This is a fun spot that has not only great coffee and pastries but also fun events throughout the month. I've been there a few times and they have stairs to enter as well as a great gradual ramp. Their main space is a bit crowded but does have some comfy couches and plenty of tables for patrons. They also have an outside porch for sunny days or those with dogs. Their staff is welcoming and pleasant and always has great recommendations. I love that they have a multitude of options and some gluten free treats too! I went for a painting time and loved it. So fun to sit and sip a beverage and chat with others while relaxing with some painting. Great for a Thursday night event. They do a variety and it is a fun time! This place is so cozy! Great place with plenty of space to meet friends and chat or to work/read. Service was friendly and fast, even though they were busy! I loved the drink I had. I had one of their seasonal lattes! I used self control but I really wanted to try a few of the drinks off their menu. The pastry case was also full of delicious pastries (some gluten free), from local bakeries. I can't believe I've passed this gem even though it's near my workplace - not missing out anymore though! I was greeted as soon as I reached the counter and the ladies were so friendly. The inside is small but there's plenty of seating out on the deck as well; the acoustics inside aren't the best and can get loud at times but still manageable enough for working or meeting up with colleagues, friends and family. I ordered the seasonal strawberry shortcake latte (iced) - it was good but I was hoping for more of a strawberry flavor, there was really only a hint of the strawberry. I ordered the Haus Burrito and it's hands down the best breakfast burrito I've had in a long time - this is going to be my new go-to breakfast item - delicious! The only thing I could say is that it needed jalapeno's or hot sauce. I then ordered the Caramel Waves Cold Brew and that was also delicious! I couldn't decide between that or the Cabin Glow Latte but the ladies made an excellent recommendation with the cold brew. Such a cozy coffee shop! We sat outside on the wraparound porch but they had inside, upstairs and downstairs seating available as well beer garden seating with the connected brewery. The menu is on the smaller side, but they did have several seasonal options. I went with the Cozy Cabin latte (vanilla and cardamom). It was pretty tasty. I also had the vegetarian breakfast burrito. Such a lovely and peaceful start to the day working on the front porch of this coffeehouse. For starters, the star of the show is Kelly, the manager who is incredibly friendly and personable. Her passion for the business through, not only in the coffee, but just the way she made everyone feel as they entered the shop. I ordered the sugar cream pie latte, which was on their special summer menu and then made my way to the shaded front porch for a few hours. The overall feel of the house definitely gives Colorado cabin vibes and is a fun change of scenery for Indianapolis. You could tell a lot of the folks here are regulars and that it has a community Vibe. Looking forward to future visits and working my way through their coffee menu. read more

The perfect place to get coffee if you want to sit outside, enjoy the weather, and sip on something iced. They also serve food and if you find that you've set outside for hours because the weather was so nice and you were having good conversation you can go next door to the brewery and enjoy a beverage from there and have lunch. I had the iced smores latte with oatmilk. It was creamy and not overly sweet. The latte consisted of a double shot of expresso, chocolate and marshmallow syrup, oat milk, and topped with whipped cream and chocolate. The barista was nice and welcoming. I came to Guggman House Brewing Co for a sour beer (some of the best sours in town btw!) and ended up getting some coffee as well. This was the first time I have been inside the Coffee Haus. I ordered the Golden Hour iced latte. It consists of shaken espresso, oat milk and turmeric. Yes, turmeric! I can't really taste it. It tastes like a regular well made iced latte. I love turmeric for the health benefits though. They also offer some lite bites for breakfast such as muffins as well as breakfast burritos. I tried the Rainbow Sunrise. It's a veggie burrito with sun-dried tomatoes, potatoes and pesto. Yum! The patio is covered in one side but mostly sunny on another for the sun worshipers out there. There is plenty of seating inside at tables as well as some nice leather sofas to relax on. They are dog friendly and even provide free Milkbones and clean water bowls with a self serve water station. The food and drinks are delicious and the baristas are really friendly and helpful. I like supporting coffee shops that are NOT Starbucks. If you're Downtown this is a hidden gem! Come check it out. read more

This little Coffee Haus is a gem! Located on the opposite side of the patio at Guggman Haus, they turned this into the coziest coffee shop. They have PLENTY of seating in here which is so nice and even have seating downstairs. They also have their wrap around patio. Truly SO MANY places to sit!! The staff was friendly and had quick service. If you order a drink "for here" you even get it in a pint glass which is so fun! I had a strawberry shortcake latte and it was good. I do think their espresso roast is a little floral, so I didn't love it...but that is just a personal preference for the type of roast! Spending a few days in town, I wanted to check out some off the beaten path shops, and this place certainly fits that. Although I passed by a number of under construction homes on the way here, it is a very industrial area, and I don't know that I would've found it without gps directions. The shop itself was fairly small, though there were a few tables inside that people were hanging out in. One of the big reasons that I stopped by was for their seasonal menu and a gingerbread latte. It was pretty standard quality for a local shop, not a bad option if you're in the area and want to try out a new place. read more

