I see I'm clearly not the only person having issues with these furniture protection companies, because this is EXACTLY how they steal people's money. They sell you these "protection plans," maybe come out one time, spray some mystery liquid on your furniture, and then when the issue comes back, suddenly they have an excuse why they can't help you. In my case, I bought a dining set with light-colored cloth seats. We have a toddler/granddaughter, so naturally there were a couple stains. I filed a claim, they came out, sprayed something on the chairs, the stains disappeared, and they told me if they came back to call them and they'd look at another solution. Fast forward a few months. We barely even use this dining table except for holidays or cookouts. After a recent barbecue, there were a couple NEW stains added from little barbecue fingers, but I also noticed the ORIGINAL stains had bled back through the fabric where they previously treated them. I pulled the original claim photos, and you can CLEARLY see that part of the staining is identical to the original damage they "fixed," plus the few newer spots. So I call them, explain this, and they tell me: "Unfortunately, this is considered an accumulation of stains." No... unfortunately, it's not. What you're calling "accumulation" is literally the original stain bleeding back through after YOUR treatment failed. Your own photos would prove that. But instead of honoring the warranty, they just make up wording to deny the claim. So essentially: * They didn't actually fix the issue the first time * The damage returned * They can verify it returned from previous claim photos * And now they're using that same unresolved issue as the reason to deny coverage Absolutely insane. And did I mention when you call Sam's and tell them what's going on, they pretend to listen and care and say, "Oh, we'll write this down and let a manager know." Well apparently LOTS of people have been "writing it down" and LOTS of managers have been "notified," because judging by these reviews, this has clearly been going on for quite a while. At this point, throw the whole furniture store away So here's my honest advice: Buy the furniture if you want to. It's decent enough for a few years. But DO NOT waste your money on the furniture protection plan. It's smoke and mirrors. Zero stars if I could. read more

I bought an electric swivel recliner built by Parker House in January 2025. After a couple days of use I noticed the arms were sinking in the middle. After a couple weeks the arm padding seemed to be gone and the indentation was about 1 1/2" deep. I should have notified Sams at that time but I can fix most everything so I bought some arm covers. Well the arms were not enough of a problem then the seat springs weakened to a point that I was sinking in my own recliner. The 12 month warranty period is over by a couple months so Parker House is off the hook. The employee at Sams said I could bring it to Sams and they would give me an estimate to have it fixed. I had already paid over $800 for the recliner and now I would have to pay to have it fixed. Well that's the last time I will step foot int Sams and I certainly will not be buying any Parker House products. $800 down the drain. read more

If you're going to want warranty with your purchase, take your business elsewhere. They will refuse to help you with issues after your purchase until you go through the warranty company, and the warranty company is awful. Took 2 weeks of pestering them to even get a response and then they denied half the claim and said I'd have to file it differently. All the while Sam's refused to do anything about it and my recliner was totally unusable, stuck in a fully reclined position in the middle of the living room. Unacceptable service, especially considering this was an extra purchase for this coverage. Want options? Go try Hank's, Bassett or Ashley furniture instead and save yourself a headache. And never spend you money on the warranty at Scam's furniture. It's thievery. read more

They sell absolute garbage. They don't stand behind their quality and use a warranty company that will only fix the item if there is 1 issue. Having a table with more than one quality issue they won't do anything about it because it's 1 year and 15 days old. I would suggest using a reputable furniture store. read more

I really wanted to like Sam's Furniture because the staff is always nice, but the furniture quality is terrible. When I bought my house 4 years ago, I purchased a couch, mattress, and dresser. Within just 6 months, the very expensive mattress sank (I'm a small person), and the dresser literally collapsed. After a frustrating month-long back-and-forth, they finally let me exchange the mattress, but only for store credit since they "don't give refunds." The replacement mattress also sagged within a few months, and again I was given store credit. I just had to throw out the dresser I bought here because they never did anything to make it right. I then tried an electric recliner, broken straight out of the box. They replaced it after a week. With more store credit, I got Adirondack chairs, one had a hole that wasn't drilled, and the other had stripped holes. Used up the last of the credit on three wood chairs (after waiting six weeks), and one arrived with a huge chip out of it. This cycle has gone on for 4 years. Every time, something is wrong, and I've since learned from others that my experience isn't unique. Bottom line: Sam's Furniture sells junk. Don't waste your time or money here. read more

