As the partner of an employee who recently worked with this company, I feel compelled to speak up…read moreabout the unacceptable treatment my partner received from Joe Ochs the new owner. My partner is a hardworking minority man who showed up and gave his full effort--working long hours in 98-degree heat to fulfill the job requirements as agreed upon. Not only was he underpaid for the labor he completed, but he was also told that his payment would be delayed until the following week, despite being clearly informed that he would be paid on Friday. That was the agreement, and for a working man with a family to support, that delay and lack of respect is more than just an inconvenience--it's disheartening and unjust. To treat any worker this way--especially someone who honored their end of the deal in extreme conditions--is unprofessional and exploitative. People deserve fair pay for fair work, and no one should be left waiting or wondering if they'll be compensated properly, especially after enduring such conditions. This experience reflects a serious lack of integrity and accountability that no company should tolerate.
