There are places that pay higher amounts per lb. However, I've found that there are reasons for that. This place has fast service and they unload everything straight out of your truck for you. They are honest, and always do a great job. I've been to a few other places around town, and they pay in check. It's a pain the butt to have to cash a check right after unloading a bunch of dirty cans. Who has time for check cashing anymore anyway? Also, at most of these other locations, you have to unload them yourself! I'm okay with that, in the winter, when it isn't a million degrees outside, and also when I have no plans for the rest of the day. I've done it before. Not a big deal, but not very convenient. The only thing about SJ Recycling is, you have to take OFF all of the caps on your plastic bottles before bringing them in! Easy, just remove them before you even put them in your recycle bin! read more

URGENT PLEASE READ AND PASS ON. If you go to San Jacinto recycling center please stay away from this boy. If you are a girl or if you want someone to be rude and disrespectful to you then go see this guy they said his name is supposedly angel. It Started off where we only had problems with this guy but at the very end as I'm driving out of the driveway the lady in the office came out and said some cussing words and told me where to go and all I asked her was for corporate phone number which they didn't give me and I asked for his name. It all started when my friend asked me if I can help him take his recycling in because he has a lot of it and he would give me a little bit of gas money. I said sure why not I recommended this place on esplanade because I've been going there for years so he went over there. he wanted to go to a different one I said no this place is better there great. As soon as we pull in the attitudes started. We were laughing and joking we're having a great time until we got there. They come up to my car and was extremely rude and disrespectful and then they continue to be rude and disrespectful. My friend had two plastic things mixed in with the cans TWO plastic bottles that's it. And the guy comes up and said to separate the cans from the plastic I just got yelled at for it. He said it a couple of times in a row not letting us say ok. Then just as my friend was about to separate them another guy came up and said you need to separate that out on the sidewalk. My friend was like OK no problem so he was trying to explain to me what was going on because I was like what was that about and before he was even finish explaining it to me another guy come stomping up doesn't even say anything grabs all my friends stuff and literally throws it outside the fence and said you need to separate it by the sidewalk. How disrespectful can they be. He separated it outside the fence like they told him to. It was only two things to pull out So it didn't take long he brought his stuff back in the fence and over by the car. Then a another guy comes up to us and says you need to separate that outside and my friend like I already separated it outside and I just brought it back in and the guy just repeated himself saying it needs to be separated outside and turned around and walked away and went over to a truck and started talking to another guy and pointing towards my car. I went in because I wanted the guy Who threw my friend stuff's name and I wanted corporate phone number so I went in the lady who greeted me seemed very nice . She said how are you doing I said honestly I was really good until I got here and I asked her do you have a corporate phone number and she said no and I looked at her I said you don't have corporate phone number and she goes well we do but no marriages are in right now there on vacation. I said wall I will leave a message can I please have the phone for them please she gave me a business card and said this is the phone number and I said OK thank you and by the way what is this guys name she said um angel I said OK thank you and as I'm walking away the guy said my name is right here See as he was pointing to his chest and I'm like I don't want to look at you I got in the car so that I won't lose my cool in there because you don't treat people like how they have been treating us so far so I waited for my friend to get his money so I can leave. they have a huge dumpster on the sidewalk where anybody who's walking by or at the recycling place could throw their trash away and you could tell everybody and their mother throws there trash away there so my friend throw a thing of trash in there and they literally came running out got into the dumpster and pulled it out and said you can't put that in our dumpster and opened my car door and threw it in my car and I was just like wow OK and as I was pulling out the driveway this lady who I thought was somewhat nice who was in the room comes out and says fuck that bitch get her license plate number. Thats awesome is that really how you should treat your customers. Without customers they wouldn't have a job and that's how they want to treat us so when I got home I called the phone number on the business card the phone number on the business card that was supposedly " corporate office " it was really to their office the one I was just at the one she told me there's no managers on duty. Well all of a sudden a girl pics of the phone and she said she's a manager but she just told me there's no manager on duty for a while but now with some magic one answers the phone. Funny how that worked everything they say and do is a lie and they do it with total disrespect and told disregard for everybody the guy this Angel guy was laughing and doing this nanny nanny nanny dance like he was two when I was trying to leave. Never again! Been coming here for years and know u have to have everything separated or u come back. I got there a little after 1230 and didn't leave until 137! 4 people that were behind me that got there 20 min after, we're gone before I could get my ticket. The one kid that helped me, didn't pay attention to the trashy chicks taking selfies the entire time. Who does that? I'm not sure if they brought all the flies with them or friends to play with the others at the recycling center. Daniel helped separate ALL their recycling WHICH EVEN had an empty kitty litter plastic bottle! Come on wtf!!! The truck was completely compacted with their kids in an suv. Daniel and a few others separated everything for them, when my elderly mother was sent away and told to come back because 1 bag wasn't completely separated. These guys flirted with the girls the entire time with seriously more than 10 people in line consistently. I thanked the kid that helped me and tipped him 4 bucks and thanked him for not being like the other idiots and chasing p@ss1e! The other idiots were only worried about that. One lady complained about helping the girl separate everything and hold up the line but Daniel had the nerve to say oh the guys new and didn't know but it was him and his friends. Daniel even had the nerve to talk to them after they were done and hold up the line longer! Grow up! Hemet trash for sure. This place sucks. One trip will be the only trip. The employees were smoking cigarettes while unloading the cans and bottles and arguing amongst themselves about whose turn it was to go to lunch. We normally unload the recyclables ourselves but they insisted on doing it. Took too damn long at that! There was broken glass and trash all over the drive way. The place is a real dump and needs adult supervision. More cash for your recyclables can be had elsewhere. read more

I used this Center with my sister many times and it was OK. One day I came alone and one man cheated me! He understood my language is not so good and cheat me as I was in India! It so horrible, I am in America! I gave him full bean with plastic bottles and received 15$. OK, after 2 weeks my sister made the same and received 30$! It is disgusting!