***BUYER BEWARE*** purchased a mattress from them, salesman suggested we open a line of credit, zero interest.. set it up and put it in minimum payment. We set it up on auto draft and forgot about it. 2 years later, we're being back charged 34.99% Apr for the past 18 months with forgoing interest. Cost us an extra 1k on a mattress, that we could have just paid for up front if the shady sales guy hadn't pushed the "0%" APR line of credit!! I bought a couch and loveseat and when I got home with the furniture started unboxing they were 2 different colors. Then they brought me the correct color couch after I returned the incorrect one. Turns out the new correct couch was missing the bolts to attach the armrest. They told me they had to order them from the manufacturer. So now it's been 2 months I called today and was told that the bolts needed for the couch won't be shipped until end of June. I will avoid buying anything from this company in the future. We stopped into Sam's to purchase a bed, sofa and bar stools for our daughter who was moving into her first apartment. The salesman, I think his name was Doug, did an excellent job of showing us around but also backing away to give my daughter time to walk around, pick and choose. Between the regular store and the Outlet store we managed to get all the items on the shopping list and they were delivered and assembled the next day. Yes, the sales guy was obviously a little pushy, as that's what sales guys do, but we never felt harassed or pressured into purchasing any of the items. Continuing our quest to visit nearly every furniture store in Northwest Arkansas, we stopped into Sam's (no relation to the Sam's Clubs or Sam Walton). Wow, you can tell which stores work on commission and which ones have their sales people on an "up" system. We were greeted by a sales associate right as we walked in the door. Compared to other stores, Sam's is a bit lower in cost. The sales floor is more about showing the merchandise, whether they are stand-alone pieces or part of a set. They're not big into selling the accents here at all, which I find a whole lot easier for shopping. Less clutter! The sales guy knew right off that we didn't have exactly what we needed, but he was able to show us to a piece that was "close". Not close-enough. read more

Our second visit to Store. Tim the salesman meet us at the door & helped us while we looked around. We were the Only customers in the store. We wanted a recliner/rocker chair for our grandson's room. Bought that and a dresser w/a mirror too. It was 4pm by the time we checked out & paid with Alyson! She told us we couldn't get it delivered today but tomorrow or after would work. We could pick our day. I told her tomorrow(7/14). Filled out paperwork. Stayed home ALL DAY was trying not to get upset. By 7pm I was. On paperwork that Alyson gave us It says to only contact delivery company. So I texted him. He had NO idea who I was or what I was to get. I thought I would try Sam's even if it was after hours. Caden answered the phone! Sure enough Sam's lost our paperwork!!!! He did own it but wouldn't tell who dropped the ball. He Did apologize also. Which is more than someplaces will. I'm stilling wait to see if furniture comes tomorrow (7/15) 11-1pm window. I know I will be calling right after 1. Not waiting alday again. I was blown away by my experience with Sam's furniture! I just had surgery for Malignant Mesothelioma and I was using a walker to walk around the store. Barry was incredibly helpful and made my search for a recliner a breeze! I was able to find just what I was looking for within 30 minutes! When I went to check out, Rebecca overheard me talking to Barry about my surgery. When I got to the counter, she held my hand and asked me if she could pray for me! My first experience here was great. We were paying cash though. This review is based on a very personal experience so bear with me. We needed a new king sized mattress and box springs. So we went there based on our past experience. Because of dropping in our financial status we decided to apply for credit. Now I have 2 retirement pensions and a disability pension as well. We live comfortably but our debt to income score took a hit. My credit is not perfect but it's pretty darn good. Making an emergency move half way across the country for us to be back home, setting up a new household in a new house took down our savings. Ok said all of that to come to applying for credit. Yada, yada, yada. Our salesperson kept trying to talk us into sets we did not want but that's expected because he wants his commission. Ok we pick out our set... they run our credit and we are denied. Dang. New house, new car, reduced income ok ... but mice got into our bedding while in storage. We leave go to another furniture store. We are approved for a $5000 line of credit from the SAME company Sam's claims denied us. Later we called said bank they found no record of Sam's applying for our credit. They stated it was odd because how would they deny me at one store then approve it less than 3 hours later. On our quest to find the perfect sectional, we have stopped in twice to this location. I am always alarmed by the way the salesmen follow you around the store, continually asking if you need help. After reading other reviews, I was surprised to see that other customers have not been helped. The couple of times I have been here, there have been at least 15 salespeople on the floor, scouting for customers like vulchers, which is very off putting for me. I have not purchased from the Springdale location as of yet, but they do have a variety of nice items. The showroom is well maintained and clean. They even offer a game room for kids. I am a fan of their Rogers location, where I do not feel bombarded by salesmen upon entry to the store. The prices are very affordable and quality is up to par. read more

