak with a manager, and it is now 8:20 PM. Now I'm told that they are closed and will not be bringing out any more orders. They literally just allowed all of us to sit out there with zero communication. Outrageous! They are horribly understaffed, and I understand how that is. My issue was not with them having longer times due to understaffing. My issue is that they still allow customers to arrive and wait for pick up and there is absolutely zero communication with them. First of all, Give your customers an accurate pick up time. If it's going to be five hours from now, didn't say that! Don't allow them to arrive at the store and then sit in their car for hours waiting on you. That is so rude and inconsiderate. The kids working here are absolutely clueless, and frankly rude as hell. I prefer this Sam's Club when shopping. The location is convenient, but the parking can be a bit messy, as this is a busy location. The staff all wear masks and hand sanitizer stations are located at the entrance and various places throughout. The carts are all sprayed with what I assume is disinfectant when they are brought into the store entrance. Overall this location is your typical Sam's Club experience. The items I am always looking for are in stock and easy to get to. The store feels appropriately spaced out along the outside aisles, cold food items, and bakery. I'm not cramped trying to navigate those aisles with other customers. The only issue with cramped-ness is the center clothing section. There is only room for one cart to pass through and if another customer is stopped looking at things, it makes it difficult to pass by them. Other than that, my favorite areas are the outside aisles. I always stop by the bakery and it is always fully stocked causing me to always be tempted to purchase those items. The self check outs can get pretty packed. I avoid those areas and use Sam's Club check out via the app and breeze right past the check out lanes. I rarely encounter any staff and this is usually fine for me as I know exactly what I'm looking for and where it's located. I do recommend this location to those in the area! read more

Warehouse and wholesale stores are pretty much the same. This Sam's Club was no different. The membership fees are turned back to the member fairly quickly. If they sold gasoline at this location, it would help members quite a bit, as Sam's Club generally has the better deals on gasoline, similar to BJ's Wholesale and Costco. If you think that Sam's Club is WalMart with a membership, you're only partly correct. While they're owned by the same company, Sam's Club generally has better products and upscale food, along with some very familiar brands in bigger sizes and greater quantities. The staff was friendly and they have extended hours for business and premium members. You can also do "Click and Pull" where you tell them what you want and they'll have it ready for you by a certain time. Their snack bar is good for a quick bite. The pizza combo is a good deal at under $3.00 for a large slice of pizza (even deluxe) and a drink. They sell the take-and-bake pizzas, of which the ingredients taste better than those of WalMart. Update: for the first time in 12 years of dealing with Sam's Club, I needed to return something. The register at the Membership Desk hardly had enough cash to handle that. Why cash? Sam's Club doesn't accept Visa. 13 minutes of using the walkie-talkie and overhead paging got no help from management, so the associate just gave me the money in whatever form she had--including $30 in $1 bills. I got an explanation the next day that an employee was hurt on the dock and that all of management was there. I suppose it's possible. Also, I ordered tires and had them installed at the store a couple of days later--with a lot of cash again. Days later, I just stopped at another Sam's Club because it felt as though there was a serious problem. They weren't balanced correctly. I saw the technician applying the weights, so I know that he was attempting to balance them, but all 4 were wrong. This Sam's Club location is seriously the worst. No matter how busy they are, there are almost never more than 2 cashiers max checking out customers. They will instead send an army of employees to the front line to try to convince those waiting in line to use self-checkout or their Scan and Go app (hello, I'm not your employee). Just today, Labor Day (with Costco closed and the store packed), there were still only 2 cashiers. All the self-checkouts has line and the 2 lines that were staffed by cashiers were each backed up half the depth of the warehouse for hours while everyone's ice cream was melting in their carts. read more

I ordered 5 cell phones online and picked them up at this store...will never ever use this store. Picked up phones got home and found that two of them were the wrong ones. No biggie, just another 20 min. road trip and whatever the wait time is. The wait time turned out to be an hour at which time i gave up and called samsclub.com which took another 20 min. before someone answered. The lady at the help desk was helpful in that she told me that she knew nothing about returning phones and would get the manager (Brandy) over to help. Brandy never had time to come over to help. Over the course of an hour Brandy could simply said that they couldn't help and that I needed to contact samsclub.com. All that info came from a fellow that got sent over to Brandy a few times and came back to say "they can't help me" So after 3 calls to samsclub.com; first guy transferred me to Motorola after 15 min. who said "why did he transfer you here?"; second guy just kind of vanished (disconnected I guess) and never called me back: however the lady I talked to spent the time to see what I needed to do to get it taken care of. Her response was for me to take the phones back to to the store and have them refund the whole sale. She said that the store was the one that had to do the refund and that if I had a problem to call samsclub.com while I was there. I got a different manager this time who tried the same approach, you have to go though samsclub.com. None of the phone people are here. I asked "What does the phone people have to do with it, I paid for these phones, there's no contract" He said "Let me see your receipt" (first time anyone asked that). He looked at it and told the lady at the service desk to give me a refund. This visit took 10 min. Had Brandy done her JOB as a manager I would have saved 2 trips and over 3 hours of frustration trying to fix that stores error. This store has the worst service I think I have ever experienced. The in-store experience is OK - nothing great. Calling for a department is a journey into the land that time forgot. My last try, I was on hold for 32 minutes. I hung up and called back. When I asked the operator why I was left on hold for 30 minutes she asked me who I was holding for. No apology. She just wanted to put me on hold again. I told her this time I would like to talk to Scott Burley the store manager she put me on hold again but Scott answered fairly quickly. I explained what happened and again no apology just an explanation the he had just talked to the appropriate people after another member complaint. I wish I could give this store ZERO stars as a military man of many years I've shopped many Sam's Clubs all over the country and this is by far the worst I've ever had the displeasure of shopping. Over the course of about 4 visits every employee I have encountered her clearly hates their job. Over all the store seems to be plagued with grumpiness. It took a new low when I went to pick up an order and the service member made it no secret she disapproved of my skin color, she only became somewhat cooperative after showing her my military ID. There was an issue with the order I had not been added as the pick up person even though I had received the texts to pick it up. She had zero desire to help me. I called my brother, who's membership was used on the order and is a supervisor at another location in a different state, he informed me that is is policy to call the owner of the membership in this situation. This knowledge only further confirms this service by her own personal ignorance made the choice not to help me. read more

Purchased a play set from Sams paid Sams to have it installed 2 months later we had a windstorm the play set blew into neighbors yard and broke into pieces my insurance company said it was not installed correctly so they will not pay for itg.
