Unfortunately, I had a different experience than what Jason D and Nancy T wrote in their reviews. One thing that sets IM Detail Service apart from the competition was the Saturday and Sunday availability, by appointment, that I saw on their website: https://mccleandetails.com/. On Friday, I used the online booking platform to reserve a 12pm appointment on Sunday. I received automated text and email confirmations and reminders about the appointment. However, just before 8:30am on Sunday, I received an email from owner Issac McClain saying, "Unfortunately, I am unable to accommodate your service today. Is there another day that could work with your schedule?" Luckily I was flexible, but this could be a problem for people who have tighter schedules and obligations. I replied to Issac's email, about an hour later, to reschedule and never got a response. I called the IM Detail Service number the next day around 9:45am. It went straight to voicemail. I left a voicemail and didn't receive a response to that either. Finally, around 2:30pm, I used the website's online booking platform again to reserve another appointment, this time on Tuesday at 11am. I received more booking confirmations via text and email, but no one showed up or contacted me on Tuesday. I'm not sure what's going on and I hope everything is OK. I was interested in a wash, wax, and interior detail which is priced at $160 on the IM Detail Service website. The price is comparable to what I've paid over the past few years to the aforementioned companies. The price is also well below what I've been quoted in the past year by New Life Auto Spa and Red Rose Mobile Detailing. For the same/similar services.

Multiple other customers reported similar problems with Washnwerk. Here's what happened: I brought my car in for a window tint and picked it up to find damage on the rear driver's side of my vehicle -- white paint transfer and my light blue paint scraped off. When I discovered the damage, the manager, Garrett, acknowledged it looked like a white car had hit my car and verbally agreed to cover the cost of the repair. My partner witnessed this interaction including Garrett saying "We'll cover the cost of the damage because I don't want you to leave here feeling like we screwed you over." I did not file a police report that day because I trusted his word. I included a photo of my car that I took immediately upon discovering the damage. Upon sending him the quote for the damage, he claimed his employees denied causing the damage and that his ring camera footage showed nothing happened to my car. But that footage was conveniently deleted before anyone could review it. He also denied ever promising to pay for the damage. Because I trusted his initial commitment and didn't file a police report right away, I lost the opportunity to have law enforcement review that footage; law enforcement said they would have confiscated the footage the day the damage was discovered if I had filed a police report. I inspected my car for bird droppings the day before dropping it off at Washnwerk and a witness can confirm they didn't see the damage before it was left in their care. I am now stuck with a $1,000 deductible on a property damage claim for damage I am certain occurred at this business. I looked over the reviews left for Washnwerk on Google and found 6 other reviews describing damage to customers' vehicles such as exterior damage and new stains in the interior. In every instance, the customer reports that the damage was never remediated or at least doesn't mention any remediation. Washnwerk commented on one of these reviews claiming they wanted to make it right, but the customer didn't update their review to confirm any remediation had happened. One reviewer reported the exact same experience as me -- an initial offer to pay, later retracted. There are screenshots of these reviews below. I'd hate for this to happen to anyone else. Please choose a detailing company that stands behind their work and takes responsibility when something goes wrong. If you've had a similar experience and haven't shared it yet, please do share.

After coming out, I found that the car wash had left significant scratches on the passenger side of the hood continuing towards the passenger door. Another gentleman had the same scratches in a similar place on his car, and he also went through a similar experience as I lay out in this review. I immediately alerted the staff on site. They had 2 teenagers working who could not have cared less. After about 40 minutes, we finally got a manager on the phone, who had us fill out a form to report the damage. I submitted the form and emailed it to the manager. Within a week, I obtained an estimate to fix the damage for about $500. I provided that by email to the manager. What followed was the most unprofessional series of events I've ever experienced. The manager essentially ghosted me. No response after multiple emails. No follow up from corporate. I waited until today to attempt to receive a response, but I'm fed up with waiting and am posting this review in hopes that Whistle Express corporate steps in to make this right. Do not take your car to this car wash. If their wash damages your car, you will never hear from them again in getting the damage fixed.
