I was doing a full house remodel. As part of my project, I ordered 3 sets of closet…read moredrawers/organizers from CF Cabinets in February 2022. At that time, I didn't know that would be the beginning of my nightmare. I spent thousands of dollars but the cabinet drawers picked up by my contractor (they refused to deliver) are not functional at all - I can't open the drawers doors due to the serious design mistake - the drawers are too big, hitting the sliding doors every time when I try to open them. It is impossible to install or use the cabinets at all. Until now, I have to throw most of my clothes in the boxes on the floor. Very inconvenient. The CF Cabinet designer, Ray, forgot to consider cabinet sliding doors in his design. We called and sent many messages to them in the past month without any appropriate solutions, and their attitude was extremely arrogant. The female boss Anna (Enqin Zhai) and the designer, Ray, almost disappeared once we paid all the money. Their irresponsible behaviors make me very disappointed. At first, they refused to modify the cabinets drawers even though the problems were fully due to the designer's mistakes. They asked my contractor to modify the drawers. However, the design mistake is too big to be fixed by the contractor. Also, it is not my contractor's job to fix CF cabinets' mistakes. We told the cabinet designer, Ray, that the contractor can't fix their problem after trying multiple times. They said that I need to pay an additional $200 dollars service fee so that they can send a cabinet worker to come to our house to check / fix the cabinets for us. I truly hoped that they could quickly fix the cabinets at that time, so I paid $200. Unfortunately, on 3/29/2022, one person stopped by and checked the cabinets and told me that he can't fix them on-site. The guy left without any solutions/followup. I feel like they just stole $200 dollars away from me and did nothing helpful. I called them again. They said that we need to ask our contractor to send / deliver the problematic cabinets to them. Even though it is not my contractor's job, he did help us pick up and return all sets back to CF cabinets on 3/31/2022. Afterwards, Ray and Anna stop replying to my messages or returning our calls for a whole week. When they returned, they promised to slightly modify the cabinets by shortening the drawers by ¾ inches, and they said "confidently", "it will work after cutting ¾ inches for sure!" Guess what? It didn't work at all. The hardware is twisted and their proposed solutions didn't work again. I messaged them to solve the problem by cutting the drawers by 2 inches, but they refused to do so. Instead, they said they can only return ~$600 dollars (I spent ~$5000 totally) to me and removed the drawers totally. However, the proposal is totally losing the function of drawers, and it is going to be against the original purpose of the cabinets. If I agree, I will only have shelves without drawers. The cost of shelves is a lot cheaper than drawers (more than $600) and they can resell the drawers to other clients afterwards. I requested them to return all of my money, or return $1000 with shelves. The boss, Anna, said coldly, "just leave as it is, deal with it, we will not return money. It is your loss." They charged me thousands of cash (plus service cost $200), without delivering any products to us - CF cabinets kept all the money and cabinets. The quality of cabinets is low. The corners of the cabinets are damaged already. More importantly, I can't use the cabinets at all. I hope whoever reads my review won't do any business with CF cabinets. I have worked with 3 different cabinets suppliers in my project, and the other two are way better. It is normal to have some minor problems as long as you help your customers fix the issues and be responsible. It is unacceptable to tell your customer to "deal with it yourself" in an offensive & bad-mannered way. They never apologized for all the inconvenience. (I don't have places to hang my clothes and the problematic cabinets occupied a lot of space of my living rooms until my contractor picked them up and sent them back, even though it is not his job to clean up the mess created by CF cabinets).

All workers were very polite and respectful, which we really appreciated since we were living in the house during construction. The process started with the bid, which was done quickly and clearly. Of the four bids we received, Sunny was competitive with others. However, we liked the professionalism and approachability of Jose right off the bat. Through the design process , we were updated regularly on options, and never felt pressured to select specific products. The suppliers recommended were excellent. Demo and construction was quick and very tidy. We lived in our house during construction, and both Sunny and their subcontractors made sure to keep things clean around their work areas. All workers and subs were always on time and showed up when they said they would. There were never long periods where no work was being done, as is often the experience with other contractors. Small things would come up during construction, and questions were asked, but they were transparent about options on how to deal with them, and we quickly moved through them. Often the construction team would be waiting on us to make decisions, instead of the typical reverse! They were again very prompt and communicative with construction. The quality of work was great too, as we would often look at the work during the process. Trex is the composite decking solution with the best distribution around SF (they even have some versions of it at Home Depot) but I don't think it's the best looking and the versions I saw were not coated on all 4 sides. So, I was looking for either Fiberon or TimberTech Pro, or TimberTech Azek. Turns out that there are shortages of TimberTech to the extent that they didn't have any at Golden State Lumber or South City Lumber. Now I know you can order just about anything from most lumber yards, but ordering is not a game I want to play if possible. So I was looking for something in stock, and fortunately, South City Lumber did have Fiberon, in 5 colors. They also had something of a showroom with tons of physical samples for the various options they could order. This actually made me more confident in going with one of the choices they had in stock since I realized the ones to be ordered were not really preferable. Thanks South City Lumber!

Another customer in front of me gave up and left merchandise on the counter and split. Another man was behind the counter-off duty? a friend of the employee? With my odd size vanity requirement, they were able to quickly offer a 3 cabinet solution that covered my needs. They will also suggest a couple countertop places to shop for and ordering via Excelle gets you a 10% discount. I visited the shop multiple times and happy to report that the experience has been consistently pleasant. Good coffee, good music, sound advice and they are super patient to let us visualize the colors and styles with different samples.