I did not even know this hidden gem was here! I usually go to the Amp when I am on this side of town, so I was delighted to discover another option. The Coffee Haus is at the end of a street that looks more like an industrial area. It was a surprising quiet street with lots of free parking! The building looks like a converted house. Upon entering I noticed several well made artisan wood tables and people enjoying their drinks while either working or visiting with friends. There is also a downstairs area that is a little quieter for a secluded place to bring your lap top and get some work done. I enjoyed a plain black coffee, but there were several other options that looked very inviting. The coffee was brewed just right! I was given the option to refill for free if I wanted. Visited the Coffee Haus at Guggman Saturday morning. The staff were super friendly. I really enjoyed talking to them about beer and other area restaurants. I always appreciate a staff that takes the time to get to know their customers. I loved that this coffee shop is next door to their brewery. The best of both worlds! They had plenty of seating which is always a plus. You can even sit in the Bier Garten. They serve the coffee in these really nice glasses. I think thats always a special touch. Such a welcome addition to the West side. The Coffee Haus at Guggman has taken over the cute little haus that used to be the whole operation of Guggman. The inside has a soft seating space and several tables with cabin style furniture. The decor is a playful nod to cabin life mixed with bright wall art. There is also a downstairs seating area for quieter areas but I prefer the sunny windows of upstairs. Additionly you are welcome to take you coffee outside to the heated patio or across the way to the inside of Guggman Haus Brewing. This is my top preference especially I'd the fireplace is burning. The coffee is supplied by local roaster Blue Mind Coffee. They have drip and a full coffee bar, and Julian Roasters Tea. They also have pastries and some delicious burritos. The Coffee Haus is open till 3 and the brewery is open from 11am till evening, it's the perfect place to work from for the day. read more

I've been meaning to check out The Coffee Haus at Guggman since it opened but I finally made it! Ambiance wise, it's just like the classic Guggman Haus we all know and love. Coffee drinks were made quickly and came out great! We ordered... Blueberry muffin latte (July special): a latte that has light notes of blueberry flavor, topped with whipped cream and blueberries Funnel cake latte (August special): a sweet caramel latte that also still has that distinct funnel cake flavor. (Both are $6.50) Both drinks are just lightly sweetened and have the option of being made with whole or oat milk. Got to check out The Coffee Haus at Guggman for the first time and I am impressed. The cozy cabin feels was exactly what I needed to feel transported out of Indy and still get my work done. I used to live near New Mexico and felt like I was in the cabins I used to go to. There are plenty of comfortable seats and tables throughout the restaurant if you wanted to come here for meetings or if you need to study! I ordered the Marshmallow Dream latte with oat milk and whip cream as well as a warmed gluten free coffee cake that they had from 4 Bird bakery. The latte the perfect - not overly sweet but warmed me up like a hug. The coffee cake was also great. I live in the neighborhood so was ecstatic when I heard that Guggman Haus was going to open a coffee shop! They opened in May and I have not been disappointed by a single thing on the menu! There is a cozy atmosphere and the staff are all delightful human being! I get coffee here at least once a week and that won't be changing any time soon. There's plenty of indoor seating, with tables to work from. Of course, the massive Guggman patio is available as well, for those warmer days. I haven't been back in this building at Guggman since they first opened! It's perfect as a coffee shop and it was fairly busy when I came with a friend. I had to try the blueberry muffin latte and the breakfast burrito. Sadly they were out of salsa verde. The burrito was great without it! The blueberry latte was nicely made with freeze dried blueberries and optional whipped cream. They only had one person working and they were working quickly but everything came out fairly fast. This review is overdue! My husband and I just came across this little gem on the west side of Indy a week ago. How have we missed it?! It is part of a brewery that we now plan to visit. This house is so cozy and makes you feel like you should be in Montana or Wyoming! There is a decent amount of free parking next to the house. The barista (I feel bad that I can't recall his name :/), who served us, was very friendly and attentive to details. He made their haus latte for me and helped make it less sweet, then even checked to make sure it wasn't too sweet after I tried it. I really appreciated him asking that. They are located on my way in to work from the north side and they open at 7AM so they're going to become my coffee stop when I'm driving into the office one day a week. The best brewery in Indy now has a "Coffee Haus" that is just as good!! Coffee Haus is a brand new business in the cozy wooden house right next to the Guggman Haus beer garden. As soon as I walked in I felt like I was home with the woody scent mixed with warm fresh coffee. There are tables all throughout the top floor, a few in the basement for a quieter work environment, and lots of tables outside for enjoying the nice summer weather! For the coffee lovers, the drinks are made with Tinker coffee and the Haus latte looked like a must try! For the non-coffee drinkers, there are a wide variety of teas and Italian cream sodas (my favorite summer drink)!! I got the strawberry cream Italian soda and it was the perfect light afternoon drink for the outdoor seating in the sun!! There are also snacks and breakfast burritos (vegetarian options available) for anyone needing a bite to eat while working! The staff is so friendly and makes you feel like you are a part of the Gugg family! The Coffee Haus hours are Wed-Sat 7AM-2 PM -- the perfect stopping time to walk over to the Guggman Haus main building to grab some lunch and a beer!
