I went to this "club" store for the first time yesterday. Great range of products, good prices, lots of "would be" assistance, if the workers actually wanted to help. They're very rude, very gruff, and very unfriendly. Why be a sample handler if you don't like people. Seriously. I really liked the sausage, asked about it. The guy acted like he hated being there, when asked a question, didn't answer, just pointed. In the produce area, saw spills and crushed fruit. Fall liability but I guess the store couldn't care. What an unprofessional untrained staff . I waited in the checkout line for a long time , I was the third person in line . The I.D checker is a real piece of work . Argumentative and thinks he is the sheriff of Sam's club . I went out the front door and u-turned back in the entrance to explain that I needed a refund . The customer complaint counter was 10 feet away . But this guy claimed I had to wait to proceed . I proceeded to the counter anyway . And then in typical crybaby fashion he got a manager , who never apologized for all the incompetent employees that work there . The person who was posing as a manager was totally focused on the fact that I said the employees are a bunch of crybabies. The definition of crybaby is ( one who complains easily or often ) . It's a noun and not calling someone out of their name as the lame customer service woman kept stating to her manager. It's very weak minded to goad the customer and say that they don't have to give me a refund. Then she is somehow the victim. I asked them what's the point waiting at a security check point if they can't even discover the over charge of six items . Again I was told an approved corporate answer that I agreed to the terms of a security check . How does that fix the fact that I was double charged. If I had an overage in my cart they would have law enforcement there ASAP but when it's their fault it's no issue and no apologies. I need Sam's club corporate to contact me about this . read more

Great store. Love the Plus Members early hours. Good meat, bakery and produce sections.

Normally I try to add something positive in reviews, but that has proven impossible on this one unfortunately. This store is disorganized and everyday items are difficult to find. One thing I always appreciated at this store were the samples, however the sample "vendors" need some improvement on speaking to customers. They are incredibly ignorant with an attitude. One all but scared away my special needs son as he stood in front of the counter waiting for a sample. Management is lacking. read more

I utilize more than one Sam's Club location. This location is pretty standard but had a huge upgrade with the scanning machine so your cart does not need to be checked if you Scan N Go. I love the technology and ease of use with Scan N Go. It's a lifesaver. I've not had many interactions with workers but they seem to be on the ball. The store is not messy at all. The only drawback is the parking lot is tight and aggressive but that is a Corporate issue on the size. read more

I shop at Sams club quite often and usually experience is fine......today I decided to try on-line order and pick up at store....on arrival I parked in marked spots and texted I was there, then the problems started.. The app asks what number space you are in but would not allow me to put in the space number. I sat for 20 minutes trying to get app to work, finally went in store, first person I encountered told me I had to go outside by pickup, second person told me I had to go inside by pickup...on my way in I asked a girl if she could help me but she said she was on break but also told me to go inside by pickup which I did, I then was told I was not allowed in that area..the man in pickup then told a girl to help me which she did VERY reluctantly....if this an example of Sams pick up at store service I will not be using them again!! read more

On Monday, January 13, 2025, my husband and I shopped at the Sam's Club in Tinley Park, IL. Our shopping experience was fine. This review is regarding the cashier, Daryl. He was sooooo professional, friendly and provided excellent customer service. I watched this young man while waiting in line for my turn. Lines were l-o-n-g. Daryl remained calmed, pleasant and professional. All in all, Mr. Daryl provided excellent customer service to all customers I observed. His actions are worth mentioning. read more

I often stop by Sam club in hopes of finding paper towels and toilet paper. Not today, two weeks or a month ago have I found these two essential items. As of recent, the only thing I have found in Sam Club are maskless customers, long lines, and people standing in my comfort zone. What happened to the 6-feet apart rule? Lot attendant scratched up my car putting in a respawn chair in my passenger seat after seeing it was not fitting i told him to put it in the back.which he did not listen and proceeded to shove it in. I contacted the store and spoke with the manager. The manager Nicole told me to make an insurance claim or a police report. Why should my insurance rate go up due to a problem they caused. Also it was not a car accident, why get the police involved? I guess this is how they solve things... pawning the issue off on others. For variety of products, we shop at Sam's, & Costco. Hands down, Costco has the most efficient friendly staff around. Sam's club in Tinley has a bunch of Disgruntled staffers bad mouthing management policies, working conditions and anything else that seems to bother them. We also shop at the Sam's in Joliet and Hodgkins. Tinley is the worst of the group. so sad read more

I loves my Sam's. I had no trouble getting in and out. But when I go to the door to pay, the application for the payment is forever acting a fool. Always!!! The place was packed!! With COVID-19 going on it was to be expected that certain things would be out of stock. In the midst of it all the store was still neat. There were staff members sweeping and organizing. The lines were exceptionally long. The awesome thing was that I took advantage of the scan. pay. & go feature the the app. I didn't have to wait in line and was right out the door. The pick up system here is awful, everyone just parks in the reserved spots and disregards the signs. When you can finally get a pot and check in, it takes up to an hour for your stuff to be brought out. The parking lot is a nightmare no matter what time you come. If you cannot provide the service you advertise or enforce an adequate system then don't offer it to your paying customers. read more

Used to luv coming here ever since they launched Scan and Go, but not anymore. Every time I come now there is between 2 to 7 sales solicitors. They hunt you down the isles instead of staying next to their booths, now you can even find them on the left and right large isles ready to sell to you, despite being with children and in a hurry to make a fast run before picking up the kids. These solicitors are from other companies trying to convince you to switch energy companies, gas companies, and to contract windows, siding, or doors. Last weekend I went there was 6 sales people and I'm pretty fed up with the store willing to sell your privacy and sanity to companies who exchange buying their (sams club gift cards) in order to give them permission to hunt you down the isles. I paid for my membership, I think we deserve a positive shopping experience! read more

This is by far the WORST store I've ever been to. NOTHING is organized, products are all over the place, and everything is a complete mess. Go ahead and try calling the place up and they'll NEVER answer the phone. What's worse is I showed up to pickup an online order and they said it wasn't ready for pickup. Not a problem since I did show up early, I'll just head in and grab it off the shelf myself and you can mark it as picked up. Nope, not allowed. Cool, I'll just check out at the register, go ahead and cancel the pickup order. No again! Literally had to buy my items (was only 2 for the online pickup, so not sure why they got antsy about grabbing them) and leave, and have been trying to call in for an hour to cancel the online order. They don't pick up the phone ever and IF someone does they're very rude about it. I even called the meat department and when I told the lady who picked up after the 5th time of me calling. She interrupted me mid sentence and stated that they don't have a phone in that department. They should remove it as an option when you call otherwise you're waiting on the line for no one and it just keeps ringing. read more

I personally have no issues with this store. I do however see people complaining about things not being in stock....there is still a shortage of a lot of things people. A lot of things are still made in China therefore it's taking longer to get to the states. Another thing I see ppl complaining about is the long lines....you can download the app on your phone, scan all your products, pay through your phone and then a bar code comes up....the person at the front knows to scan your phone and count your items. This is the second time I've come to this SAMs club and the checkout process is a hot mess. There are two checkouts, and two self checkouts working and it was chaos.
