I had great service today at the Torrance Sam's Club by 2 employees. I was shopping for autumn crisp grapes that I purchased the other day. I saw that they were available when I checked online, but couldn't locate them. I asked Sherry in the bakery department if there was anyone in produce who could help. She looked with me at the grapes and I pointed out that the ones I wanted were located on a pallet high above some other produce. She located Gio, a produce employee, who went out of his way to get the grapes that I wanted. Both employees were so kind and helpful and I wasn't expecting such service. I hope that management reads this review and recognizes these two employees for their outstanding customer service. read more

The Level of fun these day's is Getting a Sam's Membership ohh yes! That's right the level of excitement as I entered and then left was the same.. these are the small joys in life. My experience was great as we entered, I was a bit sad we didn't get a card with photo that's what I had envisioned ha ha.. but they do things digitally and not mad about it one less card in the wallet. They have so much and for great prices but of course in bulk for a family of 2 only some things make sense but still happy we got it. Love their produce very fresh and their patio sets are amazing and other fun things we saw. Check out was fun, Brenda helped us out and taught us how to do the scan and go and it was fast and convenient. Lines weren't that big so that's was pretty awesome. Sams club is a good store to grab your large items! There is a somewhat different selection that you can only find in that club store. Its clean and sometimes crowded with shoppers depending on what day and time you shop. The restroom are decent, they are located to the far right when entering the store. The food is fresh although I've had some unpleasant issues with the freshness with their sushi, since then I've brought it to there attention and it's been corrected. I do enjoy the clothes and book selections. They always have things that you probably won't find in a mall somewhere. Its Sam's Club not Costco you take your pick. read more

Tire Center & Scan N Go Review: Had my windshield wiper ripped off at the drive thru car wash at Costco next door ugh! Costco didn't have the wiper size I needed to replace it. Came to Sam's, got new wipers, scan n go is so convenient when it's crowded too. Drove to tire center and they put air in my tire and replaced both wipers for me in 5 mins. I got a Sam's membership because I got an ad that it was $15 which sounds like a steal. They have the same things as Costco but I noticed that the pack size is a little smaller. Beef jerky at Costco comes in a 28 pack. Sam's was a 24 pack. Same brand. They do have a lot more toys than Costco. I also love their frozen yogurt at the food court! read more

They did it again! Whenever I shop alone, I use Scan-N-Go and even though I only have 3 or 4 items, I show my barcode, and the door employees STILL rescan my items, handle my merchandise, and humiliate me in front of the other shoppers as if I am some kind of a thief. The only difference is that I am Black. They don't do it when my wife is with me. They wave carts with tons of merchandise on through and treat me and my nephew like common criminals. I'm fed up. If you are Black and want to join me in peacefully bringing an end to this racial profiling (that must be a part of policy because it happens to much) Let me know by commenting on here. Yesterday was the third time that I have bought spoiled meat from this store. The first time it was a pack of fresh tilapia fillets. The second time it was spoiled pork chops and yesterday two whole chickens one of which I cooked right away and made me sick gave me diarrhea and kept me up most of the night with an upset stomach and diarrhea that I am still dealing with this morning. I do not recommend buying any fresh meats or eggs at this location. My second to last trip to this store I purchased an 18 pack of brown large eggs. They were supposed to be good through April 15th I threw them out yesterday because they went bad nearly a week before their expiration date and gave me diarrhea. Carts for disabled people are always a gamble coming here & the excuses are constant with no resolution in sight. It seems like the store manager doesn't care because the problem has been present for years. I cant speak on the anti black racism that I've experienced here because now I have to focus on the fact that 90% of the time there are no carts available for disabled but plenty for able body people. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at Sam's Club. I went to Member Services to exchange a box of diapers for a smaller size, something parents commonly need to do. I explained that I was desperate to exchange them because I cannot afford to buy a new box, and instead of receiving understanding or help, I was met with attitude and zero willingness to assist me. Customer service should be about helping members, especially in situations like this. The lack of empathy and support made an already stressful situation much worse. As much as I love to shop here I have a big problem with something that is more of a convenience they offer. The cafe needs to be managed better! Half the time the soft drink fountain only has 2 flavors available and I've also experienced no drinks at all. So instead of a hot dog combo I was offered 2 hotdogs. Then a few days ago I show up an hour after they open and there's no hot dogs at all. If only they were in a place that had all the ingredients for hot dogs available! Oh wait, they are!!! On Oct 1, 2025 I witnessed a Heinous act being actively committed at Sam's Club 2601 Skypark Dr, Torrance, CA 90505. At approximately 1400 hours I came into this very welcoming establishment with high hopes. I did not have much problems picking up my Groceries and the environment was clean and quiet. Unfortunately when I reached the NFL Section to pick up my Los Angeles Rams plates and Rams blanket, I was greeted by an atrocity, Las Vegas Raiders Merchandise! I was quite appalled that a store which is within Los Angeles County would sell NFL products from a completely different team that does not belong to our state whatsoever. This is a lack of pride and quite painful for Los Angeles rams fans that are unable to get their fan merchandise within their own county. I hope that this problem at Sam's Club is fixed swiftly or unfortunately I will have to boycott the establishment. Remember, there is no other Sam's Club within Los Angeles County and most surrounding areas that sells these horrendous items. read more

