My partner is a hardworking minority man who showed up and gave his full effort--working long hours in 98-degree heat to fulfill the job requirements as agreed upon. Not only was he underpaid for the labor he completed, but he was also told that his payment would be delayed until the following week, despite being clearly informed that he would be paid on Friday. That was the agreement, and for a working man with a family to support, that delay and lack of respect is more than just an inconvenience--it's disheartening and unjust. To treat any worker this way--especially someone who honored their end of the deal in extreme conditions--is unprofessional and exploitative. People deserve fair pay for fair work, and no one should be left waiting or wondering if they'll be compensated properly, especially after enduring such conditions. This experience reflects a serious lack of integrity and accountability that no company should tolerate. I sincerely hope that leadership and other partners considering working with this company take a hard look at how workers, especially minority employees, are being treated--because this is not just about money, it's about fairness, dignity, and basic human decency. Got an estimate to trim 4 overgrown trees that were touching our home. The estimate was done…read morequickly, price was great, and the crew should up about a week later to do the work. Five guys spread out and worked for 2 hours making things look better than I could have imagined. They took great care to shape and prune the trees perfectly and left the area around the trees immaculate. I just wish I had taken before and after pictures! While another tree service said our only option was to cut down the entire tree, the Lopez team dealt solely with the broken limb. We may later lose the tree but Mr Lopez was open to working to save it, at least for as long as possible. He also showed us where it was compromised and it another piece fell, how that would happen, which comforted us to know it was far from the house and cars. He provided an estimate during the discussion and his team came the following afternoon. They didn't hurt our yard with equipment and didn't leave a mess of wood chips. There's other work we will opt to do later when the expense can be budgeted rather than a surprise. I hate that our tree was hurt and paying money for the fix also hurt! Several of our neighbors recommend and use this team. We will also recommend them to others.

I had a chance for overtime that day, which I turned down to make sure I was home by 4:30 to meet with Jeremy. 4:30 came and went, and I was sitting around, waiting on him to show up. At 5:15 I call him and ask what is going on. He is very apologetic and saying "oh man" several times and starts talking about how bad the traffic is but says he can be at my house by 6 PM. I'm a little upset, but I agree to wait until 6 and meet with him. 6 PM comes by. . .and nothing. At 6:30, now two hours after our original appointment and 30 minutes after he just told me he'd be there a little over an hour prior, he's still not there. I call again, and he just starts saying "oh man" over and over again, and mumbles something about traffic being bad. He says maybe he can be there a little after 7 PM. No. I said no. I'll find someone else. If someone is this bad at simply keeping an appointment, and bad at communication that he can't communicate if he's going to be late, why should I trust him with a project at my home?
