The prices are pretty reasonable for most items. There is quite a bit to look at, and during my visit the staff is quite smiley and welcoming. I read about various things to do in Alaska that one cannot do in other parts of the United States. Ice Alaska was an awe-inspiring opportunity that I could not afford to miss. When I stepped out of the taxi cab, I froze in place. It was overwhelming! Forget about the fact that it was well below zero, Ice Alaska has the power to stop you in your tracks! The sculptures are HUGE and you can even walk through them! I walked through the arch way of an ice castle to see more sculptures. As I walked around, I saw people inside of the sculptures working hard to present a creation that would appeal to the most imaginative minds. Everyone was quite focused on their job at hand. However, they were also eager to share about their experiences and to give you some background about the inspiration behind their magnificent creations! Ice Alaska is an event that people from the lower 48 would really appreciate! I plan to take another trip back to Alaska to see the progress that has made with this event!