I typically don't review grocery stores and such, but I might as well since it's a common place people go. This Sam's is right next to Costco. I bought a membership from here off of Groupon a couple years ago because I basically got the membership free since they gave me a coupon to shop for about the same amount. This places isn't as big nor does it have as many items as Costco. Some people say Costco is cheaper. I thing they both balance out. Some things are cheaper and some are not. What I like about this place is that it doesn't get nearly as crowded. Also, if you're smartphone savvy, or just know about apps and how to scan and use your credit card, they have the Scan n Go feature which to me is a huge plus and time saver. You download the Sam's club app, scan your items and pay with your credit card. So convenient! I often start scanning as I get towards the end of my shopping so that I'll be ready to go when i head back to the front. They even have the option to add to your purchase if you've already paid! So yeah...maybe you get more selection at Costco, but who likes to struggle to find parking and be surrounded by large amounts of people on the weekend? Not me! So my tip is: go on Groupon. Buy the membership for cheap and get credit to purchase necessities. I think one of the Groupons will even give you a free apple pie. Try it for a year. This review is for the tire center: special ordered a set of tires for my wife's car, returned several days later for my appointment. It took 4.5 hours to "mount, balance and install" the set. It was the most unsettling experience, watching the two very UNQUALIFIED tire techs wrestle with each wheel and tire assembly! I've never seen anything like it, in the process they even ruined the fourth new tire, requiring them to special order a fifth tire. No updates, no word from the sales woman at the counter, no visit from either tech with an update, nothing. The only way I survived this appointment was when the overall department manager stopped by where I was sitting, after noticing that I had been there a long time and was obviously distraught. She attempted to help by removing some charges and discounting the replacement tire for the fourth wheel. She was nice and did the right thing by her Sam's Club customer. But and this is a big but, I am no longer confident that the three tires that we installed eventually are not compromised in any way, are they safe for my wife to drive at freeway speeds? Safe for years to come? I expressed those concerns and her honest reaction said it all, she wouldn't be confident either. So $1,200 and 4.5 hours later I have a purchase I have NO CONFIDENCE in and an appointment in four days to watch them grapple with another tire they neither have the training or tools to safely install. Lastly, their two techs managed with their dismounting/mounting machine and the two TIRE IRONS they used managed to damage the clear finish on three of the four wheels. The final gut punch. When I got home I cleaned each wheel in an effort to remove the mess they left on the face of each wheel only to discover the gouges in the clear coat. Gutted, I haven't told my wife about this damage to her beautiful car. I've never had such an awful experience at Sam's. Their stores are always clean, the shelves stocked and the associates helpful but this visit, well I really don't have the words to truly express my disappointment. The time, the aggravation, the expense... all a waste. I will continue to shop this store but I will never ever buy tires from them. The irony? They weren't cheaper than CostCo. Not cheaper than America's Tire. I went here because I felt a sense of customer loyalty to this brand and this location. Somehow I should have known better. read more

