We stayed at the San L Resort in Galveston on a mini vacation and ended up waking up to a flat tire, we called Sam and he responded immediately. Samuel flaked on me completely and never actually came to see my car. I gave him the location, make, model, and a description of the problem. He told me he would be over once he finished up with another customer. Then he called back two hours later asking for the same information all over again. At that time he told me he would be over after picking up some replacement parts he might need. 3 HOURS later he said he was still on the way but never actually showed up or bothered to give me an update. He completely wasted my time and was unprofessional about doing the work he said he would do. If he was too busy to actually come out that's fine, but at least have the courtesy of telling me so and giving me the opportunity to find somebody else. I don't know if I would trust somebody with my car who can't even handle simple scheduling with a customer. read more

We called him to fix my friends car. We had to get the police involved. He told us he would meet up with us with the car keys and the car was fixed. He never showed up. We waited hours in the Texas heat. We found his car in a parking lot across the way 3 hours later. He was passed out and messed up on something with a gun in his front seat. Do not trust this man. Samuel saved me money on my parts, by using his account, and tore my entire front end apart and put it back together in one evening. He was diligent in making sure that everything went back together properly, knowing that I was driving 6.5 hours earlier the next morning. I drove to the hill country pulling a lowboy down some rough roads and didn't have one issue with my truck. POLICE WERE CALLED. Worst experience and service EVER. Guy came to the car and took over $200 to get parts and told us the car was ready at midnight. Went to get it the following day and told the guy we would be there at a certain time and when we went he said he was on his way and we waited OVER 3 HOURS. Then went to home depot because he said he was there 3 hours ago and he was PASSED OUT IN HIS TRUCK. We took our keys and called the cops. Then he sped off and went to block in our car. Oh and he has a gun in his car and while waiting for the police he had friends come and take stuff from his car since the police were coming. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE. Unfortunately this business turned out to be completely unreliable. After explaining my car issue, Samuel agreed to work on my car at another auto shop the following day, and failed to ever arrive. He did not call me to notify me, and ultimately the owner of the other auto shop was kind enough to look at my car for me. I got the sense that this behavior is very typical of Samuel. Samuel 's Mobile Auto Repair is second to none. I was stranded on Friday February 24th in Texas city at around 7:00 pm. Samuel dropped what he was doing and came to my family's rescue by working tirelessly to change my trailer hub, wheel and bearings. He spent probably 2 hours to complete this repair. Great Service! Last night I called Samuel around 8:00 pm after my son's Explorer overheated on the way of town. Sam was just finishing dinner and said he would come out and take a look. He found the leak and replaced the water pump and thermostat in a big store parking lot, finishing around 11:30 pm. I've now used this service for the second time. The first was over the fourth of July weekend when my son's girlfriend's car was broken into and we needed to have the window replaced so they could drive back to Dallas. Sam found the part and replaced it, working until 2:00 a.m. to get it done. Today my own car wouldn't start. I had no idea why - he figured out the problem in minutes (the relay) and had it fixed almost as fast. And talk about fair pricing! Think about this - I didn't have to pay a tow truck to get it somewhere to have it looked at - he came to my home where the car was. He fixed the problem and it was under $100.00. Who gets ANYTHING fixed on their car for that? He is pleasant to work with, fair in his pricing and just an all around nice guy. I cannot recommend him highly enough and anyone in Galveston who needs a car repair would be wise to get in touch with Sam! read more

I couldn't recommend a better person to come help when I'm stranded. I was southbound on freeway 45 to Galveston and my front tire was flat. I was stranded on the side of the freeway for over 5 hours waiting for my insurance company to send a tow truck. Since it was out of Houston, tow truck companies kept cancelling on me. It was about 10 PM and Sam stopped to help me. I didn't call nor ask him for help but he was honestly worried for my well being. He asked what was wrong and wanted to just take me off the freeway since it was dark and someone could've hit me. I assured him I didn't have any cash and I was waiting on my insurance's tow truck and he still insisted on helping even though he knew I didn't have anything to pay him with. He checked my flat and turned out my valve was bad. Without hesitant, he fixed my tire and filled it up with air. I've been living in Houston for over 10 years and have been stranded before, never encountered a nice and honest guy like Sam. If you are stranded or need auto repair, I wouldn't recommend anyone but an honest person like Sam. Without him, I would've probably had to wait much longer. read more

Right now I'm wishing I could give 0 stars I contacted Mr Samuel a week ago on Friday . Because I thought I put bad gas in my car so I wanted him to come take a look at it. He was my first choice I didn't know what I was doing it's my first time owning a vehicle but anyway he looks at it and it's not the gas problem but it's a sensor problem and that he was just trying to figure out which one it was so eventually he came to an conclusion of what he needed and told me what he needed for parts and the cost of the test he ran on my vehicle and labor all together costed $130. Parts were $80 labor was $50 overall the first night was great besides him leaving my spark plugs and my engine cover and screws just out in my engine for next The two next days and then I try contacting him. No answer He says he had his daughter that weekend and that he would be back to work the next day and that he would pick the parts up in the mornin by 10. We both confirmed and had an understanding. Monday comes I contact him around 10:30 he says he's in a meeting so I text him around 6:30 to ask about my parts no answer no show. Tuesday comes he texts me around 8:50am "writing a bad review doesn't help you just slows down" which sounds like he's prolonging this on purpose and also states he daughter fell and busted her teeth. Since then I have been begging him I mean literally begging him to come fix my car or even put my spark plugs back in and screw everything back together and pay me back for my parts if he hasn't got them and I have not got any type of response Id call and sometimes it'll ring for a little and go to voicemail other times it rings all the way out and goes to voicemail. Mr Samuel has stolen my $80 this is definitely not a legitimate business do not waste your money here he is a con man and will not be any help to you at all I recommend you spend a little extra money on a highly reviewed mechanic my experience with Samuels auto was a nightmare and he's done nothing to correct this situation even knowing everything I'm going through and with me begging him and if you have already spent money on this guy and he's cheated you I recommend you talk to your lawyer as soon as possible and take your situation to court your welcome guys read more
