This store on the way to work, but not necessarily the most reliable place. I can often count on friendly faces, and typical Starbucks-quality food and drinks. BUT. This store has a unique way of preparing their food that I've not witnessed in other stores. They seem to prep food, then keep it by the toasters/ warmers, etc. until they have several to put on the pick-up counter. I don't get why, but while they do this, food gets yucky, and people run late. I'll be ditching Starbucks for a while as this "stock-pile" food prep method has caused me to be late too many times. (No. I didn't ask for my money back or a free item because it's not about that. It's about using customer-service strategies that serve the customer well.)

It's not a flavor I'd normally go for and almost went for the cookie butter latte but I'm glad I tried something new. As for the hot chocolate--I've never seen my child finish a hot chocolate. Ever. She inhaled it. The shop itself was way bigger than I expected. Super welcoming and open with plenty of space and seating. It was pretty crowded but there was also still plenty of seating. We ended up sitting close to the register (I let my daughter choose where we sat) and the people behind the register were on top of it.
