We were driving through Hammond and decided to stop at Doughlicious. The donuts are wonderful and fresh. My husband said that his caramel apple donut tasted like a caramel apple. The filling was generous and the caramel frosting was perfection. His kolache was excellent, filled with sausage and cheese. I got the donut holes, chocolate and the raspberry filled with superfine sugar on the outside. The best donut holes I have ever tasted. The young lady behind the counter was very helpful and friendly. This place is a little off the beaten path, but well worth the drive. We will be back! read more

We drive from Denham Springs to get their donuts..yes they are that good. Was late today and about 10:00 we were number 23 in a line of cars. Holy huge ass donuts Batman! A lot of variety here. And they are huge. And for $.89. Better deal than Dunkin (and I love Dunkin). I ordered 3 and currently as I write this review have only eaten 1. It was the french apple and it was full of filling and very fresh. I also ordered a chocolate cream and a boston creme. Cant wait to sink my teeth in to these other 2. Their doughnuts are good, but their kolaches are disgusting and even at 9am were cold, stale, and the slices of sausage (each one only has a single slice of sausage for some reason) were dried out from sitting for hours in some of them and raw from not having been cooked all the way hours earlier when I'm assuming they may have been fresh. read more

This place is awesome!! The staff is super friendly and the king cakes/doughnuts are some of the best around. I purchased the almond crunch king cake (fried, of course ;-) and it was delicious. Its basically a huge doughnut with loads of goodies on top and inside. It was super light, moist and delightful. I'm not a traditional king cake fan, so I prefer the "doughnut" type. This is one of the best, if not the best, I've had. Their donuts are also really delicious. If you're ever in the Hammond area, give this place a try. You won't be disappointed. I'll start with the negative...there were two female employees working the counter that day. This may sound weird...the customer service was rude, but in a nice way. One example, an employee asked how she could help us. We stated it was our first visit. She replies, "Well, let me know what you'd like when you know what you want." Pardon me? Can you suggest some items or explain the items since some of them are out of place? But she came back and stated if we didn't see anything, they may have it in the back and she offered to warm my kolache. Anywho, to the positive...I thought I was a Krispy Kreme girl, but these donuts definitely have me reconsidering! They weren't too sweet and they weren't dry. We didn't even get them warmed and they were absolutely delightful. I also tried the jalapeño kolache, which was petty good as well. I just wish we would have known about this place sooner and the customer service wasn't as rough around the edges. Other than that, this will be my regular donut stop when I'm in the area. read more