Salesperson KirkLin lied to us. Don't let the shiny model furniture fool you don't come here, waste of time. Salesperson claimed our Jackson furniture was all removable/ washable (I have a cat, dog and baby) it wasn't. When delivered our furniture was stained, scratched, and chipped with rust inside our lamps. This was our first experience with a sales person in Arkansas and we truly believed everything that was said because most Arkansawyers operate with honesty and with God in mind. I am appalled at the delivery company who admitted they stained parts of the couch with dirty hands then asked me to sign away that the condition was fine (Done aright Delivery) as well as with the tech who came to my home and said he'd clean the stains(sams furniture tech) He made a joke to me about removing the covers and how it would be possible if I planned on removing the entire material and back cover and that's possibly what the sales man meant. He also came in and out and left without notice, my husband almost thought he was an intruder, communication would help! Once he left he didn't communicate that he broke the lamp further upon trying to fix the rusted inside, makes sense as to why he stormed out without a proper goodbye and I had to stop him in the hallway. Oh and they fixed the scratches on the tables by putting brown paint on them. I paid top dollar for used or badly stores furniture and nasty customer service. The young lady who said "oh we will see if we can refund you since you have a cat" my cat stays in our garage she's an ESA. I will NEVER come back to this poor excuse of a business. First, I spent a few thousand dollars on a couch, loveseat and dining set that have been nothing but problems. The screws on the chairs fall out and the bench has broken twice. All the legs on the loveseat have collapsed and both mechanisms for the recliner are broke and stay out. I realize this is a manufacturer issue however, I have contacted sams multiple times to get it repaired. They stapled the legs back on and "adjusted" the mechanism. Within 2 weeks they were broke again. When I called to have it repaired they refused to come and fix it on the weekends (the only days I have off work). The service manager is a woman named Michelle that is extremely rude and has no business dealing with the public. I would rather have my teeth pulled out than deal with these people again. read more

I came to their Springdale location last Friday morning for their "Grand opening"... or reopening. We've been meaning to buy a King bed for a while, so once we got the flyer in the mail for their event I decided now is the time! Arrived right when they opened. There were a ton of salesmen at the door waiting for customers. They had music playing, balloons, etc. for the event. I have bought from them before, but at their Rogers location. We bought a kitchen table and a sectional and have been very pleased with them. The salesman who helped me this past Friday was very nice and helpful. I asked to be shown one of their bedroom sets that was in the ad. The ad was a little misleading because it alluded that the price included more than it did, so I ended up not purchasing it. However, I looked at the mattresses since we were in need of a new one. There are a lot to choose from, but narrowed it down to my price range and then tested them out. I found a bed with the perfect softness and firmness, woohoo! The sale price was great and it came with box springs. In addition I bought a mattress cover. Checking out was easy and set up next day delivery. Overall, great furniture store. Great selection and prices. Very big store, so don't get lost! read more

I have shopped here for almost 2 years and have spent close to $10k on furniture. Our regular salesman, Rick, was always helpful and if we had any problems at all, he was there! He has since left the company. July 2016, we bought a Bernhardt coffee table ($850). This past December a leg broke off when I moved it to vacuum. Remembering it had a full warranty, plus a warranty bought through Sam's Furniture I didn't worry one bit. I called the store and was told they aren't sure it will be covered because it's wood. We had several back and forth calls, at which time I was told by Cade, he didn't know how it was covered, but could send me the warranty information to read. REALLY?! I know it's covered. He was the warranty expert representing the company! Isn't that what he's paid to do??? He seriously told me they don't sale much for Bernhardt, they are a higher end company! Lol! I asked him if I should have bought from a higher end store down the road and what exactly is his job there if he can't read the warranty and do it himself. He finally resolved the issue and I received a new table, on behalf of Bernhardt, in January. Fast forward to last month. I bring home a mattress that was ultimately ripped at the seams. I called, talked to Tanya, and was told not worried we'll replace it. Come Tuesday it had rained.... a LOT!! Guess what? The Sam's Furniture delivery drivers pulled into my yard and had to have a semi pull them out, destroying my yard! No worries, right?! WRONG! I called and talked to Chris who assured me he talked to the owner and all would be taken care of. Just send him pics and the yard would be made new. Haven't heard a word! My elderly neighbor came over with his tractor & fixed it while we were gone this last weekend. Absolutely ridiculous!! They have lost this once loyal customer's business.!! read more
