Sadly though we did not receive complimentry bread which we have always in the past. Did not notice it on other's tables as well. Also, it must be said that this restaurant is in need of some TLC or renovations. The carpeting is long past its useful life and does nothing to add to the Italian atmosphere of the place. The banquet style chairs are also ugly and uncomfortable. We still love the place and will continue to come here as part of our staple restaurants we visit. At one time Romero's was really the only Italian restaurant I would recommend in Guelph. With Buon Gusto and La Cucina in town I think Romeros needs to reinvent themselves a bit.
