Samurai is my fav fast food Sushi restaurant. I was skeptical at first: fast food Sushi...But, I was feeding a crowd and decided to try it. Please note, I haven't ever dined in. I've always taken my orders to-go. The first time I went, I wondered in and blind ordered. I paid and left to run another errand in the plaza. I came back and my food was ready. I checked the bags and all was accurate. You know what stands out to me?? They have a tip jar BUT, I haven't ever experienced hard feeling nags if I don't tip...let's not get into the eat-in vs. take out argument...TYSM. Anyhow, once I became familiar with them, I began calling my orders in for take-out. The restaurant is always clean...most times, someone's cleaning it even at different times of the day and different days. I haven't had an issue with order accuracy. For the low prices you pay, I believe the Sushi is well worth it!! Customer service is impeccable. There's literally no reason not to stop and try it. Ordered #19 the shrimp tempura soup and all I got was a cup with noodles and broth. Had it to go so didn't realize it until I got home. The soup really had nothing else in it. It was missing the shrimp and other ingredients as shown in the picture. I go there about 45min later to complain. I get a sorry and here's your shrimp. Really? If I were the owner I would say "sir, I'm so sorry. Let me remake it for you and here's a free drink or appetizer for the inconvenience." You'll have to take the words of others about the quality of the sushi. I don't eat fish at all, so I came here hoping the many good reviews would also translate to the non-sushi items. They did not. I had a beef bowl and the beef is comparable to Yoshinoya back when they first opened, thin and gristly. There was also very little of it. I am a very lite eater but I was not remotely full after finishing it, and I suppose I would have been if I had eaten the "steamed vegetables" which was primarily a pile of cabbage with a few pieces of broccoli and the massive pile of rice, but I only eat rice with meat and who really eats steamed cabbage? I don't eat vegetables at all actually, so even the few pieces of broccoli were basically a waste. I also tasted the teriyaki chicken bowl which was better than the beef with more meat, but still not really very tasty. Tempura was okay but still mainly flavorless and served with three tiny, half full containers much smaller than those that come with a bottle of Nyquil, not even close to enough considering the extreme lack of seasoning. The gyoza was not bad. Overall, unless you're looking for sushi, I would definitely not recommend this place. I'm not saying the sushi is good, just that you're probably not going to want to eat anything else. I did get a note from someone apparently affiliated with this restaurant, although she didn't identify herself as an owner or manager and her profile shows that she lives in Sparks, NV. I do appreciate her reaching out though. It's always a good sign when restaurants owners / managers consider the comments of the customers. read more

Upon entering I noticed how clean and cozy this place is. Both of the employees were super nice and welcoming and even recommended some rolls. I bought the special and a crunch roll and it was relatively less than what I'm used to paying, which is GREAT. It took about 7 minutes for my order to be ready and the blond girl brought it over to my table and was very friendly. The food is pretty delicious!
