This is the best Sam's Club. I shop here for everything: tires, baked goods, flowers, groceries, and especially snacks for my youth groups. The store is always clean, and they have the cheapest windshield wipers that really last. Thanks, Sam's Club, you are the thing since grape Kool-Aid. Nice store in a great location in Boardman. Chock full of quality merchandise at reasonable prices. I used the Sam's Club Scan and Go app to purchase my items, and I avoided standing in the checkout line in the store. I also used the app to buy fuel for my car. (Sam's Club has the lowest prices on gasoline anywhere in the Mahoning Valley.). Super easy! Also, before you leave the store, make sure that you stop by the Cafe/Snack Counter in front of the cash registers. They have great prices on pizza, pretzels, frozen yogurt, hot dogs, and drinks! read more

I love the store!!! However, the tire center leaves a lot to be desired. Ordered tires, took a week to arrive, ok. Had an appointment for 10 am. 11:30 still hadn't touched my vehicle. When they finally did, they said they couldn't get my wheel covers off and i needed to do it myself. I waited an hour and a half just for them to tell me that they could not get my wheel covers off they didn't have the right tool and they may be glued on. who the hell glues on wheel covers!?!? completely uneducated, incompetent staff. I found a place who matched the price made the price even better and actually knows how to take wheel covers off. Imagine that. read more

We shop here about twice a month. PA can't compare with the great price of milk! We stock up on canned goods and meat, but paper products are taxed in Ohio, so we go to Butler for those. The photo department is fairly speedy, unless they run out of the ornament you prefer. The prices of books, music and DVD's is fair. read more

What is with the new carts? At 5'2", and a senior, they are too tall and ergonomically unwieldy. Further, there are now more check-out yourself lines, than clerk operated ones. When you are older, it is difficult twisting boxes to find the code. Not happy with the changes, Sam's Club!!! read more

Don't try to call as they won't answer! Trying to call the tire shop all day. After multiple calls I am giving up on getting an appointment. If tire dept doesn't answer, it rings to service desk and she told me they are busy so call back! not politely either. Second call said no one was available. We were at the concession stand yesterday 3/12/22 around 2pm and ordered a 16" pizza. There was an older lady and young boy working. I placed my order w/the young boy. The boy placed the pizza in to bake. Once I noticed the pizza was done I approached the counter. The boy went behind a second counter and began to use his phone. I asked, "isn't that my pizza?" He replied, "she'll get it for you." Referring to the older lady who was in the refrigerator in the back. I asked him why wasn't he going to do it? He said, while still playing w/his phone, I'm doing my sports." As of f this was an acceptable answer. As a business owner we all know that using the phone while on the clock is "stealing " and even worst disregarding a customer with a dismissal as if what they are doing is more important than the reason why they are there is unacceptable. I'm hoping that this isn't an ongoing practice w/your employees and hope that this behavior will be addressed an corrected ASAP. This was such a poor representation of what Sam's Club has been through my past years of shopping with you guy. Totally unacceptable and I hope this will never occur again. Lacking in customer service. I've been a member for only a month or so, and hadn't had an issue till I was forced to deal with the customer service portion of this store. Due to an injury, my leg is in a cast and my back is messed up. In short, I am handicapped. I am usually ok with a store this size because of the motorized scooters available. I have a business plus membership, and when I normally go, I go early, where there seems to be more than a dozen available. On this instance however, I arrived at 3pm. Only one was available, and the battery died on me after 40 feet. I had spoken with both the door person and the customer service area who all seem to confirm 2 things - 1. there may be available scooters parked sporadically throughout the parking lot and 2. although they said they would alert a representative that one is needed, they had no apparent interest in retrieving one. I was told to go to the little cafeteria area and wait for one to be available. 25 minutes later, no one came. In the mean time, 4 customers using them had checked out and left (so obviously those would be available soon, right?) and 5 more came in on them. In other words, they were in circulation and no one thought to notify me of one's availability. I asked the member's desk again, and they just said people must be finding them out in the lot. Meanwhile, the store had at least 2 employees who's job it seemed was to retrieve shopping carts, yet could not, or would not, bring one scooter back. I decided I can't wait all day and left, but not before filling out a comment card specifically asking for a callback, 9 days later, still nothing. Being handicapped isn't a luxury where one gets good parking spaces. It is a frustrating and humiliating experience not to perform simple functions like walking a store. Compound that with the aparent disinterest and lack of empathy shown by a 1/2 dozen employees and you'll understand just how unimportant a company can treat you. It's bad enough you pay $100 fee just for the privilege of shopping in a store where they suspect you of theft and inspect your cart each time, but this level of apathy is disrespectful. read more
