Normally Mexican Fast Food is all pretty similar which I love. I had high hopes for this location as Texas has great Mexican style food. Not here though.. unfortunately this isn't the same quality as your go to O's( Alberto's, Roberto's, Antonio's). The Nachos chips use horrible tasting not made in-house chips. The meat has no flavor and overall the taste is not on par with a place I would frequent. Maybe i'll go back to try something else but I don't have high hopes. read more

We stumbled upon this taco shop when we were out shopping in the area this weekend. We were so pleased to see that it reminded us of a very popular chain we frequented in Los Angeles. The menu was identical and the food was reminiscent of what we had missed when we moved here. Plenty of options of choice of meats for tacos, tostada, torta, sopes, rolled tacos (taquitos). We were overly excited because we ordered too much food and both my husband and I were overly full. The barbacoa and carnitas are a standout, but I'm sure all of their meats are delicious. They have combo plates which we didn't get so I can't speak to their rice or beans. I will say that the guacamole wasn't very flavorful. They give you lime wedges with the tacos, so we used that to jazz up the guacamole. The restaurant is unassuming and welcoming. The staff was friendly. It was nice to hear Spanish speakers. Having lived in San Diego, this place reminds of a local taco shop in California. The flavors are more akin to the Mexican food you would find there. There is less cheese associated with the Tex Mex (which I love too) here in Texas. I got the Picadillo and Fajitas tacos. The tacos were small but comparable to street tacos in size at other places. This place is not as fancy as Torchy's or Rusty's Tacos. The quality is better than a fast food chain like Taco Cabaña or Taco Bueno. Will come back again. read more

This place is literally 0.3 miles from the condo, my husband has already been here a few times for breakfast tacos. I sent him for a pick up dinner. It is difficult to figure out what to order since you need to look at the blurry menu photos on Yelp - there is no website and no menu posted on Yelp. (My husband did ask for a paper menu that I was going to photo clearly and post, but they said they did not have any.) I ordered the #1 (might as well start at the top right?) a beef taco and a cheese enchilada. We also ordered a carnitas sope to split. The sope was my favorite, and would be perfect for a light (small qty, not diet) dinner. I really enjoyed the tacos, they obviously fry the corn tortillas in house. The BEST Carne Asada Fries I can find in the metroplex! They used to be extreme great value around $7 but it has since upped the price to $9 but I would still on occasion order it. Frys are cooked perfectly, guac and smooth, the red sauce is SPICY, I forgot how spicy it was and threw the whole container into half of it. but no regrets! They can be inconsistent sometimes with the quality but its one of the best comfort foods for me. Fast service and they have a drive-through as well. They live in the neighborhood and had assumed that it wasn't the best because it never looked busy from the outside, but I was convinced by the mostly positive reviews re: the authentic tacos. Good tacos for good prices. They even messed up my order one time, and I didn't find out until I was home, but they gladly fixed it, after I called them and went back. My go-to are their fajitas tacos, they are a decent size, taste good and are a good price, compared to what any other taco shop wants to charge now-a-day. I recall them being $1.19. I use to visit this place at least once a week, even had a 5 star review praising the food and affordable pricing. Over the last few months I'm guessing they have gone through ownership change because its straight up trash now. Take a look at my pictures of the menu, it's been this way for at least 3 months, I've ordered the same thing multiple times with different prices and they are usually double what prices use to be and the quality has gone down.
