I brought it home and put it in my garage as I was going to be traveling. I went to use it yesterday and the rear tire was completely flat. I tried to pump it up but the air was seeping out. I brought it back up to Buchika's today and the service guy put a new inner tube in and gave me the package from it with $10 marked on it. I went to the register and told the person there what had happened and they proceeded to ring up the register for a $17 charge. I asked him why I would have to pay for something that was obviously defective as I hadn't even put my ass on the bike seat yet. He proceeded to tell me that if you leave a bike sitting too long the tires will get flat. I reiterated that is was less that a month since I bought it. He was not interested in discussing it at all. Needless to say I am very dissapointed in the customer service and will not be recommending anyone buy from Buchika's.

Not only is David a master of his craft, but he also shared a lifetime's worth of knowledge throughout the process. His passion for what he does is unmatched. In my opinion, he's the best boot fitter in New England, if not the entire country. They simply don't make people like him anymore, and no one will ever be able to replace the level of care and expertise he brings. Turns out, the store manager (Dan) is extremely knowledgable beyond my means and has ridden or used almost everything he sells, fact. Long story short, he spends over 2 hours with me and I leave with a completely new setup... Never Summer board (he ordered the right length for me), Rome bindings, a 686 water resistant jacket, INI water resistant boarding pants, and a neck warmer. I spent so much money (by choice, he was not pushy at all), dude hooks me up with a few extras, puts my set up together to my liking, tunes it, and waxes it at no additional charge. This place rocks. It is NOT a discount snow gear store. You pay for what you get, including the service. They carry the brands that actually care about the riders and they personally ride their own gear too prove it. She helped me place an order for a hat for my daughter. I was told I would have email confirmation within 5 days. On 8/13 I called customer service to determine when I should receive my hat, as I didn't get an email. I was told that they didn't have the hat and a refund would be issued in 3-5 business days. I waited until 8/21 to determine where my refund was. I was told again that it would be processed soon, and that a note would be put in to have it processed ASAP. I called again on 8/27 and was told it can take 3-5 business days (the 27th is 5 days) and was finally informed that a check was being sent, and I was given a check number. It is now 22 days after my initial order and still no refund has been issued, and all of the communication has been prompted by me. This really isn't the way to do business in today's age. I will no longer do business with Lids, and strongly urge you to read other reviews for Lids online ordering before you order. My story is not an anomaly. Buyer beware.
