I recently visited San Diego Hair Extensions, and[[HIGHLIGHT]] I couldn't be happier with their services[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]! I reached out last minute, and[[HIGHLIGHT]] they were incredibly accommodating, even fitting me in the same day[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. The quality of the extensions is superb, and my stylist's talent truly showed in the final result. I highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for professional service and beautiful hair. My stylist Diana was amazing, and her professionalism and skill exceeded my expectations. Thank you[[HIGHLIGHT]], Diana, for making me feel fabulous! And a sp[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]ecial thank you to Toma for going the extra mile so that I could be seen so quickly and for taking the time to explain the process and aftercare instructions in such great detail.
I have been going to SD Hair Extensions for almost a year and every time I am so happy that this is my studio. [[HIGHLIGHT]]From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a warm smile.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You are always offered refreshments to make your experience more comfortable. I have had 3 different stylists and I have been happy with each of them. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Today I want to highlight Anna. Anna is kind, patient, and thorough.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The booking is very easy and this place is just a joy![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]
I regret not listening to the other 1-star reviews I read beforehand. The staff doesn't speak English, so you can't properly communicate with your stylist about what you want or need--and they don't ask either. Here's a summary of my experience over three visits and why I would recommend trying somewhere else: Consultation: They take you into a room full of hair, which looks promising. But you can't choose the hair you want. It's around $850 for 100 grams of hair, including installation. This was the selling point for me because the hair they showed me seemed nice and the price was less than other places. Day of Installation: They take me back to the hair room, and I asked for curly hair since mine is wavy. They only had one shade of brown to choose from, which was super warm/red-toned (exactly what I said I didn't want). There were plenty of other colors, but it's all for show. They didn't let me pick out the good hair--they gave me the worst quality. The stylist picked a reddish brown and said it would blend, but I'm not even sure she understood me, as she didn't speak English. She also chose a blonde color, which was a standard yellow blonde with no variation. When they installed the hair, it was wavy but nice. However, they didn't blend the colors at all. I looked like a zebra. I told them it looked bad and asked for the colors to be blended. They said it looked fine and just swapped out a few brown pieces for blonde. I was extremely disappointed with the color. They're not real stylists--they're just people who glue in hair. When I told them I was unhappy, they told me to come in, but insisted that it "matched" and there was nothing more they could do but trim it a little. If you ever have an issue, they'll just blame you instead of trying to make things right. Post-Installation: I ended up dyeing my hair to make it look less crazy, but after washing it, the curls looked horrible, nothing like they did when it was first installed. After all of this, I decided to have them reinstall the hair because I didn't want to take it to another salon. I went in to have them remove it and returned the next day for the reinstall since I couldn't get everything done in one visit. When they installed the hair, it was literally half of what I had the day before. Either they steal the hair to resell it or simply don't bother reinstalling everything, so I ended up losing half of the hair I paid for, which was supposed to last a year. When I complained, they blamed it on improper brushing, but I came in with more hair the day before--so how could that be my fault? I'm beyond disappointed with this place. Every time I've asked for help, they blame me and never take responsibility. If you want a cheap install and have a solid brown or blond color, this place could work for you. But beware- they might loose half of your hair on the reinstall.

Mira is simply the best! Her incredible scalp massage and deep conditioning treatment are heavenly, but her wash, dry, and blow-out is what completes my entire week. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I always leave her studio feeling like the most beautiful version of myself.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A visit to Mira is an absolute must!
WARNING! This company sells poor-quality hair and ignores requests for proof it's 100% virgin Slavic human hair. I had extensions installed June 11 by a student who used too much product, leaving my hair oily, stringy, and unwearable. Even after multiple washes and 2 return visits, the problem never went away--my hair was cut unevenly and still looked greasy. Less than two months later, I was told I'd need to pay $850+ for new hair because the texture was "wrong." They chose the texture for me at our consultation so if it was 'wrong' then obviously it was their fault not mine. Update: After 2 1/2 months, many extensions had fallen out, leaving bald patches. Another professional confirmed they were installed improperly, causing damage and breakage. I lost a significant amount of hair and had to pay $250 just to have them removed by a professional. All in all I am out $1600.
This hair salon studio is one of the best I've ever been to. Their hair extensions are top tier quality. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Their service & the ladies who work there are professional & highly experienced.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their level of expertise shows in their in depth consults with you, their advanced level knowledge of different types of techniques & ways to make your hair beautiful. When you come to their studio, you'll see all the awards & certificates they've received & it's impressive! Before I moved to San Diego, I would plan my trips to San Diego around when I needed my next hair appointment so I could come to their studio. They're amazing! Highly recommend.
Love this place, I'm very rough on everything I own. My phone my car, my clothes, so I was concerned, that the extensions might not work for me or come out easily, not at all. [[HIGHLIGHT]]These extensions are gorgeous, the girls here will make sure you know how to care for your hair once installed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. didn't require me to do anything out of the ordinary besides putting my hair up before bed which I needed to do anyways. So over all I'm definitely recommending this place to anyone who wants their dream hair. I'm from a long line of very fine, Caucasian female hair. Some women have a wonderful head of full hair, some don't, I didn't, I grew up on Disney movies of this beautiful full hair and that's what I wanted. And that's what I got!!! Love it

