Was brought here by a friend immediately on Friday night and had surgery Saturday morning to get a titanium rod and screws. The nursing staff was excellent, and my surgeon Dr. Shah was super cool and did a phenomenal job. From Friday to Monday, they did everything possible to keep me comfortable. TBH I'm shocked this place only has 3 stars... it's a great hospital with an even better staff. And yes they have a reputation for food and it's actually pretty good, however it's a bit bland for patients, way better as a visitor. Anyways, highly recommend them. Will not return LOL

I feel there are some amazing professionals here, but they all look truly defeated, and something empty appears in their eyes and hearts. This hospital needs to bring real lifesavers back into this great hospital and start saving more lives each day. Don't give up, Huntington! The community needs you all to stay strong and help their loved ones. This is your duty, this is your calling, this is your purpose. I will change my review when I see and understand that this hospital is changing for the better. What I witnessed today, and over the last week with my father-in-law in the hospital under critical care, has been very disappointing. For now, this hospital needs someone in charge who wants to save lives every day not giving up fast based on diseases that could be healed and cured over time. Saving lives is the goal. That's the mission. Good luck to all who visit this hospital. You're gonna need it. Or maybe, go to another one until they get their operations in order.

From the moment you walk in, the environment is impeccably clean, calm, and thoughtfully designed--it strikes the perfect balance between medical office and a relaxing, spa-like atmosphere. The staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and attentive, taking the time to explain each treatment in a way that feels both informative and reassuring. I typically come in for B12 shots, (I recommend the Honey Badger) , and the process is quick, seamless, and handled with great care. Efficiency, level of professionalism, and attention to detail is what you receive throughout the entire visit. I've personally noticed a meaningful improvement in my energy levels and overall sense of well-being following my treatments. Equally important, I feel completely confident in the safety and quality of care provided here. Scheduling is easy. You can call or check the schedule online. Appointments run on time, and every interaction reflects a high standard of service. NOTE: Parking is free for the first 90 minutes, but keep in mind the day and time you go can make it a challenge to find parking. Give yourself time. You park in the same lot with A LOT of restaurants. You need the code to get into the office building. No appointments passed 5pm and not Saturdays. I will absolutely continue coming back.

To use CanadianPharmacyKing.com I need a physical signed script to send them and Kaiser only uses electronic scripts. Unfortunately due to the strike the RN's who normally handle this are not available and Melanie took the time to locate the backup team member (which took a min) to get my prescription done today while she still checked in other patients!

I drove an hour in traffic after work to get to the Kaiser Pasadena Pharmacy by 8:45 pm, relieved I…read morehad made it in time. When I arrived, the pharmacy doors were locked. A pharmacist came out and said they closed at 8 pm. Before leaving work, I checked the hours in three places online, including Google and Kaiser's own website in two different spots. All said 9 pm. It takes minutes to update hours online so you are not wasting people's time and money. That is basic integrity. There were two people inside waiting and she said they were urgent care patients, so they stay open until 9 pm for urgent care. Given that they had not updated their hours, you would think they could take two minutes to grab my prescription. I had received the text that it was ready and had just driven an hour to pick it up. Integrity feels rare these days. There are things I like about Kaiser and things that are ludicrous. Pros: everything is in one building. Referrals are easier than they used to be. Many appointments can be done online, which is a huge timesaver. The mental health practitioners I have interacted with have been kind and caring. Things that need improvement: I was on a waitlist for over a year to get a therapist. Now that I have one, appointments are still hard to get because there are very few available. My doctor recently had me do labs to change medication. I checked the results myself and saw I have hypothyroidism. No one called me to explain this. I only realized it because I looked up what the labs meant. When I read the symptom list and saw I have nearly all of them, I was shocked I had never been tested before. Ladies, get your hormones checked. Women's health care is still lacking. Which brings me to my IUD insertion. It was so agonizing I almost passed out, so they sent me home with medication to dilate before trying again. What they did not tell me is that the dilation medication caused worse pain than when I had kidney stones. Kaiser does not provide localized pain relief for IUD insertions, and I had already taken the maximum dose of ibuprofen. The first attempt was 40 minutes of agony. The second attempt involved 4 hours of severe dilation pain followed by another 35 minutes of insertion. That does not include the long wait times. They need better training or actual pain management for women. Lastly, I needed an EKG before starting a new medication. When I called, there were no appointments available for weeks, but my doctor needed it within a week. She told me to go to the Pasadena nurse clinic as a walk in and gave me the hours. I booked the far out appointment just in case and went as a walk in. The receptionist said they could not fit me in because they were full and only open two more hours. I asked when to come back and returned at the time he suggested. He then said the nurse who does EKGs would be leaving in an hour and could not see me. This was the second time I had followed their instructions and been turned away. I had rented a car just to get there. He sent me to Glendale. I drove 45 minutes in rush hour and arrived just before closing. The nurse there told me Pasadena should not have sent me away and that they are supposed to take walk ins but keep sending patients to Glendale. They were incredibly kind and saw me even though they were close to closing. I know Kaiser employees likely work in a tough, fast paced system. But with the massive amounts of money insurance companies make, you would think there would be more efficient care, accessible mental health services, better women's health care, updated hours, and policies that are actually honored. Too often patients are treated like cattle, rushed through to get to the next. Wouldn't it be nice if health care actually cared? A gal can dream...

Keep in mind, my uncle has been going to this clinic for several decades and this is his first time seeing Dr Andrew Fung, who was extremely inconsiderate, rude, and unhelpful. Uncle went in to receive the documents needed for his blood work. They gave him the WRONG documents, it was the blood work papers for another patient of theirs (who is female and not even the same gender as my uncle). They were not careful and didnt check the paper before giving it to him! So he had to go back a 2nd time to rectify the situation. Unfortunately, the front desk and doctor kept claiming that no mistake was made, not checking the name on the paper and still insisting that they were right. They ignored his concern, met him with animosity, and kept insisting he was wrong. The doctor was extremely rude, dismissed him, and didnt care to assess the issue at all. They were extremely rude, inconsiderate, and brash. It wasn't until my uncle had the chance to point out the discrepancy in the names and they finally realized the issue. But they didnt apologize at all! My relative ended up leaving without a resolution. And will never be coming back again. If accuracy, competency, and compassion mean a lot to you when seeing a doctor, then DONT GO HERE.
