It's easy to miss this humble nondescript poster plastered neighborhood bakery but as soon as you open the door and the smell of fresh baked bread hits you, you will be hooked! The lady at the counter is always patient in answering all my questions so I can try something new every time. I always buy their sweet and fluffy conchas as they are my boyfriend's favorite. This time I also bought what looked like a giant French Palmier that is a flaky, sugar crusted delight that's hefty enough to dip in coffee. Breakfast perfection!

The rosca de reyes was delicious. Great panadería and got the chocolate bar for free.

There's a Sign outside that says open till 9:30pm and I arrived at 8 Oclock and the bakery was already Close they need to update their website and Signs!!! That way people don't come from far away for nothing .... Needs owners attention ASP !!!!

My friend drives here to get Pan Dulce for special get togethers and I asked why and what's the difference between here and any panaderia and he said their conchas are soft and fluffy and their cinnamon iced coffee with caramel and milk. I always assumed conchas were kind of hard and crusty on the outside based on the one concha I had from a Northgate or something a long time ago. Stopped in one morning and it smelled amazing and I waited for fresh conchas to come out (the pink ones) and also ordered their iced coffee. The iced coffee was way too sweet for me, but I can see why my friend likes it. It's more of a treat-yourself coffee/dessert. It's worth the wait and they do run out so the earlier you get there the better.

I was looking for another sweet bread (Pan Dulce) location and found this one on Yelp with great reviews. The bakery is really small inside and only 5 people at a time can be in there. They have tons of varieties to choose from. I got 3 concha sweet bread for $2.25. It's not costly at all and it tasted delicious! The sweet bread was really soft and sweet. I would recommend trying this if you haven't. I will definitely come back here again. It tasted almost as good as my favorite location in San Gabriel. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's in a plaza with tons of parking.

Some Crust on the Claremont Village is still my go-to place for specialty cakes…read more I ordered a 65th birthday cake for my coworker a week ago Tuesday in person. Devin helped me to fill out the order form. It's a 9 inch round black and white cake, with raspberry jam filling and buttercream frosting. My coworker is stylish and always has her hair makeup and nails perfect so I thought elegant with pink and white roses. (The gold Happy Birthday candle I added for 3D effect and was not included.) I scheduled for 7 a.m. pickup today. There was the usual morning rush at the bakery but I was still in and out of there within 15 minutes. It turned out great!! My coworker was super happy and as always the cake itself is moist and delicious, not overly sweet. Well done, Some Crust, and thank you!

We had the absolute BEST experience with Some Crust Bakery for our wedding cake and desserts…read more Everyone we worked with was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they truly LISTENED to what we wanted. They sent us several mock-ups with colors and design styles throughout the process so we could see and approve of every little detail. We did two rounds of tastings (one at the shop and another at home) and coordinating the second round to finalize our flavors was super easy. Also, they coordinated directly with our florist to incorporate live flowers that perfectly matched the butter cream florals on the cake and the flowers on my dress. Another bakery (Cucamonga Cakery... yikes) told us this would be impossible and tried to make us feel dumb for wanting it. Some Crust made it happen EASILY. They brought our vision to life and the cake was seriously stunning! And the taste is so light and fresh! Special shoutout to Gabrielle for her quick responses, positive attitude, and overall amazing service throughout the entire process. She took care of us every step of the way. Thank you!!

Whenever I come in, bread is freshly stocked. In the mornings, I enjoy grabbing the jalapeño cream cheese bread. If I'm visiting in the afternoons, I like their brioche. I've tried an array of bread here, but these types of bread are consistently good. On an off day, I get the milky white chocolate bread. Their flan in the little ceramic jar is decent, too. It does have a slightly smaller space than other locations I've been to though, but the selection of the classics and some fun items are still there. Just a really easy location to get in and out of.

Either the owner is disconnected itself from the market place or they added some gold flakes into my drink. Oh, my dirty matcha had no shot added. Lastly, the barista placed my drink in the counter not calling the order number nor name of the drink. I sat there waiting and no one bothered to ask if I got my drink nor care what was I waiting for. I get it, it's a neighborhood joint that offers friendly services to known customers. Such a short sighted owners/ operator. The server I waved down didn't care and the lady behind the counter just 3feet from me didn't even look up. She had more important task to take care then offering a good customer experience to the person right in front of her. I won't be back. That $9 dirty matcha paid had no espresso shot was a lesson for me.