I NEVER leave reviews, I've gone here now 3 times. First 2 times was with Ulia which was amazing & this time was with Brittany which I completely fell in love with her process, her transparency & everything in between. I'm a hair dresser of 10+ years so having her include my opinion on every step of the way was super relieving as I'm always worried about what it's gonna look like. This place is absolutely outstanding and I'm so incredibly happy with my hair extensions I got 150 grams of 22 inch k tips and I love how they turned out and I feel so beautiful again I got my shine back the hair is amazing quality pure Slavic hair is so nice and within 2 days I don't even notice they or feel it in my head anymore. WOW! So I visited Maryana at SD Hair Extensions Studio after doing a lottt of research and could not be happier that I did! This salon is the real deal!!! I've had every hair color under the sun and various types of extensions from different stylists but this is by far the best color and extensions I've ever had and the whole experience from beginning to end was very pleasant and enjoyable. The ladies working here are so, so sweet and genuinely care about you and your hair and want you to be happy! Like I said, I've had multiple types of extensions before from clip-in to sew-in, but the clip-ins were annoying because they took so long to put in and take out and usually ended up falling out anyways and the sew-in wefts just felt way too bulky and heavy and really limited my ability to wear my hair up and feel comfortable working out (which is extremely important to me and a huge downside that caused me to take them out). Both methods also made me concerned about hair damage/loss. I can say now having tried the keratin micro fusion method, it is definitely the way to go! Attaching lots of small and light bundles of gorgeous extension hair to your natural hair, they achieve a much lighter feel and more natural look than just one chunky weft. I can easily put my hair up in the highest ponytail/bun without any pulling/discomfort or the extensions or keratin bonds showing AT ALL. Night and day from what I had before. Not only are the extensions amazing, but my color transformation was beautiful too! I came in with medium length brown hair with caramel highlights and left with the most beautiful sandy blonde, super long hair (see photos for before and after). Maryana saw my inspo picture and brought my dream to life while still respecting the integrity of my hair and avoiding damage to it. If you're considering extensions, I highly recommend SD Hair Extensions. Take it from someone who's tried it all - they really know what they are doing and will not let you down! I'm so, so happy with my hair and you will be too :) P.S. I've always been wanting to do hair extensions for quite awhile now because my hair is really thin but haven't found the right place that meets my needs until my friend suggested me this place. I came in today to grab their model price promotion for 22inhces but since my hair is already long i did not qualify and she recommended me to get the 26inches instead of which I did. Booking and reservation/consultation is really easy and quick. Toma is very nice, she helped me understand and walk me through the whole process and the after care of my hair. Dianna who did the application/installation of my hair is very nice and did a great job. The whole process takes about 3 to 4hours roughly. They're all very nice and friendly and service is great! I'm so happy with the result and very happy with my new beautiful long hair. Thank you so much. :) read more

If you're interested in extensions THIS IS THE PLACE!! Alena and the entire staff are true extension artists! 10/10 recommend! They made it so easy to feel like I came to the right place. Super professional and AMAZING color and texture matching. I have platinum with golden undertones and my hairs a wavy texture and they combined colors to make the extensions look so natural. I had extensions a long time ago but the new capsules they installed are weightless and appear seamless. Not to mention the quality of hair is amazing. Boosting my self confidence is priceless. Alena is truly an artist! She did an amazing job of matching my current hair color. I had my hair highlighted about six months ago and she was able to piece together a few colors of extensions to complement my natural color and my old highlights. She did a beautiful job of blending it all and even created a subtle ombre effect. I chose San Diego Hair Extensions because of the great reviews and pictures, but I was nervous going into it just because I have very very fine hair and I was concerned about the final result looking natural, but I am completely blown away by the results and could not be happier.
