When looking at the menu, there was even a disclaimer about the wait time, as they note on the menu that "good food takes time to make". It's understandable that quality food takes time to prepare, but we felt that overall the service was super slow. Taking our order took a while, and evening bringing out bill took an unnecessary 25 minutes after they cleared our plates. The food was also mediocre at best. Everything tasted bland and it could definitely use some more seasoning (or at least salt).

The ambiance was good but they missed the mark with the "romantic" setting if that's what they were going for. The service was a team style service. Our primary server "Chris" I thought was mediocre & just didn't have the charisma that a good server should have in a restaurant like this. We had to ask multiple times for both bread & pepper. The food was very tasty. I started off with the Calamari ($16.00). It was tasty but not overly so. It came accented with a red pepper style dip that didn't match the seafood taste. In my opinion it should have been a seafood sauce or tartar sauce. My main was the "Fettuccine with a Twist" ($32.00). The "twist" was 3x shrimp, chicken & peppers. It was a small portion & the pasta was very al-dente but I liked it like that. The rose sauce that was with the fettuccine was superb. I had the tiramisu ($10.00) for dessert. It was VERY mediocre & and very small portion as well (see pic). All in all this isn't a do-over for me. Too high priced with an auto tip of 20% which is why the service was what it was. Total bill was $200.00.

It turned into an embarrassing and disappointing experience. I am a retired Air Force Captain, a veteran of the Gulf War, and that evening I was joined by my brother and our spouses, we all choose to drink red wine. After enjoying dinner and ordering our second bottle of wine, a female manager approached our table to ask how we were getting home. I explained that my wife and I were staying at the Delta Hotel across the street and walked here and were walking back, while my brother mentioned that his daughter would be picking them up. Later, when we ordered a fourth bottle of wine to enjoy with dessert, the same manager returned and refused to serve us, claiming that it would amount to "one bottle per person" and could "put us over the limit." In all my 64 years, I have never been refused service ever -- especially while being responsible, polite, and transparent about our arrangements. Feeling insulted and unwelcome, we decided to take our business to the Delta Hotel, where we were treated with courtesy and common sense.
