We found someone loading up so we hit the blinker and waited...and waited...and waited. The passenger took the cart somewhere (alternate universe?) and vanished for 10 minutes. We picked up a variety of items including sonic toothbrush heads, lemon variety ICE drinks, and Cosequin Plus for our Golden Retriever. Saw Glenfiddich 18yr for about $135 but I have to limit my alcohol intake and I've already got so much good stuff sitting so I held myself back with much effort. We escaped for little over $250 which is about par for the course when we hit Costco. I got my french bread pizza and chocolate almonds so I was a happy camper. Next time, I won't forget to bring my executive member rebate coupon to save a few bucks.

Executive members are allowed to enter an hour earlier than regular members. I was there at 9 am today and surprised to see the parking lot was already filling up. I had something to return and there was already a line out the door. Some members are oblivious to others and leave their carts in the middle of the aisle as they look at an item. I don't find this occurring as much at other Costco locations.

Our initial experience was smooth and hassle-free, largely thanks to our salesperson, Estaban Aguirre. Unfortunately, we later discovered that Estaban was no longer with the company. The Issue Arises On March 6, 2026, the hinge of our 3-door KINTORA refrigerator broke, rendering the refrigerator unusable. Since we had purchased a warranty, we immediately reached out to Estaban for assistance, only to learn from Raul Flores that Estaban was no longer employed with Chef's Toys. Raul provided us with contact information for Mulberry Technology, who was supposed to handle our warranty claims. Challenges with the Warranty Process This marked the beginning of a frustrating ordeal. It quickly became apparent that Chef's Toys was not well-acquainted with Mulberry Technology. Raul initially gave us an incorrect contact number for starting our claim. He directed us to Joshua Wohl at Mulberry, who, while not involved in claims processing, was helpful enough to connect us with the appropriate department--after we had already experienced several unhelpful responses from Raul. After sending our purchase order to Karime, our contact at Mulberry, we learned that Chef's Toys had never registered our protection plan with Mulberry or transferred the necessary funds for our warranty. We attempted to follow up with Raul but received no response until we escalated our concerns to Chef's Toys' corporate office. Unfortunately, reaching out to their main line at 714-662-2433 during business hours of M-F between 9am-5pm only led to a voicemail, and our emails through their website also went unanswered. This is TERRIBLE! Resolution and Lingering Frustrations Eventually, Raul from Chef's Toys responded and offered a courtesy repair for our refrigerator door but informed us that our remaining warranty coverage would not be honored. This was frustrating, as we had already paid for the warranty. During this period, on March 25, the Health Department visited and deducted points from our inspection due to the non-functional equipment. We promptly notified Raul about the urgency, as another inspection was scheduled for April 6. Fortunately, the Health Department accepted our communication with Raul and a photo of the completed repair as proof. The entire process--from the breakdown on March 6 to the repair on April 6--took a full month. This delay was disappointing, especially given that waiting for a part should not have justified such a lengthy timeline; someone could have delivered the part to expedite the repair.

I couldn't my favorite chef 's knife (the whole knife block cannot be found!) Hubby found a chefs knife & he got me the sharpener. I told him I wanted to get the stone/honing block but he opted for the metal kind. The staff are super helpful & answered our questions. There so many "toys" I wanted to buy but I must resist the urge to amass more "clutter" (that's what Hubby calls it, but he reaps the benefit when he eats what I cook). I still need a dumpling rolling pin, but they only have standard types at this location. Aisles are fairly spacious & inventory appears well stocked, neatly arranged & sorted. Prices are fair & marked accordingly. It has its own designated free parking lot. Good shopping trip, met our goals.

While leaving the premises, the employee--woman name Ravan--completed the receipt check. Rather than handing the receipt back to me with basic courtesy or respect, she discarded it directly (throwing my receipt) onto the ground, that I had to pick it up when she was supposed to pick it up after throwing it down to me. Her unacceptable action was dismissive, disrespectful, and completely unbefitting of someone representing your establishment. This kind of behavior creates a hostile and degrading environment for customers. I expect a prompt review of this incident and appropriate retraining or disciplinary action to ensure other patrons are not subjected to such disgusting customer service in the future.

When I decided on a pair of ASICS, he immediately tried to upsell the insoles (around $120), even though I had only tried the shoes with those insoles, not with the original ones. At checkout, he also pushed the VIP membership, saying it would give me 90 days to try the shoes and return them if needed, making it sound like that flexibility depended on being a member. We declined. When I got home and tried to run in the shoes, I couldn't even last 90 seconds, they just didn't work for me. We called the store (using the number listed online) and were told that as long as the shoes looked brand new, we could return them. That gave us confidence to go back. Unfortunately, the in-store experience during the return was completely different. The associate told us: * The shoes did not qualify as "brand new" * We could not get a refund to the original payment method unless we were members * The only option was a gift card Then, again, we were offered the membership as a solution. The inconsistency between what we were told on the phone and what happened in-store, combined with the repeated upselling, made this a very frustrating experience. After inspecting the ring, Sam the owner was confident he could restore it to its original condition and offered a very reasonable estimate. The ring was ready in 6 days. When I came in to pick it up, Sam had an almost excited look on his face as he prepared me for the big reveal. You could tell how proud he was with the final product. As he took the ring out of the bag, my face lit up - I could not believe how beautiful it was. It genuinely looked every bit as good as the day I had bought it. The missing stones were replaced, all the settings were inspected and reinforced, and the gold and diamonds were cleaned and polished. I give my strongest endorsement to Modern Jewelers.