On May 28, 2025 I went shopping at this location. As I was exiting I showed my receipt and the employee started to scan everything in my basket. The customers prior to me were allowed to walk out. I stood outside and watched all the customers after me walking out without being scanned. I went back in the store to ask why all my items were scanned and no other customers. (I was the only African American) The employee stated that they can scan 2 to 3 items if the basket doesn't scan going through the towers. I immediately contacted corporate on Facebook, and they apologized. Well today my sister experienced the same thing at the Torrance location. All 20 items were scanned, and no other customers were stopped. I was astonished when she told me, because I had not shared my experience with her. It was like Deja vu. I am infuriated. Blatant discrimination!!!! I called the store three times tonight at 7:53pm and nobody answered. They closed at 8:30pm. If I don't get a response I will be going to the news, send different people in to observe and document, and I'll will go to the JAG office at my military base. This has to stop. read more

Sadie needs a RAISE! Stupid me accidentally forgot my membership card at home. She asked if I had the app which I didn't, ughh! Not a problem, as she whipped out an iPad and typing 100 words per minute, looked me up from my ID. Meanwhile she's continuing to check out the lady before me who was digging in her purse for payment and the line is growing. Where I've seen so many other checkers get flustered or impatient, Sadie just kept a pretty smile, joyful demeanor and had us in n out without skipping a beat. What a pro! We ordered a cake for a party and the "P" was not centered. They were very nice and tried to fix it but the bakers were gone for the day. I was advised to come back in the morning. I came back and they put it still not in the middle and didn't smooth the top of the cake... it had dents and bumps in the frosting. Looks worst than before. I asked on woman about it and she essentially said too bad and walked away. I spoke to someone else and she told me that they were there for me at the bakery and guest services would be able to sort it out for me. They were very nice and guest services was great too. I don't know what's going on with the bakery department but it's crazy to not even attempt to make it presentable for the customer. Check your things well before you leave. read more

Sam's Club is my favorite place to shop, and the store on Skypark in Torrance is the best location of them all. The atmosphere inside is completely different from Costco, which happens to be just next door. The mood is calm, the aisles are wide, and the merchandise is curated to meet the needs of local clientele. They have pasture raised eggs, Rosie brand chicken, organic blueberries, and Lactaid milk in a 3-pack. The Member's Mark paper goods are very high quality and a good value. On top of that, the people who work there are very helpful and even friendly. The clientele seems more working class; definitely not pushy or snobbish. With the easy parking situation, and the Scan and Go on the Sam's Club app, I don't feel bad showing up needing only one or two items, since I can be in and out in a flash! I would be lost without the Torrance-Skypark Sam's Club. read more

Meet Sherry! She is a Hero!!! She is also a baker at Sam's Club located in Torrance at 2601 Skypark Drive. Yesterday, I delivered 90 red, yellow and green cupcakes and a chocolate cake with red, black and green frosting made from scratch by Jesse D. Gibson, to Angeles House for their Black History Month celebration. In the process of setting up, the red cupcakes were accidentally dropped on the floor. All of them were ruined. I went to find replacements. When I went to the Sam's Club in Carson, they did not have any red cupcakes available, and they had no baker to frost them. Jesus, the assistant manager of the Carson store, called the other locations to see if anyone had red cupcakes. I called the Sam's Club in Torrance and spoke to Sherry in the Bakery Department. I told her what had happened and she immediately asked me how many cupcakes I needed. I told her I needed 30 red cupcakes and she did not hesitate before cheerfully saying, "I can definitely do that for you." I thanked her profusely and drove over to the Sam's Club in Torrance. Before I left, Jesus not only credited me for the 30 cupcakes, but for all 90 of the cupcakes. That is excellent customer service! When I arrived at the Torrance Sam's Club, I went to the bakery and asked for Sherry. She stopped what she was doing and picked up my freshly baked cupcakes and brought them to me with a big, friendly smile. I was so grateful for her, and then she said, "There is no charge for these cupcakes!" Thank you Sherry for saving the day!!
