So when I found out she had a second location and had taken over the big nail salon off Del Mar I was so happy for her and of course went right away to support at the new spot! Overall mid experience. The lady who did my pedicure couldn't have done it faster. The water was freezing, she spent maybe 8 seconds with the brush on the bottom of my feet, and another 30 seconds on the massage. She was cleaning up the pedicure bowl with one hand while "rubbing" my leg with the other. It was really disappointing. My nails are very bumpy & uneven - I needed them done for an event and ended up wearing closed toed shoes because the paint job was embarrassing. I won't return even if they offer to redo. read more

Ask for Ivy. Her work is PERFECT. She takes her time, is very precise, and doesn't build up a gel manicure too much so it gets bulky, a pet peeve of mine. Her application is smooth and she hits all the edges. My nails looked so nice! read more

Came in around dinner time for 2 walk in basic foot/leg massages. Perfectly priced, not a money grab scam like most of these places. Ladies were very sweet and a pleasure to talk to. Did a nice job. Only negative was the woman who was originally doing my sister's massage (for about 10 mins in) was doing a bad job, not really putting in any effort or pressure. Thankfully, she was switched with another woman, who was very sweet and good at it. I believe the first woman thought she could get away with no effort because my sister is very young. I came here for a quick manicure and pedicure. When it came to polishing my nails the polish in the bottle was not the same as what I chose on the sample nail. It was a complete different color. I told them I did not want Polish anymore. I will just leave them without polish, only buff and shine. They kept insisting to put some kind of color on them after I've told them multiple times I do not want color. After I left, I realized that they overcharged me. They charged me $90 for manicure number two and pedicure number five. The pedicure came with callus remover, but they did not spend much time on my calluses, and my feet are still rough and full of calluses. When I called the next day, they told me the cost which is equals $80. Another issue I have here is that they do not understand any English this makes it very difficult for the customers to communicate what they want from their service. I will not be returning. The owner called and tried to make it right and offer a gift card but I really don't want to come back here. Changing it to two stars since the owner tried to make it right. read more

I don't usually leave reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience so others don't go through the same. I came in for a Brazilian wax, and unfortunately, the service I received was not only unprofessional but completely unsanitary. The technician did not wear gloves at any point during the session, which is a huge red flag and a basic hygiene violation -- especially for such an intimate service. On top of that, I ended up developing what appears to be some kind of infection shortly after the appointment, which I now have to treat. I've never had this issue before, and given the lack of sanitary protocol, I can't help but suspect that this salon is not following proper health and safety guidelines. If you care about your health and hygiene, please be cautious before booking here. No one should have to deal with this kind of aftermath after what should be a routine appointment. read more

Went in last week for a mani pedi. I told them I wanted regular polish on toes and gel on my hands. They kept wanting me to pay more to get gel on my toes and dip on my nails. They wouldn't stop insisting until it was awkward and I visibly uncomfortable and then they said it's okay they will make them look good for me. I was positive about the experience because I wanted to treat myself to getting my nails done and wanted the vibes to be good. I asked for French tip gel and a glossy toe. The overall experience with service was pushy then Jackie was sweet and mellow. But the energy was not up to par, people should want to feel welcomed and not almost coerced to spend more money. Building customer relationships is much better way to ensure people will come back. Only five days later and my index finger chipped, out of no where. I did not apply any force to my nails, I was actually brushing my hair. Then two days later another nail chips. I'd like to go in to get it replaced but I'm not sure it's worth it at this point if I am going to be told that I should have gotten dip and that it would've last longer. I usually come up with my own designs for my gel manis and Yen + her team are rock stars. She's the owner who's always super engaged, friendly and present in running the place. Just recently moved into town. I have gone here a couple times. Went today with my daughter. We went in about 4pm. Salon was empty. Women were not hospitable. Not friendly, pushy we only got manicure and it took over an hour. After we said we only wanted a basic manicure kept pushing for more services...were rude when we said we didn't have cash... kept pressing for us to use their atm that charge a fee. It's 2024 no one carries cash. My daughter is pregnant and kept touching her stomach with out asking...just an uncomfortable experience.... Yen is the BEST. I've been her faithful client for several years. Started with nails only. I already had a "lash gal" but one day I decided to try getting a lash fill from Yen. It was a great decision. I can call or text at the last minute and she will do whatever it takes to get me in to see her. She's quick, efficient, professional, calm, detailed. She uses the best glue and lashes. My nails look amazing, my lashes look incredible. They last a long time of you take care of them. She's less expensive than lash studios and knows the particular style I like. $65 for a lash fill is still the best pricing I've seen anywhere. I don't have 2 hours to lay there with a new gal practicing on me. I need to get in and out, and I do. Nails, waxing and lashes. The best!! Try her services and how easy it is to make an appointment.
