I don't recommend this business. It's small , dilapidated, and the food was just okay. I didn't have a really positive experience and the server was sub bar of what a server should be. I didn't see the owner of the establishment, and workers weren't very friendly. I wouldn't recommend this location.

The food was pretty good! At first, I was a little skeptical because the only salsa they brought out was a non-spicy tomato sauce, but luckily, we were able to get a hot and spicy salsa! When my mom asked for a pitcher of margarita, they could only give us a frozen margarita, so we did that. My mom said it was a little different from a margarita and that it had a mango taste to it, but that it was good nonetheless. When our food was brought, it was delicious! I got the vegetarian B combo, with a bean burrito, a chalupa, and a quesadilla. The staff all had masks, tables were blocked off, and outdoor seating is offered.

Great. Authentic Mexican food right off Interstate if you're passing through the area and looking for food served quickly. Very authentic and the place is Rich with ambiance. Food has incredible taste and is presented with care for a great dish ever time.

Carnitas. Photo does not do them justice. Fantastic!

New favorite Mexican restaurant! Just had a fantastic meal (carnitas) sitting outside with my boyfriend. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals (think he got the chicken quesadillas) and beers (Dos Equis-been forever since we've had those) and the outside late-evening setting was perfect. Love love love. Service and server were on point. All around great experience. We'll obviously be back. Also I'm not sure Jimmy knows how reviews work- but I think he meant to give 5 stars, not 1.

Had lunch at San Jose's. We were greeted right away and had drink orders taken. We were given chips and salsa, but the salsa was the usual blended tomato stuff that seems to be popular around here. I asked the waiter if they had something better and hotter. He brought us some salsa verde, which is a tomatillo based green sauce. This sauce was way better. I ordered 2 tacos, one with chicken and one with Carne Asada, and rice and beans. All were good but not great. My wife also got tacos and my daughter a quesadilla. The said there food was good as well. Overall, this place is ok. The service was good and the restaurant clean. The food is good, but not great. I'm starting to wonder if I will find a really good Mexican restaurant anywhere in South Carolina.

We were seated right away and greeted with chips and bean dip, which is delicious. They have a salsa bar with about 6 or more salsas people are able to choose from. The traditional salsa as well as the tomatillo salsa is my favorite. The ranch-style salsa is also one of my favorites. In addition to the salsas and bean dip, we also ordered queso, which is creamy and delicious. The grand margarita is amazing! Definitely will be my go to margarita here. They make it beautiful with the garnish. I ordered the chicken and steak fajitas. The chicken and steak were seasoned well, along with the vegetables, all of which were cooked to perfection. The rice and beans were delicious as well. I love how fresh everything is. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. The parking can get tight, but it's totally worth the wonderful experience.

Stopped by here with a colleague for dinner and so enjoyed the experience!…read more I arrived on a Wednesday evening just before 7pm and was able to be seated straight away. The parking lot was full (was able to park in the log of a a nearby business that was closed) but there's plenty of seating inside so even with the full lot, we were easily able to get a table. Our server greeted us straight away and brought water, chips, and bean dip. They also have a salsa bar where you can help yourself to salsa! For my cocktail, I got their oaxaca old fashioned. Which was a reposado twist on a traditional whiskey old fashioned. It was great! For a starter, in addition to chips, bean dip, and salsa, we ordered some of their queso, which was silky cheesy deliciousness. For my dinner, I got the #19--chile relleno, small cheese quesadilla, and mexican rice. The chile relleno was flavorful, delicious, and had just the right amount of heat. It had a lovely drizzle of their queso as well which was a nice addition. It was so good! The dining room is clean, brightly lit, and nicely decorated. Our server was friendly and attentive. Truly, a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Get to it!
