They gave me a repair estimate of $17,335.18 on October 15, which seemed reasonable, and I assumed work was being done. For over two months, I waited with no updates. Suddenly, on December 5, they emailed demanding the loaner back immediately and threatened a police report for "failure to return a rental vehicle." I called their rep (Alfonso), who said he would extend the loaner--he never followed up. That evening, the loaner was remotely disabled (Valet Mode) while I was driving, stranding me overnight in 20°F snowy/rainy weather on a busy DC street. I had to pay for towing myself to avoid freezing. The next morning (December 6), they called police (Rockville and Prince George's County), claiming I failed to return the rental. They also told officers my Florida license was "fake" or fraudulent. Police cleared me immediately. I repeatedly explained my disabilities (immune-compromised, OCD, ADHD, anxiety) and asked for accommodations to get my medication and belongings from the loaner (less than ¼ mile away at a friend's house). They refused and left me stranded without transportation or meds ever since. Now they demand over $14,000 in storage/rental fees--almost as much as the repair estimate--yet no work was ever done on my car. I have video, emails, bills, and records. But they did a great job of fixing up my car after a deer savagely decided to cross into my path whilst I was doing 50. They sorted everything out after a single phone call. The towing, the dealing with two insurance companies (I was doing uber at the time, The deer didn't have insurance!) They kept me informed of what was happening via a text update every two days. Sucked that there was a delay due my AC compressor going faulty, but they sorted it out during the 100 degree temps that we were having. Very happy with their service. Then the liner inside the wheel was not properly secured, so my wheel was grinding when I went over bumps or turned too far left.
